Total typo wreck here, sorry for the confusion, the supplier I found "advertised" his products @ <50000mW. I researched on lasers with Google, 50000 mW is not the REAL output! Most countries ban anything over 1 mW, think customs would have a field day with a "50000mW hand held laser, LOL
Actual output is about 1.5W though. Although I did not add < as the supplier actually added <50000mW.

Oh wow I just misread it too because there was no comma. You probably have one too many zeros, because those batteries will not supply a 50,000mW to the laser. Also that housing does not look like it can dissipate ~50w of heat.

Yes, 50 watts (50,000mW) is horseshit. These lasers are likely in the 1-2W range. Possibly lower depending on the diode used.
