I am also the administrator of the Nexxus Rewards Telegram group. I saw the post that tvplus006 copied and pasted here. I banned him/her because I knew that his claim was illegitimate. Although I've never met him in person, I have spoken with Joe Pescia, our National Sales Director. He is not a "fake" team member. Furthermore, what would Bob Wood stand to gain by intentionally deceiving?

Well, what do you know....
We also tagged your scam project because we know your excuses are a bunch of lies.
Does it sound fair? Yes, it does.

My name is William Terry Howell. I go by Terry. I am the COO of Nexxus Rewards. I exist. I know all of our leadership personally. We meet on a regular basis; some of us every week. I have a doctor's degree and post-doctoral work and 35 years of professional experience most of which was at the C suite level. I have helped start, grow and sell companies. I have worked in hospitals and hospital systems all over the country as a consultant, mostly within the C suite.  I have also served on the C Suite of two large hospitals with 700 million to 1 billion in revenue. I have just co-authored a 92,000-word book on disruptive innovation in healthcare.

And yet here you are ...trying to sell tokens worth 2 mil$ worth to...help others.
Why don't you take a mortgage for it? With your history, reputation and credit score any bank would lend you that in a matter of seconds.

Anyhow, you have bigger problems:

I have a doctor's degree and post-doctoral work and 35 years of professional experience most of which was at the C suite level. I have helped start, grow and sell companies. I have worked in hospitals and hospital systems all over the country as a consultant, mostly within the C suite.  I have also served on the C Suite of two large hospitals with 700 million to 1 billion in revenue. I have just co-authored a 92,000-word book on disruptive innovation in healthcare. It is available in hardback, paperback, electronically and in audio. Feel free to take a look:  https://www.healthcareiskillingus.com/. I currently sit on boards with fiduciary responsibility and I coach executives, mostly CEOs. I'm not trying to impress anyone and only share this just in case you need to know if our executive team has experience. We do.

Just so you know, I don't need to work and I certainly don't need to steal money from any of you. But I do understand your caution. Given the despicable behavior that has been exhibited throughout the young history of cryptocurrency, you are wise to be cautious.

Much like the stock market, two emotions dominate this young industry: fear and greed. But there are other reasons to think about investing in a company or a coin; doing good for others. The reason that I became interested in Nexxus Rewards is that its approach is disruptive and innovative in a very positive way. Disruptive innovation is a strong interest of mine especially since writing the aforementioned book. Nexxus Rewards is designed to help charities, small merchants and shoppers in new and exciting ways. It has great utility and has been tested thoroughly. We have a strong strategic plan, know the market, prioritize what we do wisely and know how to get things done. We have built the concept and support infrastructure solidly over the last three years.

We are not looking to get rich quick, that's a fool's errand. We are building a solid company with an important mission. We are looking for capital to help us do it right. I, personally, would love for you to participate but understand if you don't. Remember, you can lose money by getting scammed and you can lose money by missing out on a really sound business idea. So I know it is a tough decision.

We made a mistake. We are currently busy on multiple fronts, so I suspect we will make more. Most people that actually accomplish something do make mistakes. Bob Wood, our CEO, admitted the mistake that understandably frightened some of you. He apologized for it and he meant what he said. So we are done with that. Any of you who have never made a mistake, please contact me so I can come and learn from you. If you are interested in hearing more about why I think this is a wise and worthwhile investment, please contact me on LinkedIn. Serious inquiries only, please.

I wish you the best in all that you do.

I am Michael Bailey, the Localization Director of Nexxus Rewards, a position I have held since February 2016, just two months following the founding of the company. I have known Bob Wood for 5 years and I have worked for him for 4 years.

I chose to work for Nexxus for the first year without pay. Because I am fluent in Latin American Spanish, I translated all of the Nexxus University courses, including the addition of video subtitles to LA Spanish. Needless to say, it required a SIGNIFICANT amount of time and effort. Why would anyone devote such personal time and energy to a company that he or she didn’t fully support and trust?

I chose to work without pay because I had worked with Bob Wood for a year at that point and found him to be probably THE most ethical, honest, sincere and transparent person I have ever met, let alone worked with, and I don't say that lightly. In addition, Bob Wood is one the most creative entrepreneurs or businessmen I’ve ever met. His rectitude, probity and ingenuity combined are the reason why I ultimately chose to work without pay. I truly believe in the potential of the company and the integrity of Bob Wood. Although I am a paid employee today, my salary remains very low so that the company can devote more of its resources to successfully launching Nexxus Rewards. Fortunately, I have other income which allows me to do this.

I have a varied background but my formal education is a BSc in Accounting and Computer Science. I've been an accountant, corporate controller and technical support analyst for a number of different companies in various industries over a 35-year period and I've witnessed every imaginable type of scam. I’ve also dealt with countless unethical, unscrupulous and disingenuous board members, CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, managers and employees.

To anyone who wonders why I waited until now to join Bitcointalk and speak up . . . I am not familiar with Bitcointalk.org as my function within the company does not deal with marketing, promotion or the technical details of Nexxus Rewards or Nexxus Coin (NXX). Therefore, I've had no reason to join this forum, until now. I was also not aware of the nature of the "scam" warnings and at first considered them to be commonplace in the cryptocurrency industry.

The type of rash judgment that led to the current misunderstanding of what really occurred did so precisely because of the lack of due diligence in the rush to judgment and/or carelessness. Did anyone ever consider clicking on the LinkedIn links below the management team photos and titles? Obviously, someone was diligent enough to audit the management team but obviously not sufficiently so to contact other members of the Nexxus management team.

I have worked very hard over the past 4 years to help Bob Wood bring Nexxus Rewards, a new cryptocurrency-based customer loyalty program to the mainstream, a program in which cryptocurrency is embedded within the program and is not immediately obvious to the charitable and non-profit organizations, merchants or shoppers. However, at a later time, when their reward points increase in value due to the automatic buyer demand for the Nexxus Coin (NXX), they’ll wonder why and begin to investigate cryptocurrency of their own accord.

This is a step that was very carefully designed to assist in the adoption of cryptocurrency by the mainstream public.

With Nexxus Rewards, EVERYONE wins, not simply the company. Charities and non-profit organizations win by signing up with Nexxus and enrolling their membership as Nexxus shoppers and then encourage those members to patronize Nexxus merchants. In exchange, such organizations receive 20% of the marketing fee paid by merchants. Merchants win because shoppers now have a reason to return to their store . . . to redeem their reward points, which are Nexxus Coins, which can appreciate in value. Shoppers win because in addition to the reward points they earn, they can earn a portion of the marketing fee by referring their friends and family, in addition to the appreciation of the Nexxus Coin as transaction volume increases. Nexxus Rewards will buy these tokens from the public exchanges, thereby generating built-in utility or buyer demand.

Nexxus Rewards is NOT a scam. Scams, scammers and liars do not engender the caliber of trust and confidence that I have in the management team.

Everyone on this forum knows full well that the vast majority of cryptocurrencies and crypto or blockchain-based projects ARE, in fact, scams. Everyone and their dog want to jump on the “get rich quick” bitcoin/cryptocurrency/blockchain/FinTech bandwagon in the same way that people flocked to California in 1847 for the Gold Rush. When someone unfamiliar with the aforementioned industries loses money or gets hacked, they cry foul very quickly, blaming the company, the developer or the tech support representative for their loss because they are unwilling to accept personal responsibility. Even those who are familiar with these industries (like many on this forum) seem unwilling to perform a thorough due diligence before flagging something as a scam by contacting one of more members of the management team and asking them about any concerns.

C'mon guys . . . we're all adults here and no doubt many of you have advanced degrees so there's no lack of intelligence. We're also human and fallible; we sometimes make mistakes, especially when we're excited and passionate about something. How many here are perfect and have never made an unintentional mistake or never makes mistakes? I certainly do. I have bolded every statement that says I choose or I chose because I willingly own my words and behavior and I know that Bob Wood would NEVER intentionally deceive someone.

However . . . as Bob Wood himself previously asked here: "How does one prove that they are not a scam"?

Sincerely,
Michael D. Bailey
Localization Director

We regretfully acknowledge that we made a mistake on our website management team listing.

The picture for our National Sales Director, Joe Prescia, was a temporary placeholder by our web designer, while he was waiting for a good picture to use for Joe. In our haste, the website got posted before Joe's picture got updated

This is the 5th thread today in which I read that the "mistake" was because of the web designer that used a placeholder...
So he grabbed the first picture of google and....yeah the 5th time today only!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is using fake pictures by mistake, the web designers these days, so incompetent. /s

As soon as we discovered the error, we immediately removed the temporary image.  All team members and all other information is 100% accurate and we apologize for any concerns caused by this oversite.

No, you didn't, only when you were flagged as scammers your started giving more than f !!!

Joe Prescia is a real person and an experienced National Sales Director

Wow, an experienced national sales director and has not even one good picture...
Unless he sells stone arrowheads to some cavemen in Yellowstone, I doubt that's possible.

I am the CEO and Founder of Nexxus Rewards...
I will never believe that you never visited your site and did not see your team there. You have only 8 team members. Or do you not know your employees? Do the other team members also not know each other?
Sorry Bob, I cannot take your excuses seriously.

I am the CEO and Founder of Nexxus Rewards.  This negative review of our project has been posted that is not accurate. We absolutely are not a scam.

Ironically, I have been fighting scams myself for over 5 years and I host a video blog called Cryptocurrency Myth Busters at: www.CryptoMyths.com. I also have researched and reported on many MLM crypto scams like OneCoin and most recently Cloud Token.

The one single misused image was the only fault with our website. Everything else is 100% accurate.  Our team member, Joe Prescia is real, just his picture on the website was borrowed. Scammers fake most or all of the team.  I've tracked down many scammers too.

You can review my bio on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bobwood56/
OR on my personal website at: http://whoisbobwood.com/about/

What can I do to prove that we are not a scam?

-- Thanks
-- Bob Wood

You really expect that people will trust you after you got caught red handed?

If you are indeed tracking scammers for years, then you would know that this kind of practice where you used someone else's picture is against any professional ethic, and you should be well aware of the consequences. All i know is that i wouldn't invest in company that resorts to these kind of things.

I will leave for @tvplus006 to decide,
but maybe you should post some public apology information regarding this issue,
and post real photo for this team member, with links for all other members.

The funny thing is how did one of Mick Dilger's photo ended up with you in the first place? That kind of mistake is something I don't even see especially if he isn't "connected in any way" to the crypto industry. I know you are here to clean your name and your reputation and we cannot just take your word for it so any evidence proving that "Joe Prescia is a real person" then your red tag on my side will be cleared. Like what Coolcryptovator always ask I think a video of him showing proof of his existence and identity is enough for me to convince that this was a big and rare mistake (which I already seen as an excuse/alibi before).

The image was grabbed randomly from Google images.  There was no attempt to scam anyone.  All other team members' information is 100% accurate. It was an unfortunate oversite that we humbly regret. The project was already funded and has been in operation for over 3 years since 1/1/2016.  It has successfully completed its software development and market testing with a professional management and advisory team.

The inadvertent misuse of one image is accurate, but the claim of a scam is not accurate.  I hope that reasonable people would realize that although we made a mistake, this does not constitute a scam.

Thanks for your understanding...

Its really hard to prove this is just a mistake when a lot of scam projects had done this before this Nexxus team did. I don't have any idea what the Nexxus project is but even if a project has really good concept but mistakenly put another picture as their team member, its not going to look good for the project. To us posting fake profiles means there is an intention.

The temporary picture was apparently of Mick Dilger, working in the pipeline industry, who is not connected in any way to cryptocurrency or any other industry related to Nexxus Rewards. There was no intent to steal his identity or defraud others by his participation in Nexxus Rewards.

We regretfully acknowledge that we made a mistake on our website management team listing.
Who are you? Are you from team member? If so then what is your identify and role for this project? This is a unrealistic excuse and we are feeling bore when we hear that kind of excuse. Why your website was not marked under construction? Why should you go live although you had not final investigate your website? So please stop laying.

As soon as we discovered the error, we immediately removed the temporary image.  All team members and all other information is 100% accurate and we apologize for any concerns caused by this oversite.
Really? or we have discovered it? Removing picture after caught red handed is not going to help you to resolve this issue. Whoever done that mistake, its team's responsibility to verify everything on the website. Community will never accept this mistake.

You are not deserve apologies really, so added one more tag and supported red flag against you.

Flag supported and tagged the NexxusRewards' account, I won't be tagging the member morvillz7z has included since it's just a regular member participating bounties and is not directly affiliated with Nexxus. Also it looks like NexxusRewards has caved in already as soon as this scam accusation thread for them has been opened, good job OP.

Joseph Prescia is no longer listed on their website as a team member. Not sure if that matters, it certainly doesn't change anything...they've been caught lying.

Btw, someone just posted a new airdrop thread of behalf of Nexxus Rewards, can't say if they are affiliated with the project or not.
