I dont like the eagles +5.  The first half last week they looked outmatched by a really bad redskins team.  I know the Falcons didnt look good either but they are not going to want to go 0-2 and that Falcons team can score points in bunches.  I'd be weary of teasing that game seems like a trap to me, good luck

Is it better to have 1 NFL thread like a discussion thread like the post above mine?. I agree that it is good to search in google about teaser but it is better to do both search and you give a brief breakdown for some people in my opinion. Let's see hoe your pick goes and I think i'll enjoy watching on how the game goes and the results.

I'm thinking that we need to start a NFL discussion thread like there was a few years ago on here. It died out because there wasn't much interest in the sport on here but I have created a new thread for the NFL as its one of my favourite sports to bet on. Good luck with the teaser mate and come check out the new NFL thread.

With week 1 of the NFL season coming to a close last night, we quickly look on to week 2. The interesting conversation will be, who just had a rusty week 1 and should we not freak out about and over-react. Bears and Browns come to mind.

Anyways, the point of this thread is I want to throw a teaser (a couple actually) together for next week and looking for some professional bitcoin talk opinions on my picks.

For those of you that dont know, you can simply Google search it or I'll give you a brief breakdown. A teaser is a parlay, of 2+ teams/games with the spread, but adjusting the spread based on the number of points. I personally have the options of +6, +6.5, and +7. FanDuel doesnt currently offer supers (+14?) Nor pleasers (-6).

Example for week 2:
KC -7.5
Baltimore -13
New England -18.5

On a +6 teaser, these lines get adjusted to:
KC -1.5
BAL -7
NE -12.5

If all 3 of these hold true, this would payout +160 or $100 bet to win $160 (and get your $100 back, $260 total). As mentioned, all teams need to win cover, if 1 loses, the whole teaser/parlay is shot.

These are a fun way to try and flip the tricky odds "in your favor" and hopefully not -- as the name suggests -- get teased...

---------

Okay, so let me get on with my picks here. I'm looking to do some sort of ladder
4 game lock (+250)
6 game (+600)
8 game (+1500)
10/11 game (+2500/+3500)

Games I like for my 4 game lock, I'm trying to win all obviously, but let's start with 4 to build off of.

Kansas City Chiefs -1.5 (this includes the teaser +6) @ Oakland.
How could you not like this pick? There were no signs of Patty and the Chiefs slowing down and I dont see why Oakland would be the start of that slowdown... they pretty much just have to win to cover this spread.

Arizona Cardinals @ Baltimore Ravens -7
I'm not convinced Arizona is getting enough points on the regular spread of 13, and theres no way they only lose by a touchdown (would be a push) here. We have the home opener for the Ravens who quite frankly put on a clinic vs. the Miami high school team they fielded. That being said, I'm not sold on the Baltimore offense just yet -- but the RB that takes the snaps proved he could throw and transitioned the R to a Q (QB if you're not following). I do however, love their defense. Ravens and Patriots defense might be 2 of the most underrated Ds in the league. This has to be a lock, right?

New England Patriots -12.5 @ Miami Dolphins
Following suit, the high school team is sure to get blown out... right? I will preface this by stating I am indeed a New England Patriots fan... that being said, my bias opinion is interesting here because I happen to think Miami is where the Patriots tend to struggle the most (all division games seem to be good/close). So I personally would love to stay away from this game, but a lot of people arent even convinced 18.5 points are enough for this Dolphins team -- coached by ex Patriots assistant Flores. Antonio Brown will likely be playing here, this has to be a blowout by 100 points right? At least this time we wont have Gronk in for another Miami Miracle...

So that gives me 3 picks that I happen to think are locks against the teaser, what should be the 4th? I like a lot of games, and what wont be in the top 4 will most likely be in the 6-game teaser...
Tampa Bay vs. Carolina Panthers -0.5
The Panthers struggled early against the Super Bowl representative Rams but had a late game comeback to lose by 3, and screw all of us who had them +2.5. Home opener here, against the Bucs where Jameis continues to look like a bust. All the Panthers have to do in this game is win... how don't they?

Chicago Bears +4.5 @ Denver Broncos
This is my first *no brainer* is a little confusing to me. How are the bears only slightly favored? The Broncos did nothing against the Raiders. The Bears and the Raiders arent even comparable on levels of talent. The concern is obviously their offense which again didnt show up on Thursday. Lots of rest and criticism though, this has to be a comeback right? In Denver makes it a bit tricky, however we are getting 4.5 points here...

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans -2.5
What a game last night... amazing comeback by Watson only to get shattered by Brees all within the last 53 seconds of the game -- thanks for hitting my Over 52.5 last night boys. Home opener here against a team that is once again lost. Defense was all the hype, but didnt have a chance against the Chiefs. Nick Foles knocked out of the game, but the backup didnt look awful? Texans have to win at home here and right the ship after the hurdle, dont think theres any questions to ask.

Now we have 2 (potential) power-house games here that I like.
Minnesota Vikings +9 @ Green Bay Packers
Seattle Seahawks +10 @ Pittsburgh Steelers
As you can see, we are getting big points for the dogs here. The first one, a division game, should be close as is. I'm not convinced after how the Vikings played that they wont win this one outright. But +9? This has to be a gimme... Green Bay will look to turn up on offense against another good defensive team, but I think itll be too many points with the tease.
The latter of the two, is an interesting one. Neither one had a particularly good showing week 1 -- one less than the other. The Seahawks squeaked out a win against Andy Dalton without AJ Green (in comes John Ross) and Pittsburgh was still trying to find Antonio Brown. Juju isnt it for the Steelers, hes not the #1 guy, flourishes as a number 2. We will see if he can adjust. We are getting 10 points here for the Seahawks, who again, could win outright. I dont know how we ever pick the Steelers here or lose by MORE THAN 10.

So theres 8 games.
Some other ones I like, with no analysis:
Los Angeles Chargers +3.5 @ Detroit Lions
New Orleans Saints +9 @ Los Angeles Rams
Philadelphia Eagles +5 @ Atlanta Falcons

----

4-Game Teaser
Ravens -7
Chiefs -1.5
Patriots -12.5
Panthers -0.5

6-Game Teaser
Texans -2.5
Vikings +9

8-Game Teaser
Bears +4.5
Seahawks +10

10/11-Game Teaser
Saints +9
Chargers +3.5

Let me know your thoughts!
Rest of the games not mentioned, I dont like and am staying far away. Note, you can also add Overs/Unders -- I just liked these spreads.
