Nigeria, is a sleeping giant at 64, nothing de to show say we be di giant of Africa, wey other African nations take know us before. Infact di economic situation just de deteriorate and every administration wey enter di thing just de get worse. No constant electricity, no good roads, security na zero, high inflation, we still de depend on importation instead of being a productive economy. Di rate wey Nigerians take de japa enter other countries don increase too much, everybody wan leave di country for a better life outside. Di worst be say our leaders no care about di ordinary citizens, na to de steal money to enrich demselves be dem concern. I hope say make God give us better leaders wey go give us good governance so we go de happy to celebrate our independence in the future.

Nigeria was tagged as a falling State by Ibaba E Ibaba but I tag Nigeria State has a failed State. And what are the factors to consider as fail state. Unable to provide the necessary needs of the citizens which are Electricity, clean water high cost of living, failure of the educational sector and unemployment are the number one in a failed State. Nigeria got Political independent in 1960 and economic independent was still controlling by the Colonial Masters, and now, the Colonial Masters are using the Neo Colonialism to control the Nigerian State and that is why the Economy is model to benefit the Advance countries (Colonial Masters). Nigeria government was forced to devalue the Naira which have been on ground for years but PDP government refused to accept the offers as of then but APC government accepted them and that is why the country is like this. The two major institutions that are problem in Nigeria na World Bank and International Monetary Funds. The Colonial Masters dey use this these two institution is to control Nigeria economy. And the only time Nigeria go get freedom. Na strong president who go cut off from those institutions.
All you stated here are really what is ongoing in our country today, we claim to have gotten our freedom from the colonizers but that does not seem like the case, all our resources are still controlled by this exact people. Worst it has gotten, our own government are cordially working in hands with this foreigners, majorly for their own personal interest which has initially kept this country to be ranked among the underdeveloped countries, Nigeria rich in resources can barely provide proper electricity, our infrastructure are poorly built, maintained and some parts of the country cannot boast of any driving factors inline to what we have.

Nigeria are being ranked the 3rd most indebted country to the world bank, with a debt of $15.59 billion then how can we break free from this people, as long we still owe them, they are entitled to regulate the economy, breaking free won't just happen from cutting off but as well clearing all debts because i strongly believe we are economically rich to clear out every debts owed within a few months and channel back to reconstructing our country having full country this time.

The independence was all a lie. Maybe we did get independence from colonial masters but the truth is, citizens themselves aren't truly enjoying the independence. We don't even have freedom of speech anymore. In other countries, people can call out governments for bad governance or even attend a protest without direct consequences such as going to jail for protesting. Aa we celebrate in the coming days, the biggest question is what we're going to be celebrating? Even Law enforcement officers don't allow young people independence in the country.

Government will definitely celebrate but a vast majority of citizens won't  Embarrassed

While listening to the president's broadcast on the day of independence I was baffled with how low we have become as a country and how we have continously lost our past glory. I remember back in those days when it was first of October and my parents will be eager to tune in their radio stations to listen to what the president have to say about the current situations of the countries and the proactive measures they're taking to address those issues.

Government was extremely functional and experimental then unlike now that things have changed completely and we have all developed disinterest in the affairs of the government since they have continued to show great negligence from their end. When I heard the president say, there will be light at the end of the tunnel, I was annoyed and disheartened with that statement honestly.

E de funny say when independent day celebration don reach, when de try find out wetin we don achieve so far as a nation but e de always de deficult to fit point am out.
We just don find ourself for dis country, and I no go lie, nothing wey we fit just do, but dis our country matter just get as e be, and if I will be honest, I no see any reason wey we suppose Dey even celebrate dis independence self, Nigeria @64 and nothing wey we fit point out say we don achieve as a country, every sector for dis country just Dey poor. Abeg I no really Dey sure say we suppose Dey celebrate dis independence ooo, wey most people still dey suffer for d country.

As we don Dey hope since say d country go better, even as it’s keeps on getting worst, make we still Dey hope say e go better, maybe one day things go change for good small for dis country, but to be honest people are really suffer, and e just be like say we no even get president, governor, senators, reps, and chairman for dis country, because all of them are doing nothing.

On October 1960 Nigeria became an independent Nation gaining freedom from her Colonial master Britain Paving the way for native rule. And just like a child learning how to walk and stand Nigeria started learning how to govern it self.

NIGERIA has survived many challenge difficult times with the breakout of the Nigerian civil war which lasted almost three years there where fear about the survival of the nation but at the end the young Nation came out of the war victorious.

Taking a look at how far we have come as a nation I was having a sober reflection and deep thoughts about my country at 64 year, what are we  really celebrating as a nation with the state of our nation, question's has been asked by different person's in the nation what are we really celebrating at 64, to the ordinary man it's been 64 year's of darkness as the government has failed to provide 24 hours of power to the country, it has been 64 years of struggling with economic problem as our economy is in its worst state ever gaining independent as the price of goods and services in the market is out of Barn for the ordinary citizens.

In the area of security the country is also in the it's worst state as the ordinary citizens is not guaranteed security as the country is divided across religious and tribal lines, corruption is at its best as sometimes money can develop wings and fly away and other times money can be swallowed up by snake but to mention but a few.
I have come to the conclusion that Nigeria is not still an independent country as it's still under the colonial masters which are the local political elite a tiny few that has cornered the common wealth of the nation

The contry has still not gained independence there was only a change in power from the Britain's to our Nigerian politicians
These days I wonder if it would have even be better if nigeria was still being collonised by the Britain's
But as e dey be so the only thing we can do is to pray and hope for the best

E de funny say when independent day celebration don reach, when de try find out wetin we don achieve so far as a nation but e de always de deficult to fit point am out. Protest normally go boost our tomorrow and instead celebrating our 64th of Independence, we no get choice but to protect because nothing de tangeable when we fit take show for say na wetin we don achieve so far.

Person when don reach 64 years na small pikin? If after you don free from your master for a whole 60 years you can't boost of a tangeable thing that suggest that you've really gained independence, how that independent take make sense? Believe it or not, the 64th years of our existence as an independent state has had nothing reasonable to write because we've only retarded at almost everything we've ever done.

Where we wan even start from? We wan talk about health, security, provision of jobs, provision of social amenities, how well we make use of our resources or even our mode of governance, e get anything when don really improve despite the numbers of years?
