Best advice now is to keep your daughters creating art, as much as possible, and then also think about how they want to digitalize them.

Do they want to sell entire pieces of art? Create unique pieces that have multiple pieces to have different NFTs combine?

Then when you are ready, go look for the NFT communities for artists.

Expect to be disappointed unless you find a niche people love however:)

Just create an NFT, itll cost you 500$ in gas and then you call sell it.  its just an ETH contract.  selling art makes no sense with NFT.  unless you sell the rights to the said art.  why buy a god damn jpg who knows

Because some people have taste differently, to you it may appear unreasonable but to others who have much love for art would not mind how much it cost, i would rather buy an art from the exhibition than to buy an nft imo, with real art much effort has been put in making it hence will have much value, just my perrsonal opinion.

I am following Turkish artist over twitter who mints nft art. He is making a lot of money. If they are talented and passionate nft is awesome way to create income. And you can become very productive with great money flow.

I have just had similar thinking about what NFTin blockchain technology actually is, I have come across the word almost all of the defi projects which I think it's a means and actual method of collateral, I read some little explanable article about it, I will quote is here for you for easy understanding of what it is, you can follow up the link if you find it more interesting.

You Can Now Use NFTs as Collateral for a Crypto Loan
NFTs are here to stay. That much is obvious. But what’s not so obvious is what to do with an NFT that you can’t sell.
Say you bought a fine piece of digital art for 3 ETH - that’s about $5,600 at the time of writing - and you plan on selling it for 3.5 ETH.
But no one is lining up to buy.
What do you do with your art now? If you sell it then you’re allowing for a potentially huge loss. So why not use it as collateral for a crypto loan?
This is just a clear picture of what NFT is all about, click the link if you wan to read further.

Just imagine a unique identifier for your art. Making a limited edition that can be deemed valuable to another person could rake up some serious cash in NFT. If you are respected and see that you have great art skills, it would be great to auction it off.

It's like how traditional collecting works but digital. You invest the value you think a certain art has.

My daughters are great artists and I've been reading about NFT's.  Can someone with experience with NFTs explain how this works from your perspectives?

The system is the same as art in the real world. You can create an NFT at https://murall.art/ and sell your work on Opensea.io, you can charge whatever price you want, if someone is interested, your work can be sold.

The only problem was how the heck you will find buyer on a market that full of thousands or millions of existing NFT.  You need to make your NFT unique and with some limited edition feature that's why most NFT projects are spending tons of money for marketing or having copyright of well known brand just to integrate it on NFT.

NFT nowadays is not only for art. It's a game of money which only reach can afford or win.

NFTs create unique identity to each token after it is created so it is mot possible to clone an NFT that is why digital arts using NFTs are selling over millions but its too much on hype for such simple picture but in future someone who is really good artist can create an unique pic and it can't be forfeited anymore.

The OP can look at this site - https://curio.cards/. Just an example where they can use their talent. Though this one is not selling anymore but maybe they can contact the artist how they are selling now their works. Also, if he wants, just create your own NFT, there are several links posted above already and see if you are willing to create your own spending some money. But who knows, you can sell it for good price.
Lot of sites popped up and allowing creators to upload their art on NFT even without any fee and allowing to set their own conditions and price to sell the art but someone who is just a common man cannot find a good price for his art, he should be a renowned artist to make millions.

Many people are willing to spend millions of dollars to own a video, a digital picture, even a virtual real estate ... in the form of NFT. It's the craze in this space, I think you as well as my friends have a special interest, honestly I don't appreciate these products.

You can read it for more information https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-fungible_token

It doesn't just you will create an art, NFT will cost you some budget too since it's a type of investment. I agree ETH is not achievable if the cost of gas fees will always at spike but I think there are other chains that are already adopting with this hyped NFT, my guess is that only few will survive. Who expects tweets can be sold?

That’s too much cost and there’s a good platform that is much lower compare to this.
NFT is the trend today, if you’re good in art and have a unique talent with this one, you can start using Rarible so far this is more friendly compare to the other platform. The cost of gas will depend on the market, if there’s too much traffic on ETH, then expect a higher fees.

You can search for the "how to" for NFTS and what they really are.

Just like these articles.

https://www.benzinga.com/money/how-to-make-your-own-nft/

https://opensea.io/blog/digital-art/the-beginners-guide-to-creating-selling-digital-art-nfts/

And on opensea, it's one of the popular marketplace for nft.

Non-fungible Token (NFT), also commonly referred to as crypto collectibles. Unlike other tokens / coins, where all tokens are created equally, NFT is a type of cryptographic token on the blockchain that represents a unique asset.
as for how it works and its use, you can read this article
