our country no go stop to dey amaze use na so him talk say him come to settle everything, but this one concerning the food issues I never see an efforts towards am. But e get waiting i understand about this maybe he dey put effort towards am but we ourselves no dey help ourselves, why I talk like this because imagine even if they change the prices of food for this Nigerian the market people no go still agree follow the procedures. President tinubu fit dey try him best but I don't think he his really putting more effort towards anything concerning the sufficient of food in the country, just take a look at everything that's going on now what have he done since he entered that seat. I no go lie you nothing him go do about am either if he try the next thing na for ourselves to come understand each other's feelings in this Nigeria.

Wetin you talk na true, assuming say our president really won help matter, we for see e effort, make e remain say na we no won help ourselves, just imagine say our border still dey close till now, even our own products self still dey cost and dey unaffordable for some people. And i see am say our leaders dem no dey even dey bother at all, they all dey after for themselves and their families but nothing concern them for the society, them just dey talk talk but them no dey show working, how corruption no go increase when they no dey help people.

If the government really means to achieve this, I promise you they can. They have all it takes to be able to leverage the agricultural sector in the country and use that to bolster the economic development of the state as well as recalibrate the unstable economic and inflation crisis the country is facing today. All the federal government needs to do is to strengthen its investment into food producing states - states that have the fertile land for mass production of food - like in the north we have a lot of states that are into production of cash crops like rice, beans maize etc and in the south where you have states that are massively into the palm oil business and so on.

The federal government can decide to identify the diversity in the farm products those states can make and invest in them respectively. For instance, the main palm oil producing states are in the south-south, southwest and south-east where you have states like Akwa Ibom, Edo, Ekiti, Delta, Enugu, Ogun, Anambra and states like Bayelsa where you find almost everywhere littered with the oil palms.

In the North central, we have states like Niger State with the largest landmass of over 70,000 kilometer square of parable land fertile for the mass production of Rice, Beans, Groundnuts, Milets, Soybeans, Gum Arabic, Cassava, Sesame Seed, Maize and the likes of Shea karnel which are very profitable and are highly demanding for the international market. Niger State alone can be an hub for the production of food and the state can support the federal government and the administration in its food security agenda.

States like Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, and Kebbi are well specialized in Garlic and Cotton while you will get Hibiscus in large quantity from states like Jigawa Kano and Bauchi states.

If I want to continue mentioning, I will probably take some much more paragraphs explaining but in a nutshell, all these are opportunities that the government can leverage because they are God's given natural resources that the land is enriched with. If we as a nation can focus on all of these that I have mentioned,  in no time, we attain food security and still have enough to transport out of the country.

and what tangeable policy has he been able to set up since he assumed office to have given an indication that there is light at the end of the tunnel regarding local production of food in the country?

The recent news I'm seeing is suggesting that the federal government which he is heading is making plans to send another palliative of 75k to Nigerian household to curb the high rate of hunger that's ravaging the land. Is that what an administration that's thinking about making her local production to become viable again? We have to know that we have a long way to go and to be honest, the kind of leaders we have are not individuals that seems to have what it takes to profer solutions to our economic problem. When you listen  to the minister of finance talking about his policies that's already on ground that's supposed to liberate the nation from her current state, you are literally left with not option that concluding that we're very far from the change we've long anticipated. I'm yet to see any good policy on ground that I can boost of as one that has the potential of making us a viable local producers of our goods.

Whoever thinks so wit d way wey things dey go for d country dey lie to himself. It breaks my heart anytime wey I see cattle enta people farms to destroy crops and dis is more often dis day. How persin wan take achieve food security wen dat type of thing is on d increase? Again, bandits dey go kidnapp farmers for dem farms. How people go take dey encouraged to go farm. Dis govment just dey play politics wit anything wey dem see and nor send d citizens. It's a shame.
