Fuel price at 690 is not even steasy because some places they sell 720, so it is not a steady price even for something wey dey government nose to regulate but them never fit do am and how them fit go regulate something like garri wey be say na individual effort. No doubt say regulation don become a major challenge for this present administration because all them want to fight na youth wey dey survive through cryptocurrency and the crypto exchange. The issue of pushing the price of commodities down na really something to be worried about because the reduced rate has not reflected in cost of goods.
Nigeria president, Ahmed Bola Tinubu have not play his cards in a balance stats, there's more errors and complaints from Nigerians following the high cost of living. The increase of fuel in the country is due to the removal of fuel subsidy and the government is doing absolutely nothing to fixed this particular matter, if the prices od fuel doesn't come down, then explain to me how the prices od commodities in the market will be lowered back to its former price. Nigeria economy is crumbling and already in shackles. The leaders are not helping matters at hand, they're busy in pursuit for their selfish interest and forgetting the current objectives and reasons why they were elected into office.
Can't agree less with you on this as its purely the actual cause of the increasingly prices of commodities and services in the country. Petroleum is what drives our economy and as a third world country Nigerians depends heavy on petrol to power their businesses and when the cost of providing power for ones business have skipped high such cost will be redirected to the product or service offered leaving the consumer to near the brunt of the high cost.

The sudden removal of fuel subsidy without a laid down plan on how to ameliorate or cushion the effect it will have on the citizens is a clear expression of negligence and incompetence by the current government. Instead of carving out plans to make the economy breathe fresh air on the citizens they are rather focused on increasing tax rates  for social amenities they can't even provide for it's citizens.  It really a nightmare.

I could remember my mom telling me that during the military government the cost of living was not so expensive and if the prices increases the military will go into the market to caution them for making such increase. Now Nigeria is turning to a country where the price of goods increases on a daily basis and we all blame it on the government while the government has not to do with it. The system is now hard for the poor masses to feed their families. Now garri is now 1,200 naira per rubber tell me how do you want the poor to feed their families.

Each regime has its own economic demands and the expectancies for standard of living, this inflation we are seeing is not a thing of today, it has always been happening right before there was civilization, what i expect from the people is not to complain of bad economy, but being able to meet up with the standard of the economy regardless of the situation, do you believe that even in those days, many were still there found lamenting of how things have been expective and unaffordable by them.

Yes, military regime is better than democracy regime because the corruption was not too high in the military regime because people where afraid of what the government will do to them when they are caught with such corrupt activities and courts will not save them.

For people to increase the price of their products in the country in the military regime, the approval will come from the government before sellers will have the mind to increase the price of their products in the market, and people where very comfortable with the government compare to this democracy regime, people thought that it will be the best regime to delete corruption from the country but it has multiple corruption in the country.

The cost of living was not like this in the military regime, I was told that government officials in the military regime will be going round all the markets in the country to monitor the price of goods and services, but this democracy regime, government officials are not moving round the markets to monitor the price of goods and services in the country.

Nigeria today, na just to dey self employed, double our hustle because Nigeria no fit dey good pass like this rather na to dey worst pass like this, because of corruption and i no know whether i go talk say na corruption dey mk our leaders dey get more power or dey make dem to just dey do anyhow because I no see any reason why dem no fit eradicate corruption for this country by reducing the price of things like food stuffs, price of fuel etc. and if care not taken, the rate of kidnapping, stealing, killing will continue increasing and no be say dem no dey aware o but dey just keep quiet just to dey trigger people anger, so abeg mk we just find something useful dey do,or involved ourselves because our leaders no send us o.

Nigeria has we all know before democracy was under the British government In 1851, the British forces seized Lagos, which was later annexed officially in 1861. In 1901, Nigeria was made a British protectorate and was colonized until 1960, when the country gained independence. In 1963, Nigeria became a republic but fell under military rule in 1966 as a result of a coup d'état. Nigeria was controlled or if I may say ruled by the military and turned to a civilian government or if I may say Nigeria Republic. Nigeria then was then ruled by civilians through the act of voting. Now let me jump to my area of concentration, which is the economically system in Nigeria. I can vividly remember when Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was president, how the economically system was fit for the masses, I can  also the fuel price was 65 naira ($0.14) and increased to 140 naira ($0.30) because of the removal of fuel subsidy during former president Goodluck period as president of the Republic of Nigeria. Now as we may have it fuel is now 690 naira per litre and if I'm not mistaking dollar rate as of then was 149.2 at $1 and now as we have it dollar rate is now 1,300 at $1. Now can we say Nigeria is growing or falling? We all increase the prices of goods and blame it on the government or say it dollar increase

The Nigeria economy has been under problem for long. This started immediately after we got independence. Although things were physically good then in the eyes of the masses but our economy has started fallings back from then. Most of this people we call our leaders are just there for there own selfish interest. Non of them has ever made a policy that favour only the masses. Do you ever think of what their salary and allowances are? This in a month for just a senator can change the entire life of a family. This is why they turn our politics to a do or die affairs. I'm still looking forward for a good government that will slash this salary together with their various allowances. Nigeria economy is just being falling gradually and this is where we are today.

I could remember my mom telling me that during the military government the cost of living was not so expensive and if the prices increases the military will go into the market to caution them for making such increase. Now Nigeria is turning to a country where the price of goods increases on a daily basis and we all blame it on the government while the government has not to do with it. Although some market woman do overdo. They sell things at a very high price to make high profit but to be sincere, things are generally costly. Are the market women the one producing rice or garri or bean even clothes. They are just their as a retailers. They sell what they buy. Most of this things are expensive from the producer level. There is a different between general inflation and when some retailers inflate goods for their selfish interest. The later is something common among humans, I may decide to sell my goods for high profit when others sell for low profit. You as consumer are to pick a choice of where to buy. But the case of Nigeria is beyond market woman. Will government ask them to sell beyond the cost price. Let's accept that our present economy is bad and the main solution to this can only come from the government.

Now if I may ask is the military government better than this Democratic government?
