What a disappointment. Defence won the game, I appreciate their effort, but there wasn't any joy of watching. 4 hours for nothing. Cam Newton couldn't do anything, Panthers offense didn't help him. Peyton Manning also do nothing, he should be thankful of Bronco's defence team.
Von Miller won the MVP, what a game it was, you figure it out.

This game was rigged. It was full of defense and what a boring game. I wasted my 4 hours for this?
I'll never watch NFL again, especially Super Bowl. Sad

Carolina Panthers @ 1.44
I think this is a sure bet and I'm diggin' it. I'm going to put all my cash to Panthers, I trust them a lot. Smiley

Oops, hope ya didn't put the house on this one my friend. I honestly expected the panthers to play a lot better then they did. I also bet a good chunk of money on them tonight and its a shame it wasn't more competitive. Something I noticed in the 4th quarter when cam fumbled he made really no effort to get in there and recover it at all, as a panthers backer I think he had a shot at it and I'm disappointed he didn't even try. Anyways, it was a decent super bowl. Looking forward to next year.

im going with denver cant stand peyton but have harder time with cam newton so i bet on denver Wink

Good Luck, man. Being a Cowboys fan my whole life, I've learned the hard way not to bet with my emotions. I also want Denver to win, but can't bring myself to bet against the Panthers Juggernaut even with the current point spread. Plus I'm afraid of being a bet jinx for whatever team I put money (eg, I bet on NE to beat the Broncos in the Conference round and lost) on even though it's bad luck to be superstitious.  Tongue  So I'm going to stick with the first and second half over/under and prop bets.

I have nothing against Cam and the Panthers, but I'm rooting for Denver to win because I want DWare to get his ring and also I like wade Philips (see my previous post above). And I also like rooting for the underdog.  Smiley

My only bet so far is the first half under (22.5).

Yes Cam Newton is still a young guy and will have a bright future.
Peyton Manning however is pretty close to his retirement, maybe one or more seasons. And I think he deserves a second ring.
Just saw on reddit that one guy is betting 10BTC for Denver Broncos to win!! Shocked Odd is pretty nice (2,76).

Carolina Panthers will win the Super Bowl. I'm super excited to see Cam Newton doing his special celebration. Cheesy

I hope so. Not that I'm a big fan of the panthers all that much I just am not a fan of peyton manning. I'm betting pathers, I believe they are playing really strong football and will just be to much for Denver to handle. Should be a really good one though to watch. my prediction is Panthers 34 - Denver 27.

I have the Pats -3

That being said, my heart wants Denver to win because being a Dallas Cowboys fan, I want DeMarcus Ware to make it to the Super Bowl and get his ring. Also because Denver's defensive coordinator, Wade "Son of Bum" Phillips, used to be head coach of the Cowboys. He was a crap head coach, but a really good guy and I like him.

So either way, it's a win-win situation for me.

Does this sub-forum have an NFL thread, just like the Bundesliga and the EPL have its own threads?
My pick in the game Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

Denver Broncos v. New England Patriots 2, at a @1,62

In all honestly, this bet looks like a steal. Patriots missed key players the last time the two teams met earlier this season. They missed their 'weapons' - but for tonight's game, no major players will be missing in the Patriots squad, so they can get the long and the short play to work well. Looking at the raw stats, the Patriots are scoring more points and allowing the opponents to score fewer points than the Broncos. Even though Manning will be back in this game, I don't fancy him beeing 100% fit to make his trademark long throws. Because of this, Broncos won't be able to defeat Tom Brady & co. The Patriots will be able to move their lines higher up at the pitch, which will show to be crucial in their strive to victory.

First game up is KC Chiefs vs Houston Texans!

I am going with Kansas City -3 on this one as both teams come in hot, but I trust Alex Smith and the unbeaten streak by the Chiefs.

Anyone else playing the games today?

Next up is Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals.  Will follow up with a pick.
