That video was actually really fun to watch, that clueless crypto trader knew all those crypto related buzzwords, and that made that video good for me.  Grin

what can you buy with it? Smiley
I am considering that you are making fun here.

If a merchant accepts bitcoins then I can buy anything with it. I understand that it has not been used widely yet, there are a lot need to be done to control the tx fees but it's not end of the game. It's been only 10 years since Bitcoin invented. Give it few decades. The future will decide. I am positive about bitcoins.

I believe in decentralization and it can be achievable with blockchain technology and Bitcoin will play a major role.

Knowledge is the first goal for a newbie, before considering investing money into it.
As the guy said it's like gambling and that's what we are doing now. Look around to all those people, they get scared when the price starts to drop and they get excited when the price starts to up. People are looking at bull and bear run.

The beauty of bitcoin/cryptocurrency lies in using it in daily life. It's a currency.

2017 was the year of the noobs. I have never seen people be more delusional and greed obsessed than those who entered last year. These idiots don't care about the whole idea of crypto, they just want to count profits.
And the whole industry is running by some noobs. Look around these YouTube celebs, those blog owners. All of them running after selling their courses. My question is if they are making so much money from trading (meaning they know the market) then why would they need to sell their courses? Why would they need to build their email list, customer base? Unfortunately the people who are buying these BSs do not consider this fact.

Unfortunately, that beauty can't bloom due to networks not being able to handle mass use yet, and people themselves aren't at that point yet. It's going to take a decade or so before we can expect this to change for the better.
I understand the expense of network fees, There was a time when to send 0.2ish BTC the network cost was around $20! The conflict comes when we think about the dollar value of the bitcoin.

Well I am sorry I don't click links to video that there was no description to what the video is all about what so ever attached to it at least to no if it's what even watching or if it would be offensive to some people
You don't have to worry about it.

That's just a youtube channel by "LifeAccordingToJimmy" and the video was titled - "Balcony Conversations - Bitcoin guy". This youtuber has over 3 million subscribers and the video alone got 1M views.

Haha I watched that video before and its funny to watch it again.

That guy with the nasa shirt is representing those people that wanted to get rich quick with crypto's. They aren't okay with losses and all they think was crypto's and bitcoin is just an increasing pattern without any stop overs or corrections.

That "you just lost $2,000 in 60 seconds" haha it feels man, I can feel the pain!

Thanks for posting this video, I think that it is both interesting and useful to watch, especially if you are new to crypto and don't know many things. To my mind, it is obvious but for some it is not

This may be some positive ads from our side that have been uploaded and it is very useful for new people like you said about it. It helps us not to think too much about cryptocurrency as a scam, and understand everything we still wonder Grin

If there was no hint of a gamble, and there was a certainty that everyone earns, then it would not be much different to a ponzi scheme, and everyone would try to get in, until it crashes.

You can give someone the basics of bitcoin without considering the financial aspects, besides the value per coin.
Understanding of bitcoin and digital assets would be beneficial as the future of financial technology beckons.

It might sound like a decade is too long, but it's nothing in reality. In the stock market 5-10 years is a pretty common time horizon when it comes to growth, and most people here get bored already when the market doesn't move much in a month.

2017 was the year of the noobs. I have never seen people be more delusional and greed obsessed than those who entered last year. These idiots don't care about the whole idea of crypto, they just want to count profits.

Really good video-thank you. On YouTube, there are not many good channels that cover the topics of cryptocurrency and related projects. This is largely channels for PR, new startups and generally with steep views and subscribers. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

It is always helpful to add contents when posting links on to the forum. And also the type of response you expect and your opinions about the content being shared.

This video was seemingly made fir entertainment purposes, but it's also displays the reality were people'get' into cryptocurrency without understanding what exactly it is.
