After looking at a couple of different paper wallets i must say I'm disappointed at the selection. None of them are particularly 'smart'...

I'll probably have to design it myself.

I was hoping for something that folds in a cool way, maybe making the wallet into a credit card type thing...

This is the best "paper" wallet https://cryptosteel.com
Stainless, fireproof, waterproof, shockproof Grin.
You can store on it your seed (12-24 words) for Trezor, Ledger, Electrum or whatever you prefer. Just read some info about how it's works.

Try bitcoinpaperwallet.com

I like their design the most and it's a trusted website. Just make sure to download the source code and run yourself in a offline PC to make sure there is no malwares trying to steal your generated keys. They have some custom designs made exactly for this: gifting to a friend.
yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. I actually found it after posting this message. Funny how sometimes you remember to google something after you've already posted Smiley

You want to print bitcoins on a paper and give it to your friend? Really?

I am not really so familiar with the intricacies of this paper wallet thing but I think you can really do it using Electrum. Please go over into the site and see how things can be done. However, there are also other ways which you can gift someone some Bitcoin. You can also just create a wallet account and then share the details of that account to someone who can be your receiver.
