Unfortunately, no real discussion has unfolded here on the actual topic, that I think it is better to close the thread.

What can be said from the posts so far is that there are many who believe that the NFT hype is not over yet. That surprised me, since many indicators clearly point to it.

That was a pretty short hype, but you can state that the NFT hype is over. This can be measured most clearly by the prices for NFT projects and NFT tokens. If you take Chilliz, for example, the price has collapsed by 75% from the high. In comparison, Bitcoin is currently valued around 45% lower from its high.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?

Didn't Bitcoin collapse a couple of times because nobody really knew how it is going forward? I am quite sure we haven't even scratched the surface for NFTs at this point in time as much as we haven't scratched the surface of Bitcoin in 2015.
Maybe it was but couldn't deny that these projects are just relying on Bitcoin. We are becoming hopeful that NFT's will stay in good shape but as long as the entire market isn't bullish, so we can never expect such a thing.
And another factor is that we can't expect investors will invest in NFT's projects. Why? They need some proof that these projects are worth to invest.

I dont think nft hype is done. NFTs uses case is too many. We can use NFTs for games property ownership, ticket, or even real land ownership. NFTs for games it self did not reach its full potential. Imagine if games like CSGO and Dota 2 used NFTs which is good for their community, because the item price is so expensive and many website use the item for gamble. This is why NFTs will stay here for next decade as long as blockchain used.

The NFTs hype has not over yet. The silence is because of Bitcoin's low price. When BTC will go up, all NFTs token will take their value back and maybe NFTs hype increases. And people will again take Interest in NFTs Tokens.

These NFTs collapsing are shitcoins. Hypes around altcoins like that are known for not lasting long and causing a lot of losses for investors. But I think we can't say NFT as a whole is over for that reason. There are many promising NFTs around and I would say the best NFTs weren't even created or launched yet, because it's a very recent phenom.
It will be a huge success when mainstream gaming industry adopt NFT technology and it will work in a sustainable way, not being necessary to rely in ephemeral hypes to thrive, like bitcoin.

I don't think that hype has even started yet. Can you name any NFT which hyped in the recent past? I would rather say that the meme hype has come to an end nd now the time has come for NFT to show its true potential.
Different people might be having different opinion but I'm sure any of these hype will sustain for long time or at least for end of this year whereas bitcoin hype will get back to in its original shape again and that will last until next year and if you are really looking for making good money then you should go for investing only with bitcoins rather than looking for any other short-term hypes.

In my opinion also, NFT hype has already been done. Now it would be the best time for getting back to bitcoin investments by ignoring all others.

For me the hype is not yet over since we didn't yet see the full potential or the super hype of NFT. Actually, it is possible that NFT is just about to begin since there are a lot of projects now are related with NFT. So, not yet over.
Yes, it's definitely not over yet, but NFT hasn't fully started this month either, so there's still something new to look forward to and that would be a very useful surprise for NFT, as there's been a lot of positive response to NFT at this point.
I think I read some readings a few days ago, if I'm not mistaken at the crypto bloomberg that NFT is still very popular today. maybe only the bitcoin trend is slightly down, but not for NFT

I don't think that NFT Hype is over. The best is yet to be seen, it is comparatively very new market and passing through consolidation phase, next week when Binnacle will launch NFT Market then we may see a Huge Rally. We all know that Binance is the other name Success in crypto space.  Cool Cool Cool

https://www.binance.com/en/blog/421499824684901995/Introducing-Binance-NFT-A-Groundbreaking-NFT-Marketplace-Launching-June-2021
I also think that the momentum of NFT is just being built at this time.
besides binance currently, several exchanges for the NFT project are also developing.
even in some of the social media communities that I follow, some deliberately continue to collect NFT.
those who know how to use it well, I think understand how to get the benefits that can be obtained. I believe this will continue for the long term.

In fact the NFT is perfect technology.

For long NFT hype it need a good project with strong ideological core that bring a real value to the world. The real value that is available to measure through money flows, social impacts and etc.

We sure the NFT era is only in the beginning, the good project will come. For example we have create a new one for eBook & Audiobook markets with perfect potencial of 27% CAGR and US $36 billion global market.

So we sure the NFT hype is not ending but in pause. A good projects arise in pause time. After pause the fantastic time coming to growing fast in the new unique directions as for new ideas as for community.

We will be glad for your comments about our ideas, please visit topic https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-future-of-defi-5344683

TBH, it is very hard to predict which hype will be the next one. Nobody expected that DeFi will be that popular and at the same time, nobody expected that DEX'es and NFT will be creating these huge hype around it. Its hard to predict but whatever it is, I will wait for it Smiley.

while I think that NFT hype is not over yet, it is here to stay, there are signs what the next hype will be, and that are IoT projects with practical purpose
there are several projects at the moment, and they should thrive till the end of the year

do not take this as an advice, but look into it, and do your own analysis

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
Well as many hypes are happening with crypto, there will always be time that they will end and NFT hype surely is over already.
On the other hand, there are still coins related to NFT that are still popular right now like AXS or CHZ or ENJ but its obvious that the price of it is lower compare to where it was months ago. In general, the hype isn't there anymore but still the project is still running and there is a community around it and the hype helped them to stay alive.

TBH, it is very hard to predict which hype will be the next one. Nobody expected that DeFi will be that popular and at the same time, nobody expected that DEX'es and NFT will be creating these huge hype around it. Its hard to predict but whatever it is, I will wait for it Smiley.

yes like every platform this one has a big potential and i can wait to see my holding climbing to more than 3 folds at least.
i think it's not difficult for you to get the lowest profit x3, the last drop of the market had a lot of NFT coins falling sharply and i see it as a good opportunity to accumulate more favorite coins.
Yes, it's really good to take the opportunity now to collect some NFT coins, because usually after the decline, there is always a big increase and the late ones won't get anything and will always regret it.
must remember that nft is different to erc20, each nft is unique and the price usually based on each NFT as an individual coin not based on the general price of a coin like erc20 or even real cryptocurrency.
therefore buying nft at the dip could be risky if you can't really judge the real value of an NFT.
however if it's generic NFT like for example slp of axie then maybe it's still profitable to buy around the dip, otherwise nft is just a harder option to make some flipping.

People are keeping their hopes up for Binance to vitalize things for the NFT market. As we know, Binance will start this service in this month. But we are halfway June and there is still no fresh news about it as far as I know.

NFT games are still kicking and doing their best to stay still, there might be some dip on hyped NFTs but its good that we have a great project for NFTs. NFT art might be on a big hype before but I don't think its over already, it just happen that the market is going into bear trend but if its a good NFT I believe it still worth holding for.
NFT games takes a lot of developments before it become fully recognized. NFT games are in development pace right now, most of the best games are under developments right now and others are recently conduct their pre-sale to gather more funds to upgrade their systems to develop the best NFT games. Next year will be the best year for the NFT games. As you can see, Axie infinity has a good start right now gathering most of its players in middle class countries where people need to earn money. Binance recently launched their NFT platform in their website we'll see in the next couple of weeks how this platform will create new hype in the crypto space.

There is more to NFT that meet the eye, to be honest I've not seen any interesting use case compare to NFT this year, I prefer NFT than crypto DeFi projects and also those Swap platforms, I believe this is just the beginning for NFT project sooner or later you will all understand, drops in value is a must as all crypto projects except stable coins are highly volatile

Don't be so sure that NFT hype is over yet.  Grin  Because Binance is on the way to open a NFT market also in this month. I'm expecting it to draw a really big attention of people. But after some time, the hype will be over eventually I think.
it eventually just gonna be another category for blockchain based things. maybe in the future NFT art in general gonna compete with patreon or the likes where artist could get incentivized from membership or selling art, it's basically the same thing
except with NFT we could literally automatize everything and set the fee for the market place significantly lower compared to the existing art platform that are centralized and rather charging too high with strict rules imposed.

Not just chiliz even dego finance has really drop in price from ath, i think this is mostly as a result of the current dip in price of the whole market, i think the trend is very much alive only things are forced to a stand steel because of btc price is down, recently i read a piece from DMan (blockchain whispers) which made me think NFT still have a future especially for long term, hype does not really determine the longevity of a particular trend, the hype may be less but the reality of it still persist.

We need to have a multiyear bear market before we have the next shit coin hype. The hype will come only when the whales accumulate enough coins to dump on the newcomers. If that doesn't happen, there won't be a next time.

Every time they come up with a new idea though, it becomes harder and harder to invent something else.

NFT was already over the top crazy and many people didn't buy into that scam.

I think NFT has more than just artistict designs to be sold at extraordinary prices. NFT has a value but the are is still unexplored.
Art and drawings is just the tip of the iceberg. May be in future we might see how people bring innovative ways to use NFTs.
The NFT hype may be settled for now but it's definitely not over yet.

I bet PoS project maybe will be the next hype, the last mention from Elon that he need a environmental friendly cryptocurrency coin could be a clue for it.
For my bet, i pick EOS.

If PoS starts the next craze then I would place by bets on Solana. I think  it's better than EOS and any other PoS coins out there.

But Solana already recovered, if i have money, i wont spend much money on it.
I will spare the fund to IRIS, WAN, and EOS. Both are still undervalued and not recovered yet.

What exactly do you mean by Solana is already recovered ?
If you mean that the price is already high then you can either way for a correction or buy it and start staking to get better returns.
Anyway, that's your personal choice. Whatever you put your money in, make sure to do a good research before putting your money in them.

wont it be fair if you compare btc to hyped projects ? obviously btc wont go too deep as much as the hype projects can go when their term is over .
i dont have a clue if what will be the next to nft but id be glad if there will be no next because this can make the scams lesser ,
less bloated market and more attenion will be given to the original cryptos .

I don't think it's over though, although the market is red, it's pretty obvious that we are in the bear trend now. Even bitcoin and ethereum wasn't spare from the down trend.

And as per cmc: https://coinmarketcap.com/view/collectibles-nfts/, there is still a market for it. And the hype around NFT will be dead if there is a new one, but so far we haven't seen anything yet, so NFT still goes on.

NFT hype may seem to be over,  but you will soon begin to see it trending all over again in a very short while!  Thing about Cryptocurrency is, trend usually does not die,  it will resurface in the future. There are many designated usescases of coin or token that could trend,  from meme to nft, Dex,  defi,  staking,  launchpad,  anonymous dark chain,  to just about anything useful or entertaining! Cryptocurrency is very useful in various ways and when it is fully adopted,  creativity will abound!

its not over yet, even binance will launch in near time.
Binance launching an NFT market place still won't make NFT trend again, there are already tons of NFT marketplaces in the crypto market, why is Binance NFT marketplace any different? I think it's about time we accept that NFTs are no longer getting the hype and attention it used to get  when it newly started trending, one thing we must accept in life is that everything has an end, every trend will come to an end, just like ICO was trending in 2017 and now it's no longer trending.
ICO had been done so long ago while NFT is just about to start. The more it has a market promotion, the more it increases investors and moves the price high. However, if we think about hypes, that only happens when Bullrun has come and it was unfortunate that it was over already.
I'm not sure but NFT hypes will something to happen next Bullrun and have to wait for it.

Well, it’s now like a regular thing for community; every new idea that comes into the market gets hyped and after that, they all fade and people stop investing and talking about them again.

Well, it’s not like it is completely gone, they are still going to be function, but they are now going to be at the level where they are meant to be. It is a normal thing for new things to get hyped and the hype is what results to the very high value they get. When the hype is over, they fall to the real value that they are supposed to be at. It’s the same thing that happened other ideas that came before NFT.

Seems the financial aspect created much of the hype. There wasn't too many publicity about the technology and its fundamentals. That would have been more existing for people who know what they are here (crypto space) for... or people who are here for the technology and ideals. Same thing I expect people to be talking about DeFi .  Seems they are more fixated on the financial part.

I would not say that. There are some new technologies in crypto which did not get much hype (or at least not yet). The DAG technology  (directed acyclic graphs instead of a single chain of blocks) for example comes straight to my mind. Another one are side chains. Great idea but projects who have implemented it yet have not really got hyped.

I think there is still time. The initial hype has subsided a bit and most people don't see it as a good investment choice. But still something that's just at the beginning is nft. It's normal to lose popularity for a while after the hype is gone. What matters is how the next process will go.
If nft can really be integrated into our lives, there may be a long road ahead Smiley

looks to me nft is just getting started. As for the decline that has occurred regarding NFT products, you think it's over, it's only partially, because now many NFT projects are booming when the market falls.
for the next hype I don't know, but I will never get carried away by any hype before doing my research first.
NFT has a tons of future mate  , and yeah this was just started mate and i believe that in the middle of everything it is still NFT projects will bloom once again.

also my groups are looking very positive on these one and they even keeping their holding from NFT network up to date.
I don't think this trend is over, and it's still happening. NFT has created its own hype in this market, and there are not many projects that clearly show NFT's role in this market, and in the near future when the completion is more prepared, I think the NFT market will explode again.
yes like every platform this one has a big potential and i can wait to see my holding climbing to more than 3 folds at least.

I don't think it's over yet, Axie Infinity which offering NFT-Games concept still on Hype especially on my country but yeah the several other NFT Projects experienced a decline. Well from my perspective Decentralized CDN & Decentralized Storage will become the next hype although it has existed for a long time but has not yet reached its peak, Simple example is the current COVID-19 Pandemic where various information is censored, The increase in the use of Aweave Decentralized Storage continues to increase as well as several other projects such as Storj, BTFS.

I think the hype of NFT is not yet over just because we are having a bearish market, NFT hype is just starting , there are also lots of new NFT that could blow up in the future when we say the the bullish market comes.
I really really wish you are right actually, how i wish the bullish season still existed, but i am not as optimistic as you are. I think the bull is gone, the NFT hype is gone too, and what the next hype is may be needs 2~3 years later then we would know the answer.

I don't think this trend is over, and it's still happening. NFT has created its own hype in this market, and there are not many projects that clearly show NFT's role in this market, and in the near future when the completion is more prepared, I think the NFT market will explode again.

The next trend was not yet predictable. I guess the DEFI will become the trend that will be last forever. Despite the downtrend that was happening with the NFT and DEFI can still exist in the market and it was doing more and more expansion. NFT is very similar like cryptokitties and this was a short term trend for sure.
I guess DEFI and maybe a new innovation that will come soon.

I think the hype of NFT is not yet over just because we are having a bearish market, NFT hype is just starting , there are also lots of new NFT that could blow up in the future when we say the the bullish market comes.

Actually i didn't feel the hype yet, just heard a few news booming like people are talking about the exotic painting from europe become an NFT million dollars worth. This kind of system is so taboo and hard to implement to whole crypto ecosystem. People also think this NFT could become a bubble that's why not many people trying to involved to this hype.

NFT hype isn't over, no publication of someone buying an NFT art for millions of dollar doesn't mean the NFT market is dead, NFT is developing and is in pretty rapid pace. There are many NFT innovations still in development. But i'm really expecting NFT to somehow takeover the gaming world whether by the community making quality decentralized game through the use of NFT or NFT adoption in various gaming sector. The future of NFT looks pretty bright imo, it's just that the market rather showing its real circumstance instead of over glorified NFT art always being shown.

Is that true that the hype of NFT has been over? I am not sure about this because recently Binance also rises up the NFT programs and this will make NFT booming again. We know the power of Binance to make something also hype.
But yeah the time will pass by and someday NFT will be over, like Defi and also other types of crypto projects. That is why we must be smarter in utilizing any kinds of chances for taking profits and also chances for obtaining more income from them.
we are still in early phase for nft trend, alot of new project now building their nft platform . moreover binance will launched their nft project too, it mean we will get booster again to continue this trend. as long as NFT , DEFI or any type of project still have usecase in crypto market ecosystem, demand will maintain for long term.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
None, the hype will happen again in the next Bullrun.
But Maybe, If there is someone like Elon who could shill one of the NFT projects might be possible.

Anyway,
The market price just dumps, time to buy more coins. We don't just focus on NFT projects as their story was done together with the hypes is over. So for now, it was more desirable to invest those potential altcoins for long-term investment. Yeah, we might wait for another 4 years before the new ATH arrives.

You are too early to claim it, the hype is not ever yet. Determining the hype ends by analyzing the prices of the tokens, is a weak reason, mate. The big drop in NFT token prices can be caused by the huge decline in BTC value. It can increase again along with the increase of BTC price in the next few weeks/months. For me, as long as there are some new NFT projects, the hype isn't over yet.

Dedi is still there to pick up from the last bus stop of NFT .
But I literally don't think the season of NFTs are over yet I'll say is due to the fact that the market is bearish that's the reason for the fall of many NFT tokens and they is no much hype currently on any  big project because of the bear period but I know this year is bullish and the bulls will take the market soon is just a mater of time, when the market recovers I promise you'll hear more NFT hype.

Don't be so sure that NFT hype is over yet.  Grin  Because Binance is on the way to open a NFT market also in this month. I'm expecting it to draw a really big attention of people. But after some time, the hype will be over eventually I think.

Its not over, but its not hype anymore since its not much talked as before. I
m not sure it will draw big attention anymore, the hype will change to another kind.

I think so too. especially so far, the general public is not very familiar with the real function of the NFT, where we know that now many public figures or artists are collaborating with NFT for their work. This is very interesting, especially since the giant Binance is starting to build its NFT ecosystem. With such a large community, it is certain that this Binance breakthrough will make quite a big wave.
trends are constantly changing, we must always be prepared to adapt to changes. looks like Nft will still be developing, maybe the connection with the game will be the next trend.

I'd love to see how BSC network tokens would be the second one to establish hype in next season. While there's a resistance for bitcoin together with other promising alts, it seems that there's a random outbreak that might happen. For now, we just need to calm down while hoping for the best target that's expected to commence sooner.

The kind of hypes based on nothing but speculations is gone in regard to NFT but the real market for NFT will always be there. The problem is that everybody just ride on the hypes and of course it can never be sustained. Just like art, the value is always on what the market will be willing to buy and when the market is down you can expect the same to happen to NFT in general. However, as one expert has said, NFT will continue and there will always be growth in many niches as we will be seeing soon. Now, one trend is that everybody has suddenly become NFT creators or should I say pretend to be artists...and this alone can drive the market down but when it comes to real artists this can become a new arena they can explore and if they can be able to bring their loyal fans into the NFT marketplace then we can be able to see real and sustainable boom in here.

To continue the hype around the NFT, a bull market is needed. If a bear market is developing now, rather than a correction before a further bull run, we will have to wait a very long time for the market to recover. But we can't ignore the fact that Binance has already announced the launch of the Binance-NFT marketplace on June 24, which will definitely bring back the hype for NFT.

NFT is over for those who are just looking in a single tree and not the whole forest.

NFT is not a thing that can avoid the effect of the Bitcoin crash so just like other altcoins, Defi, etc. expect that there's also a sales declined throughout the NFT marketplace but it doesn't mean it will stay the same.

Checking the current stats, for example in the Wax Market, the 24h volume is playing at around 3.7M WAX/$600.5K (at the current exchange rate). Not bad amid the current trend. Also, there are projects that undergoing sales recently and just got sold within just seconds to few minutes.

We can just conclude if NFT hype is over once we see everything is rising again from Bitcoin to sh*coins but the NFT marketplace remains as it is.

Blockchain games? they've been there since years ago but only a few gained that much attention from everyone. Like Axie Infinity and the other, that's starting to become known is My Defi Pet.

I still haven't played any of those nor invested but I'm planning my strategy of getting in first to Axie Infinity. That daily SLP reward is quite good if collected every day.

That's just based on my strategy plan. It may look good to me but not for others.

Axie infinity has become a thing now as there were a lot of investors expanding their investments by offering scholarships for those who can't afford stronger axies.
I think the next hype for NFT will be more focused on blockchain games than those expensive digital arts.
And you're right, My Defipet has been catching some attention for the late comers in the Axie Infinity game.

I might say, it's too early to say that the NFT hype has cooled down. Let's wait till the market recovers.
That's right.

There's more with blockchain games than those NFTs because they're quite expensive in valuation and you have to sell it. Unlike with blockchain games, there are some daily rewards that are acceptable if you are only playing it for fun but at the same time there's an investment involve for you to generate profit.

Well for some, maybe. But for most of the people, NFT really is something that is worth every penny. Specially for gamers nowadays who not only enjoys playing games that provide returns of investment but also for those who are into arts or arts that are unique in nature. Which is why I think that the NFT hype is so far from being over. And since this NFT thing is so new and can be seen by the masses as the new innovative trend with so much potential, I really do not understand as to why you think and a few others think that the hype isn't there anymore. Although hype was never needed by NFT anyway since it has a wide variety of uses.

We cannot further conclude that because of the declination on the prices of NFT, the hype is already over for it because many people are still currently into supporting NFT even here at my place NFT is still on a big hype among crypto and common people due to popularity it have set into standard. Maybe we are just seeing the downside right now but we cannot therefore conclude that the hype is already dead for there are still plenty of time to regain possession as long as people are supporting it.

nft not over yet, its still the beginning. more people interested to create their own nft which is could be the unique thing from him. now there are alot nft project builded around the world and good news is more public figure involved to this project. they will give positive influence to nft project and crytpo market commonly.

This is what I'm still trying to believe too since many great artist are still not entering the NFT industry. There is a lot of potential on NFT market considering the vast use of it. It just happened that Bitcoin pulls the whole market while NFT based project received the most price growth on this bullrun that's why they the one who's heavily affected on this dump.

Just like what i said in other threads related to NFT that it's not over yet and it's just the starting of NFT era. As whole market is on correction mode, everyone busy with accumulating more bitcoin or altcoins and that could be the reason for not having that much trading volume on NFT marketplace and nothing else. So, lets just wait for the recover of the whole market and NFT market will be hyped up again just like previous, IMHO.

I don't think it is over current market condition is not good even we have seen a collapse in all major cryptocurrencies. I believe NFT second wave would come again when BTC will start rising again. The whole market is down and we can not expect only NFT will perform in this condition so we should be patient for some time before coming to any conclusion.

I believe, NFT hype is not yet over. It is just in the initial phase.
Athletes, singers and other personalities are just starting to discover their huge potential as a source of their income.
Just look at the few articles below, and I think, this will grow in the coming years.
This will be like an advanced tech to connect with their fans, which can be either expensive or cheap.
But right now, it seems they are fetching high prices in the market.
Maybe, later on, they can sell NFTs at economical price so they can reach more audience and fans.

There are several stages on most new technologies. While the NFT hype may be over for the moment it does not mean that it will not come back in terms of reaching the real utility. There is quite a bit of literature about the hype cycle and the technology adoption. I am personally convinced that the NFT are actually quite useful, but they have been misused and now will go through the valley of disappointment for a long time before some good projects appear.

Honestly I never switch over to any other investments but always sticking within bitcoin investments and hype. This is the reason, I guess I never need to worry on which is going to produce 10x or 100x next and what is going to get delisted. I agree people risk on altcoins and getting good returns but when considering the risk reward ratio, I guess I am doing better with my ONLY-BTC investments.

I mean, I am watching few of my friends who invested on more than 10 altcoins and they got good returns from 1 or 2 coins which may compensate the total capital required to invest in all 10 altcoins but I do believe their luck may not favor them always and with their next attempt they may fail to find that 2 altcoins as well. This is why I believe just investing only with bitcoin investments will get me good returns in long run and relatively with less risks even bitcoin is doing with its usual wild volatility.

there are still many coins that are trying to ride nft train but it is over from what I can see. I am still not sure what people are buying when they buy digital artwork in the form of nft. It couldn't last for a long time. I guess nft can still has some use in games .. other than that I can't think of any other use for it.

next trend seems to be tokens with supplies in trillions.

So far, there are still a lot of new projects coming out that will develop in the NFT sphere, and therefore we can still say that the NFT sphere is still popular, but until when the NFT sphere will be popular is unknown, therefore, it will soon be very dangerous to invest in NFT projects, since the hype around NFT will soon fall and therefore we need to look for new projects that are not related to NFT and in general I think a new hype is expected already very soon.

those investing in NFT-based defi tokens are the hardest hit

Funny how all that NFT hype passed by me. I got few NFT tokens and that is it. I never had time and interest to sort out deeply in NFT and its real usage. Hope that people managed to earn a lot from it. To me it was like baseball or pokemon cards. I only remember how NFT tweet and few Times first pages in NFT were sold for an unbelievably high prices. I'm really looking forward to see what market will figure out new to earn. We had ICO/IEO/DEFI/NFT. Next one I'm sure is going to be something that people will use in SMM.

Too early to say NFT hype is over, because NFT project is much better than memecoin. Many of NFT project has use case and given alot of benefits to many different industry, like Gaming, Digital art, animation and others. Content creator  get alot of benefits from this technology because they can create NFT and sell it to the public. With more use case, the total of marketcap for NFT coins will increase rapidly.

I don't think it is over, the hype will return again with Binance NFT market. Introducing Binance NFT, A Groundbreaking NFT Marketplace Launching June 2021

Bitcoin will have another all time high. I don't know when but it won't be the next 4 years. It can happen in next 5 months or next 7 months. NFT market and NFT hype can not return if Bitcoin won't make its new all time high or minimally come back to $50k to $60k.

Cross-chain/multi-chain will be the next hype. AMM platforms with cross-chain swap ability will rise.

PS: I don't think NFT hype is over yet. Just wait until Jun 24th to see Binance releases its NFT market place. NFT niche now is a mess and Binance's market will unite it.

Hype will only create a lot of poor versions of that which has become popular or that which started it all. It is always good to just wait for the hype to die down. That also means the risk has been lowered down as well. Those that will remain after the hype is over are the ones which could be considered the credible projects. This is true in all other hypes.

I see it's only just begun, and I have faith that this trend will continue to explode in the near future when major brokers offer services for this field.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
What reference you have for this? I dont think NFT hype is over and its just getting started. There are more upcoming fundamental news that will surely make nft a top hit crypto sidelime again. If you knew Binance will launch its nft marketplace and this means a lot on nft industry and projects. Im sure there will be some hype created over this when they launch this month.
This is the most anticipated NFT marketplace, we all know the hype on getting listed on Binance, I'm sure it will become big despite of the market condition right now. NFT hype is over for the shit projects but if its good, updates will come to attract more investors, and not just a pure hype. You have to look for good NFTs now.

Hype is over but it doesn't mean it ended the story.
They are still there and some projects are still doing great up until now.
I also doubt there will be a new hype anytime soon with people still crazy about playing NFT games and collecting cards.
They will still be busy about it and may not notice even when something new arrives.

Instead of a new hype what do we expect will happen with our old cryptocurrencies? Bitcoin and Ethereum.
I bet investors will be going back buying them considering a chance of a pump with NFT's in a calm situation.

It's not yet over. An Italian artist even sold a statue art that's invisible for $18000. Most artists to come I guess the celebrities haven't yet come out. I remember there is a thread here about Paris Hilton wearing laser eyes which her tweet was related to NFT. We have to wait first for the celebrities to join and release their own. And also there are still new NFT projects coming out with new concepts actually. Its not going away just like DEFI.

We can't judge it's over, but it's not as popular and insane as it was a few weeks ago.
The market needed a correction period, so it is not unlikely that we will return to the previous levels and break them, but not all currencies will succeed in breaking those peaks.

Even ICO/IEO/HardFork has a little noisy, but it's getting cold.

This NFT hype could rise back soon when the Bitcoin price got bullish, I believe this NFT bussiness is one of a tools to do money laundery so it will be hype again soon.
For the next hype, it could be back to DeFi hype maybe. I see theres so many new Dex on BSC Platform...

I bet PoS project maybe will be the next hype, the last mention from Elon that he need a environmental friendly cryptocurrency coin could be a clue for it.
For my bet, i pick EOS.
