what a let down with the steelers. They went for 2 every time and
didn't make any of them lol. Basically the difference in the game. Dallas
continues to win tough games. I must finally raise the white flag
playing against dak the rookie

Yeah it was and in my opinion it didn't make sense that they went for 2 point conversions every time. It seems fishy to me and also how with Dallas last drive with 42 seconds to go how easy they got up the field and also there were 2 face mask from the Steelers but only one was seen and cost them 15 yards which put Dallas in field goal range but the next play they got an easy running touchdown lol the game just looked like it was fixed in my opinion.

I made up some of my looses with the Giants as I decided to put them on once they became the underdog but I took the +6.5 point spread instead of the +1.5 which was at 1.40 as I was confident they would cover that amount of points. I already have 2 locks for week 11 so far which I'll be posting later on in the week.

I switched from traditional betting to mutual betting. It's more exciting and odds sometimes are much much better than on the classic one.

Meh, I shit the bed with my Atlanta pick and the pinche Giants couldn't come through for me with a cover. There were some really crazy endings this weekend. It could have been a lot worse for me as I almost made a snap last minute play on the Pats-Seahawks game yesterday. Good thing I didn't. Anyway, better not to dwell on it and just look forward to next weekend. Hopefully we'll all do better.  Smiley

I'm glad the day is over and I think it will be one to forget for most bettors betting on the NFL with only 3 favorites winning and in total only 4 favorites winning out of 13 games played so far in week 10. I wonder if the underdogs will continue on MNF?

Well at least I hit a winner on Houston and Junko had a nice hit on the Dallas Cowboys at the point spread and good luck with the Giants at the spread, I'm a little worried now as the dogs have been winning so I might leave MNF and just watch the game.

A terrible day so far for me on the NFL. 2 games were I was unlucky not to win was the Saints game thanks to a blocked extra point which then resulted in Denver running it back for 2 points and then Carolina loosing in the dying minutes to the Chiefs by a field goal. And we won't talk about Green Bay but I did have a nice win on Houston even though I said I wanted both the Texans and Titans to loose for my Colts division pick but I couldn't pass up on Houston at the money line as the Jaguars are not doing to well. Now I'm hoping the Steelers can win which is looking good early on to make up for some of my losses.

I'm also liking the Steelers at the money line and for me this is a lock even though Dallas have been playing some great football. As Rubberduckie said the Steelers need to keep there playoff dream alive and need to win this game at home to keep that dream alive. I'm also hoping the Titans and Texans loose to keep my Colts bet winning the AFC South alive. I think Green Bay can get the job done @ the Titans as they are in te same boat as the Steelers, they need a win to keep there playoff dreams alive.

You're right, this week is hard to pick/figure out. Both because of the match-ups and the lines.

Your Steelrs pick is interesting. I took the Cowboys +3 @ Steelers.

When I saw the opening line, I jumped on it right away without any thought. Dallas is rolling right now with Dak and Zeke. And their defense is really underrated. They are 7-1 against the spread and 4-0 on the road. The Steelers didn't look good against the Ravens last week. Thier 14 points came during garbage time at the end of the game. But I agree with you, Big Ben did knock off the rust so I do think he will be more effective from the beginning of the game vs Dallas. Hey, maybe hopefully we both win our picks for this game Smiley

Falcons PK @ Eagles

This is another opening line I jumped on right away. The Eagles are good at home, but the Falcons are a good road team and I think they have too much firepower for Philly to handle.

@ Giants -2.5 vs. Bengals

I missed the opening line of -2, but I think the Giants will still cover. The Bengals are bad in prime-time road games (1-7 straight up) since 2011, Dalton's rookie year. Also, the Bengals have never beat the Giants on the road (0-3).

tough games to figure out this week but I like one game to take early

Steelers ML over dallas

Steelers are a classic case of playing up or down to their competition. They play
crappy with bad teams but good enough to beat anybody. I think Big ben got
key reps last week off the injury and knocked the rust off. This is a huge game for
Pitt and Cowboy fans may be secretly rooting against the cowboys to get Romo back.

I just think the steelers get a win here to keep their playoff dreams alive.
