It has been months since DOGS was listed, one of the intriguing observations about dogs is the ease with which the listing came. It wasn't long like some other TG projects.
Looking through the streets of X, I saw a post from a user asking others what memes they will mention from those in a snapshot posted. Guess what? Dogs is dominating the chat section. And then am looking at the many projects going on, which do you see as the meme for 2025? Which project will boom with the season?

Nigeria have always been among the top 10 for several years but it seems this year is a major improvement because the last time I checked this, Nigeria ranked 6th maybe because of our government actions against Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Now that the storm is over and the economy is still biting, I'm not surprised why Nigerians keep searching for survival and choosing cryptocurrency which is like a way out. I'm truly happy that many Nigerian youths are embracing cryptocurrency as we can see from the exponential growth of our local board in this forum.

D never say die spirit. If na dat wan, we Nigerians get am for body like second skin. Na wan of d things wey CZ Binance bin observe wey make am rush create Naira pair for us. He knew d extent of owa trading activities and e show well well. If not for owa selfish political leaders, Naija for be a stronger force to reckon wit in dis space. I know we're strong but stronger for dey betta. Anyway, make we dey see how dis 2025 go be for us whether BAT go later relax those his obnoxious laws against cryptos or not. Shame go make dem do something once more countries begin adopt Bitcoin. Na follow follow be owa politicians own.
our politicians problem for this country no pass greed. the reason them dey tackle crypto and its users this way na because them don finally understand the potentials wey e get and how much people fit dey get from am, and instead of them to use their forces to harness this potentials make e for fit benefit everybody, them want the benefits for their own personal pocket, just to enrich their own selves and na just wetin dey kill us for this country. yes crypto no go solve all our problems for this country o, but e go undoubtedly solve most of our major problems and them don really understand this, and this dey really make me dey see am like say our leaders dey really enjoy to dey see us suffer, struggle and hunger.

The Chainanalysis, after several researches and computations, has finally got through 151 countries in the 2024 Global Crypto (Bitcoin) Adoption, and Nigeria is second to India in the globe to adopt Crypto/Bitcoin.

Central & Southern Asia and Oceania (CSAO) dominates our 2024 Index, with seven of the top 20 countries located in the region. As we explore in the full report, CSAO has a unique set of crypto markets with high levels of activity on local crypto exchanges, with merchant services, and in DeFi.

Of course, it's in our bloodlines to be top in every place we appear, but the fact that Nigeria isn't just reluctant in the new events of the world shows also the potential of Nigeria. It's good to see our activities count in the crypto (bitcoin) world. Since the ETF approval countries, nation-states have begun to look into bitcoin and making it a national reserve, but Nigeria is not in this league of countries that its lawmakers have proposed such investment in bitcoin, yet we are topping the globe in adoption.
This is a good news because Nigerian are really hard working people especially when it comes to matter's that will be of help and add value to them and crypto is one thing that offers a lot of opportunities to it's natural that nigerian will take advantage of the opportunities that the crypto space offers am particularly surprised that Nigeria is not even at the top of the list with countries that the highest level of crypto acceptance because virtually every young people in the country is now aware of crypto currency related activities

I think in the nearby future we can have a crypto currency reserve like Bitcoin but for now our leaders are not thinking of such things as they are more concerned about how they can corruptly steal the common wealth of the nation, with the level of crypto acceptance that we have in the country if our government can key into the potential that the crypto space offers Nigeria will be the number one country when it comes to crypto acceptance level

India, Nigeria and Indonesia are top three this shows that the lesser economical power country are fast adopting Crypto-currency, with the poor economical situation and the worthless power of these countries local currencies, Crypto-currency seem to be a refreshing hope and this list is a testament to that.
As a Nigerian and a crypto-currency enthusiasts I am proud to see Nigeria on the list and I honestly hope more Nigerians can see the opportunities crypto holds for everyone.
Although, it is not something new anymore. If you can check the last 2 or 3 years Chainanlysis reports, we have been the second while India has been the first since that time.
It's exactly 3 years now since they started ranking 2nd in worldwide crypto adoption; it first ranked 6th place in 2021 and after then we have kept the 2nd position and have been protecting it as if it's an award.

Despite our government being against crypto, it still does not stop people from going massively into crypto in Nigeria; if we check very well, the massive growth started just the same year the CBN issued a circular on their stand against cryptocurrency.

After I read this, I had to do a little check on these findings concerning the previous year's ranking and I would say that this is not a new thing for Nigeria to always be at the top even after the tussle between the government and her citizens with the crypto exchange. Nigerians are indeed a very strong force in the industry. Irrespective of whatever happens, her citizens always do her proud and that has been the record so far but I believe in the nearest future, crypto adoption will be in a full blown scale adoption in the country.

Because these regions gains a lot from just holding Bitcoin, selling it to Fiat than merely using it for transactions. When dollar rate to naira rises, it favours the value of your Bitcoin to Naira likewise other Asian countries with their Fiat currency too, thereby sustaining the economy of the country.

Other Western world uses crypto mostly for encrypted transactions like mostly for their privacy purposes like monero and others, so the rate of adoption is not high, Imo

This is a good observation. Liking this involvement in cryptocurrency to bad governance and weak currencies.
I once met a friend who was trying to take me back to memory lane and he reminded me that crypto investment and minings have been in existence for long but because of how strong our currency was, no one took much interest in it. Now, any single UDDT you have, makes a good fortune and that's the clear driving force behind this crypto rating of 2024.
The good thing is that even before the economy gets better, Nigerians would have seen more reasons to invest in crypto currencies which will sustain our place for long.

Congratulations to us all way don make our country com this notable on a global adoption of bitcoin.
Dem dey talk say na only where get bad names like frauds and being lazy youths na em dem dey see us carry shoulders. How far for this 2 way be say even civilized and well governing countries like the US govts don adopt for economy reserve and yet the rate of adoption there dey poor comparing to 9ja.
Wetin me fit just talk here na say our govt dey blind to see the food fortune way dey inside bitcoin investment for dem not to fit folo the US and the El Salvador's steps on the trending national reserves. Even to lift ban of the central banks to facilitate the processing of cryptocurrencies na big deal for dem.
Well, make we adoptors still enjoy am this way as dem no kukuma tag am illegal for we country.

One big fact be say Naija no dey ever carry last for anything wey dey bring income. Many Nigerians don already realise say e better to work smart than to dey work hard.
Recently, the number of people wey dey get interest dey participate for any bitcoin class for online go tell you say they take am serious.
Time go come when na Naija go carry first and e go shock every body the way e go take happen.

I believe say if na say Nigeria get even half of India population, we for don top the chat. Bitcoin na better investment and Naija dey sabi circulate news of any opportunity wey dey bring money.

No matter how bad situation Nigeria dey if they see anything wey go bring income they must take am, no matter how the Para wey our government dey do nothing go sup and bitcoin will continue growing, Bitcoin no be small thing wey be say another country know wey another country no know, Bitcoin na something wey be say all the world know about it and many have succeed in investing in it, our government fit talk say them no go accept Bitcoin but that one no mean say Nigerians no go do with Bitcoin.

We no need to wait say time go come wey Nigerians go carry first, Nigeria Don dey up because na every day Nigeria population dey increase, as we dey speak like this people wey go dey interested, although normally india get population and when it comes to anything you have to put Indian first because those people population no be small but I still believe say anyhow wey he be one day naija go dey top.

The most interesting thing there is the ability of Nigeria to achieve this feet amongst many highly populated nations.
In the top for occupants of the chart, Nigeria has the lowest population and they still made it to the second place. This is highly commendable as 2024 had many people go into crypto even people that didn't have the knowledge the previous years.

I envisaged this during the last quarter of 2024 after realising that at least almost 1 in every 8 to 10 people gathered both young and old. This is worthy of celebration for everyone Nigerian.
