Personally, I see the prospect of using NFT in casinos in several ways:

1. NFTs allow for increased bonuses
2. NFT allows you to receive a portion of the casino income.
3. NFT allows you to play games not available to regular users
4. NFT allows you to play a certain number of games for free each week.
5. NFTs must be a strictly defined number, they must be won in the casino and traded on one of the known NFT-platforms

If casino NFTs have a few of these attributes then they will be in demand.

Well in that sense you are absolutely right, besides the NFT would be something different because in the same way it represents money and would partly help many players not to fall into an addiction problem, that this problem has been growing notably, however from the point of From a technology point of view, I would like to say that everything related to NFTs would be rescued, and many people have a bad perception, especially because of what happened in 2021 with a whole series of crypto game NFTs that robbed many investors.

Good point! What I like about this approach is that it would be not necessary for NFT itself to be valuable, to cost thousands USD in ETH on opensea. I mean, at first, of course, because later, if this gambling site is popular, and everything's working like you described, such an NFT will surely become valuable.

Yes that's right!

NFT is a non-fungible token.  In other words, it is a unique digital asset that gives a certain set of rights in a certain segment of the virtual world (in particular, in an online casino).

There are many options for additional player rights that the NFT can certify.  For an online casino, own NFT is a great solution.

This is due to the fact that online casinos are not part of the real, but of the virtual (digital) world.

NFT only makes sense in the virtual world.  It certifies "digital" rights.

I think that what they are looking for is to access NFT technology because it has some advantages when it comes to investing in their NFTs when it comes from a company or project, I think that the ease for a project is that they can move their NFTs and generate volume With NFTs, it is very easy to bet on slots in any currency or even FIAT money, but as for NFTs it is different, it is the way you can get them to life, but according to the experience of some players it is not good at all, In my personal opinion, I don't see it as bad, if what some are looking for in slots is to have fun, it's not bad.
Yes, it is seems that their main priority here is nft but they only use the slot games as a secondary prospect to make this idea more successful. It looks like they are serious and research everything in regard to nft's and they figured out that many people still don't like it but many people like slot games. They think that combining the two would be a good idea and maybe this is the only way for the people to start liking nft's and know their true potentials. They will soon know that nft's is not just a useless jpeg image or a gif file but there's more to it.

Our opinion is more important. We shouldn't judge the project easily just because someone says it is not good. Every people has a different tastes.

In the article, it says the collection that's needed are Jungle Animal Collection and the OG Collection[1] which I think is associated from the casino itself.

Sure the concept is pretty new when it comes to slot machines, but the fact that other established casino have implemented the use of NFT's in exchange for varieties of rewards isn't new.

[1] https://mint.luckydegens.com/
Oh so it's like how rollbit uses their NFT, casino users have perks and whatnot depending on the NFT they own. Nothing new there indeed, I suppose I wanted them to have something else other than that. Especially since I think NFTs from the spins would probably be less effective or has fewer benefits than the minted ones (which is natural imo). Maybe make it as a consumable type instead? Though I guess idk, that defeats the idea of an NFT?

According to the source a crypto website have launched a new NFT which comes with free slots for the holders for UpTo 50 times per day and you can also own new NFT by playing that machine as well !
Quote
The OG Collection will launch on 24 June 2022, while the Jungle Animal Collection will follow with a July 2022 release planned. New Jungle Animal NFTs will then be released monthly up until January 2023.

Due to US gambling laws, Lucky Crypto and Lucky Degens are restricted for US residents.

I found this concept a bit different,  they are trying to build the whole concept around Metaverse with adding the NFT concept as well, I think this is quite different and would like to know the thoughts regarding this, would you play? Would you own the NFT, it's good to see the casinos coming up with new ideas.

It never clear to me what NFT slot machine is this, anyhow for me it sounds good to me in some other way. Like free slot for the holders
up to 50 times per day, what if out of 50 times the players win 25 times, is that convertible into a crypto or real money, just asking?
And you never give the exact website of this slot machine dude, or I just missed it only.

If the market will be flooded with tons of new animal NFTs that gamblers get for free the price for them will likely be 0.
It isn't free if gamblers have to spend a fuckton of their money simply to get an NFT. So, in a manner, the idea of having a chance to win an NFT as one of the casino's main rewards still combines the principles of supply and demand because they have some monetary value associated with them most especially that additional free spins will be given if you own one.

Right now it's not the best time to talk about the value of any crypto related asset, NFT included, but there's a good chance that this situation will change for better because it's not for the first time we find ourselves floating in the minimum range of that sine wave. Since it's a wave, we are inevitably going up after reaching some minimum turning point, and then many crypto assets, if not most of them, will regain their value, and there's a good chance of them being more valuable then ever at some point in the future. And an NFT that seems worthless today may bring a fortune for you one day. Especially ones made by already established creators.

Or does it mean instead of being able to win big jackpots, we now only can win NFTs?
That's what they claim. From what I have understood, you can still randomly win either a big jackpot or an NFT from luckydegens NFT collections which I think is also associated with their casino.

If the market will be flooded with tons of new animal NFTs that gamblers get for free the price for them will likely be 0.

I didn't fully understand how the new NFT slot machines are going to work. Does it mean once we play the minimum amount of games per day we receive a free NFT from the slot machine? So it's kind of a bonus for regular customers. Or does it mean instead of being able to win big jackpots, we now only can win NFTs? The idea seems interesting if its some limited time offerings to promote new slot games. The important thing is to not give out too many NFTs in my opinion. If the market will be flooded with tons of new animal NFTs that gamblers get for free the price for them will likely be 0. Why would anybody pay money for them if he can obtain them for free himself. The best way is to create some scarcity and don't offer them permanently. Only when they can't be obtained anymore the value should be rising. And for gamblers it only becomes attractive if there is some real value behind it.

*Shill mode on*  Cheesy

There are loot boxes in Rollbit that could win you one of those ape NFT's worth more than 100k USD.  It's not exactly a slot machine but it's almost the same idea.  And you mostly get your money back via RLB tokens that somewhat the same amount as the price of the loot box.

Check it out.

https://rollbit.com/nft/lootboxes/play

And there are lots of loot boxes to choose from with a range of prices.

Only those who are into NFTs would be interested in it because most gamblers here focus on crypto earnings. That's actually a breath of fresh air for some players  It would only double the risk of gambling.
What about nft's? They can still bring you earnings right? It's refreshing to see something like this so this could attract gamblers and nft fan's. Don't worry about the risk as nft's investors and gamblers are already used to that. If this was a double risk then the return is also double if ever the idea is a success and also if they won in the gambling game's inside the platform.

Quote
but I don't think it could work in the long run since most NFTs aren't good for a long-term basis.
How they will know if they will not try it? That is the only way to tell. When did nft start again? Last year? But there must be nft's last year, that are still alive up until today and some of them have become stronger already. Nft's can survive for long term as long as the support of the community is solid.

This is really cool, I can’t wait to see what happens with this. I think it’s a really cool idea to use NFT for gambling and I think that it will be very popular in the near future!!and I think that a reward would be necessary in order to pique the interest of potential gamblers.

The hype on NFT has significantly decreased but the gambling industry will still welcome this concept, the casino that generates this idea should have launched it when the NFT concept is still at its all-time high to sustain the interest, checking the article they are going to launch in June and July of this year.
I'm sure a thread about this casino whether from the official representative or one of us will be created to have a discussion of this new concept, have bookmarked the dates and we'll see how it will go.

I wonder if this is different from the online games I've seen perhaps the game maybe different this time because cheating is not allowed here although we can't be sure about that especially in online games. But the idea though is cool I just want to see how this thing goes in the long run. I don't like it to be hype up that would attract some cheater again but the developers better use some gameguard or defense mechanism to avoid the cheating or the cheater to spam the game.

Though the concept is interesting, I don't think big-time gamblers would prefer NFTs over the traditional prizes. Especially now that NFTs aren't in a good state because of the market situation. However, this innovation simply means that gambling could adopt anything that's on-trend but yes, owning or receiving NFTs nowadays isn't worth the risk because we all know that most NFTs these days failed and couldn't deal with the bearish market.

I agree with that. Not because there's a mentioned NFT on a certain gambling site, it doesn't mean it can catch right away those real gamblers' attention to try their site. Gamblers are not really focused on the new trends rather they will just continue to build their winning stats in gambling.

Gamblers will always stick to what they think will be profitable to them even how unique the concept that is applied on the gambling site. There are lots of non-sense NFT-related services or projects already and building the NFT hype on that new site or platform will take a long time before being recognized by others.

This is an amazing idea!

NFT is currently a very popular topic.  Now many young people own NFT and are actively interested in this topic.  As a result, a very interesting concept emerged — the idea of combining gambling and NFT.

This is how (combining different technologies) really interesting and viable projects are born.  I would be very interested in trying to win new NFTs by gambling.  It's very exciting!

I will follow the further development of this project.

Judging by today's situation, the demand for NFT decreased significantly because of the fall of the stock market and then the cryptocurrency market, so do not expect that the received NFT will be worth something. NFT market is too illiquid that's why for NFT to have a real value it should bring a good profit for its holder. Otherwise it is nothing that will lose its value in a month.

the idea is not bad, I think it sound really innovative. but this NFT has a kind of "value" or "interest"? People are collecting it?
It has been created by some artist?
because it's like you get a random crypto coin, likewise what we have seen with ICO boom in 2017...

Not necessarily new, we've had propriety art that was tokenized with some randomized elements and it was possible to bet on the outcome of esports games.  That would be something like Valve operated for CSGO skins or other in game items have effectively been similar to that.  Thats a centralized system and its heavily restricted now from gambling with 3rd parties but its not a totally new idea.   Could be very popular so long as the demand is there

we are in the NFT era now and we love to have NFT, the NFT is now invading the casino industry and its good for the technology.

No no no, there's no such thing as the NFT era, I should say. We can call it the NFT craze or NFT hype instead. That's the proper term from what I see about the NFT trend today. An era means it's a dominant industry which I think is not currently the situation for NFT today.

NFT is now invading the casino industry? I'm not aware of these. What casinos are currently applying the use of NFT on their gambling platforms?

Can you give some examples for everyone's awareness?

Some casinos on the past have already added an nft system on them so this wasn't new however the only difference I think of this one here is that when you own an nft, there is no need for you deposit money if you want to play gambling? That seems cool then. That saves people a lot of cash though there is a limit but maybe that limit can be lifted depending on the nft that we own and pretty sure that the cost of the nft's are also not going to be cheap, they are nft's anyway.

It's only sad that some countries are restricted on this and they wont have the chance to try this concept even if they are itchy right now but there must be a way. We have vpn's and such tools to bypass a restriction right? HeHe...

I do not have an interest in NFT and I see that the NFT trend can disappear following the market movements and the trends in the crypto world.

I don't either and I think the trend has already started to dissipate. The NTFs that are like digital works of art, you have to think that they are far from being all like the works of Leonardo da Vinci or Picasso. Rather there has been a bubble of NFTs and many of them are like if your neighbor who has no idea about art started painting because the painting market is hot.

I believe that NFT slots (or other games) should ideally be a complement to the casino offer.
If NFT is one of the trends already happening in crypto, it could disappear like other projects.
It's very difficult to find an NFT project that is really good at managing it.
There may still be an NFT bubble to come later while we better watch the developments from the market.

Actually, no. Like you said most gamblers are focused on crypto-earnings therefore, any form of gambling, be it an NFT or not, will surely attract most gamblers since there's the earning part and even non-gamblers will also do the same.

The NFT on the topic will also come from a gambling company that's already operating for a long in the gambling industry.

This new trend is good. We need a new taste after a taste. As long as we think we can make money on it, we will welcome any kind of trend in gambling.

I noticed that even those involved in NFT speculation have little understanding of the technical side of this issue (at least many). What to say about those who come across this for the first time in a casino? They will go to the wiki to read and most likely in 99% of the time the reaction will be like "what is this shitty incomprehensible risky nonsense?"

Quiet interested in this new concept and exploring at their Decentraland Embassy right now, I do hope the article provides more information on the right but getting on the metaverse land of Decentraland and checking the right coordinates, I got the right twitter and discord to follow. Just like crypto/bitcoin rather in the early days many are doubting its potential, I think NFT's has their time too, we may say the craze has gone down but there are projects that may stay.

I am not sure if that can give gamblers a different experience, but the casino can still be a place for gamblers to play many gambling games.
I do not have an interest in NFT and I see that the NFT trend can disappear following the market movements and the trends in the crypto world.
But maybe the casino can use a different idea to share or give NFT to their members so gamblers can get new stuff collected from the casino.
But still, it is a new concept and maybe we need to wait and see how the NFT can give a new thing for the gamblers.

I think this is a very interesting gambling project because historically there has been no NFT-based gambling and this can trigger investors or other traders to start trying to do this gambling, hopefully this can be big and can provide a lot of profit for the players. players and developers.

It looks rather belated - first of all, the NFT hype has already ended and trading volumes have fallen by 90% (if I remember the news correctly). Secondly, after this hype, people left a rather negative "aftertaste" from the NFT, so if they now suddenly encounter such a project in an area where they did not expect it, they would rather get angry than rejoice.

The gambling site is taking advantage of the NFT craze. This is the first time I read that concept and I want to see what's the result in the long run. Since it's quite new to our dictionary, we don't know yet if the community will be attracted to it.

A good idea that someone from their brainstorming team makes up that move. But good results, if ever, might just be seen after months. Their actions might result too for other gambling sites to follow the move.

Let's stay tuned for their other NFT-related plans in the future.

I think this is the site OP mentioned in his post

https://luckydegens.com/ the casino looks great and the roadmap is very interesting, they've been online since 2021 and they are not yet open an announcement thread here in Bitcointalk, I hope they would open a thread here so we can have a good discussion on their casino and all their features like this one NFT slot Machine, its a new concept and we all know that gamblers and investors love to see the new concept and they will are always excited to see a new one.

Whether slot NFTs are successful or the opposite, will depend on the ease and convenience of their sale process. If its too much of a hassle to sell slot NFTs people won't bother with them. Also if the sale price is too low or there is too much volatility involved.

The artwork would also probably need to be a limited edition of some type that the average person can appreciate. Who is a hot actress or model at the moment? A limited edition photoshoot with one of them could make for a decent NFT that people would collect and HODL. Limited edition and rare sports memorabilia could be another angle worth pursuing. Commissioned artwork from famous artists is another typical approach for collectibles.

Co host of mythbusters Adam Savage recently got a tattoo on his arm to measure inches and centimeters. I wonder if a NFT with conversion rates for watts, ounces, liters and other units of measurement could be a hit.

That's actually the concept of most NFTs.

They're adding value on it through its utility but most of them doesn't really have anything to add on it as utility. Well, that's a good way to attract gamblers and that's their target for their own market.

But at these times, the NFT market is starting to get sort of correction as well which is in line and connected to the crypto market. Maybe not a good timing or it's tolerable.

this is a good concept and also new, I'm curious how enthusiastic gamblers are with this NFT concept...

many game developers have had great success with their NFT sales and this time the casino business owners saw a big opportunity too. I support the concept offered (50 free spins / day for NFT holders). those who have a lot of money (especially slots enthusiasts) will definitely buy a lot of this NFT slot machine.
Whenever we do see some new concept that do attaches it self on the current trend then this is something that pokes out different interest in the community.
If they do find out that this could really be utilized or something that would be good or something beneficial then expect that those people around would really be interested with
this idea.If ever this one would come out then lets see on how things would really be the impression with the entire community.

I don't quite understand why a lot of people want to get NFTs integrated within their platforms. If there isn't any utility to their NFTs, not a lot of people will even bother wanting those NFTs. If these things can be converted into something that can be used on the casino, perhaps gamblers will be proud to have that item on them just to trade for perks and whatnot.

Overall I don't think that these NFT integration will make a big difference on casinos and the overall gambling experience but that's just me.
Well, that is the idea here. To give NFT holders access to revenue share, airdrop of $Lucky tokens, VIP, decision power over the future of the casino and lottery tickets to earn extra spins, native tokens and more NFTs.

When NFTs have a function like this they totally worth. Although we must be careful, because this casino was created recently (Q4, 2021) and the project isn't fully developed yet.

Does anyone have already managed to collect a NFT? Can you purchase it or do you have to win it by playing at the casino? It seems details are too restricted to their Discord channel...

According to the source a crypto website have launched a new NFT which comes with free slots for the holders for UpTo 50 times per day and you can also own new NFT by playing that machine as well !

I found this concept a bit different,  they are trying to build the whole concept around Metaverse with adding the NFT concept as well, I think this is quite different and would like to know the thoughts regarding this, would you play? Would you own the NFT, it's good to see the casinos coming up with new ideas.
https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/16589/crypto-casino-launches-first-nft-slot-machine

I'd rather get the whole price as crypto, that way, it is easier to convert when I withdraw them.  NFT slot Machine may sound new but the concept and the process are the same.

I am extremely skeptical about the concept of NFT,

Same here, I am worried about the conversion value of NFT if we failed to convert it asap.

I am extremely skeptical about the concept of NFT, but positive about the concepts of the Metaverses (another question is that now there is no place for these concepts in life for technological reasons). Therefore, I can say that I am not interested in such things. If I wanted to do NFT trading, which is very similar to gambling, I would do it on specialized sites, but I go to the casino to directly engage in gambling. Even taking into account the fact that this is a new interesting trend, I am not interested in it in such an activity as gambling.

That is an interesting concept. I haven’t heard of this specific utility for an NFT before, but it seems great. I could see these being popular among members and casinos looking to reward their users with something special. Nice find. I can’t say I’ll be participating but it’s always nice to learn of a new use case.

I know for me I do not own a single NFT but who knows about the future, considering how this slot machine will be giving NFT's away instead if a reward is quite amazing and I do think this can also help people out by increasing the adoption of NFT and when we are talking about Metaverse it's certainly something that we have all been waiting for to get adopted on a larger basis and there would be other things that we would be seeing soon enough just like these NFT slot machines and it would help to get ahead in line, I wonder how much the membership would be to be able to play 50 slots per day, guess so we all would have to wait for the launch now.

Yea, I also saw Bitcasino.io promoting "gifts" for new signups in the form of NFT's for I think 50 people. I do not think it is a good idea, because anyone can use the worthless NFT's to attract people to gambling.

I will much rather work out a discount deal for people who wants to buy into the whole NFT thing, than forcing them to own some kind of NFT that has almost no value.

Let the person decide what he wants to buy with the voucher for a specific amount of the credit that was given to him or her.  Roll Eyes

Yes but you can resell these NFT's in the market if you don't want to hold onto them this would make things better and more easier. Some NFT's are going way strong in the market as well therefore might be/might not be a good opportunity, just a gamble it is.

Overall I don't think that these NFT integration will make a big difference on casinos and the overall gambling experience but that's just me.

I agree, it's just a casino in the end... but I guess they are targeting NFT lovers with this! As I understand we can play some slots (with some coins) and some lucky winning hit can bring an additional prize in form of NFT?! But I can find is there some minimal bet to be eligible for winning NFT?! Or we can just play that NFT slot and hope for the best with any bet?!

Anyway, just checked LuckyCrypto casino, this is the first time I heard about them (I don't remember seeing them here on the forum)... The casino looks nice generally! A big choice of games, they accept 6 cryptocurrencies... I am not sure will I try this, 20 more days to think about it, but those who decide to start playing in this casino earlier should check them, don't just deposit money because they offer something new!

This sounds a lot like a faucet but for NFTs. I don't find this very exciting. There was a bubble of NFTs that started to burst a few months ago, and realistically, 99% are going to have a value of 0 or very close to 0 in the next few years.
I think NFT in casinos is not really concerned with its artistic value, it will function more than just collectibles which of course only plays a passive role in the casino industry.

In the Op article mention about the privilege of NFT holders which equates players with a certain VIP level in the casino. Despite the offerings, I doubt that this NFT will be able to entice players. In general gamblers prefer to make money that is rather "extreme", fueling their adrenaline.

I'm actually playing a game the like of it and in the game, I'm just a free player and I'm having the worst experience when playing their gotcha or slot machine doesn't give anything valuable except I pour cash into the game.  I understand this is something new in this industry where you can actually own some rare NFT when you hit the jackpot. I just hope they consider more to give more rewards than the game I'm playing right now cause when the players realized they are just wasting some money, they will quit.

Not all NFTs are valuable. In fact, most of them are not. And imo there's a high probability of Lucky Degens being in that zero value pool. I would definitely play in a casino where you a have a chance of winning an NFT from Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks or, now trending, goblintown.wtf, but having my RTP lowering for a chance of winning something of zero value, or even with the same RTP but in a shady casino ... I don't want that.

For there to be a demand for NFTs and their price to rise, they need to have utility in the ecosystem. If they are collectible NFTs that don't give their holders any privileges compared to other casino users, then there's no point in getting them.

There are already casinos on Solana - Dice Casino (https://magiceden.io/marketplace/dice_casino) that offer their NFT holders a portion of casino revenue. As you can see their value is holding up, but not growing. So it all depends on the generosity of the developers.

maybe it won't be too long to wait for its launch this month, Nft which incidentally is for interesting and valuable artworks and collections in the market.
but this system is different in wrapping with collaboration outside the nature of nft. maybe it can be like staking and other definitions to get prizes and bets every day. Day by day the world of crypto is evolving so that the NFT doesn't want to just watch the development. I salute and I believe this is good.
crypto users will be curious and I'm sure they will try something unique. and we'll see what happens. so sensational if this can go well.

The concept is new and from what I see is targeting a bigger user base because NFT-s can be sold and people have already paid nice amounts of money for a single NFT so far. That is I think the main selling point of this new concept. Personally I am extremely conservator when it comes to gambling so I like much more the traditional slots without added bonuses like the NFT-s but that is just me.I think most people will really like the concept and this will just boom even more with the passing of time.

Although the market and making profit from the original investment is a part of HODLing NFTs, I believe the creators of NFTs should also make them more dynamic, if possible, and therefore making them more "valuable" depending on how long it has stayed in a user's wallet.

To illustrate, let me give you a shower thought. What if a "common NFT", but a dynamic one, would increase its probability of "generating" a rare trait if it stored in a special wallet, giving the holder an opportunity to increase his NFTs value? Cool

I really like the concept, the fact that users can win NFTs on a slot machine is new for me, and for sure some of those NFTs have a nice value on the market.

The fact that we have to sell that NFT to make a profit from our bet makes me think how users will gamble more for the collectible than for money.

I like the concept too. I also admitted my mistake in saying that NFTs are Tulip Mania 2.0.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59219783

Although, there will be some people in the forum who wouldn't like it because their belief remains, "NFTs have no value". I have debated against it, and asked who are we, as plebs, to say what has, or has no value? It's the market that decides "value", including shitcoins.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59247492

Plus the concept of "NFTs" was already mentioned by Hal Finney. I believe Bitcoin as a protocol has missed the ride in this development.

This is a great concept that opens many ideas to gambling industry. Maybe soon more online gambling casino will do this to attract more customers on their platform. If the nft prize will have a utility then more gamblers will bet on it. Even I won't hesitate to gamble some money to get that as long as its perks is good. This also introduces what really is NFT, not just some jpegs that anyone can put on their social media accounts.

Anyway, the NFT industry is slowly dying and all the hype surrounding NFTs is going away. Most NFTs, which costed several hundreds or even several thousand dollars are going to cost 10-20 dollars in the near future. The market liquidity on the NFT markets is decreasing and selling your NFTs will get harder as time goes by. Good luck winning some nice NFTs and trying to sell them for actual cryptocurrencies.
I don't mind wasting my time playing on this NFT slots game(if there was a free option), but wouldn't bet any money on it. It's not worth it.

It's not surprising to see slots handing out NFTs since I remember it was already done by another provider but they're using a well-known NFT as one of the many potential payouts from the game.

The benefits coming from their own NFT collection really made it more interesting, One thing I don't like is the airdrop of NFTs as that might easily kill the value of the other NFT due to the increasing monthly supply but the rest sounds great and promising though.

If so, there is a possibility that it will become a new trend in the gambling business to attract more gambling users. However, if the casino does not yet have a place to trade the NFT, I think the interest of gamblers to own the NFT will not be too great because they can only keep the NFT without being able to sell it for other profits. But I'm sure the casino can accommodate that and help gamblers who already have the NFT so that they can also get other benefits apart from gambling.
