For me I don't see why Nigerian are all going wild about this recent update in the nation, I mean you have been in this country for years now and if you dont know anything, you would have known that nothing is ever straight in this country where corruption and mis behaved tyrant who claims to be leader have been constructing their affair. For me I just take everything' that is happening in the country to be the faith of a better tomorrow because I know all this nonsense is just internal repairs in the nation that no one is currently aware of. We are all going to be here and see as Nigeria solve it problems by itself some day because nothing actually lasts forever.

Although I won’t support the fact that people destroy their nations passport regardless of the circumstances that surrounds their reasons to do that.

The just concluded Nigerian election was practically the worse election I have witnessed in a long time. It was a shame that a democratic nation still doesn’t practice democracy still that should not warrant the destruction of the international passport.

The issues is that, people have been push to the wall,in the sense that people are no longer be recognized in their country called Nigeria, how can you still be making use of passport that can not do you any good, it's better you become unidentified than to be identified as a Nigerian, because both here and in abroad no body likes to hear the name Nigeria anymore, because the name has been stain by our corrupted leaders, some are feeling ashamed of bearing anything tags Nigeria,so that is why some people have decided to tear it passport and remain none citizens..

Following the outcome of the february 25 presidential election in Nigeria, Nigerians in their large numbers have showed their disappointment as the process of the election was mered by several irregularities.

1. Results were not uploaded from the polling units as directed by INEC before the election
2. Results were altered
3. People were intimidated and disenfranchised and many other irregularities.

Because of some of these issues people were disappointed and many resorted to tearing and destroying their passport.

What do you think about this issue of tearing passport?
