Mercury Wallet is a new Bitcoin Layer 2 privacy wallet which utilizes Statechain Swaps, a technique to trade Bitcoin UTXOs offchain by swapping private keys in a trustless way. Statechain Swaps were first proposed by Bitcoin developer Reuben Somsen, and Mercury wallet is the first implementation to use them.
