Ive said this for over a year that only alts to survive are merge mined coins over time... this is what drove me to dev devcoin which was one of the first.. Lotta ppl dismissed this but some people saw it coming.. now I have my theories on my next postulate regarding on what would help an alt survive again devcoin stands out in the clear still.. if you can see why you will be able to invest and become rich one day.

Btw Ive added the merge mined patch to Syscoin which is scrypt based and it offers v2 auxpow
blocks along with the memory bloat issues fix with merge mined coins.

So if there are 100 coins that merge mine with LTC, does that mean I can mine 100 coins at once?? How does this work from a miner setup point of view exactly.
Yup you can use ltc btc hash power to solve blocks on other chains and you can have multi chains to mine many coins at once.

Isn't it the other way around? It's Doge accepting hashrates from other Scrypt coins, including from Litecoin miners? So it makes other coins merge-mined with Doge.

Lol no dogecoin had to fork to be able to merge mine with litecoin.Every scrypt coin wiĺl die unless they merge mine with litecoin.

You got it wrong, LTC bag holder Smiley Dogecoin had to fork to introduce the auxPoW feature, that's true about the forking part. But read up on what that feature is. It allows other Scrypt coin pools to merge-mine Doges, not only Litecoin pools but whatever other Scrypt coins there are, they all now send their hashrate to Doge. Doge is the Scrypt coin to rule other Scrypt coins, Doge will use everyone's hashrate to its power, muahaha! Grin

Nxt is not merging with ltc. It has already been established ltc will not be apart of the SuperNET

Great news , I wouldn't want litecoin to be associated with a shitty ipo scamcoin.

OP is asking "what is the next coin that will merge mine with LTC?" Don't worry, it happens to me a lot.

I'm guessing most scrypt coins will merge mine eventually. But in the near future, those with less-than-desirable hashrates will probably go for it before others.

What do you guys think the next coin will be that will follow the merge mining like dogecoin has?
