Actually, with the pace at which dollar$ keep on gaining strength over the Naira # it's something thinkable to earn in dollars. With high rate in living, inflation of goods and services with low income rate in our local jobs here , minimum wage is #30,000 which can't be enough for ones up keep in this high rate of inflation going higher every day.

Government, has important role to play in this also. Since most of this  construction projects and many other projects that are been carried out by foreign companies,firms and organisations in this country these projects are negotiated and paid in dollars,the Government should also go into agreement with these firms, companies and organisations to pay its citizens who service will be hired in dollars this will help many Nigerian earn in dollars. Because there contract is negotiated in dollars and the voucher they send home is written that they are paying workers over here in dollars.

There are jobs online, which firms and organisations are  hiring workers in various skills. Which you can earn in foreign currencies e.g cyber security, graphic designer, market officer, video/audio editor etc. One can acquire skills that can earn you in these currency.

Sell books online via Amazon, write survey for people online. I think there are so many of it online that you can actually earn in dollars, just need the required skills.

Sorry to talk but Naira na unstable money; e dey lose value anyhow because of the unstable economy of di nation.

But if you dey earn for Dollars as Nigerian, you fit expect say di value of your earnings go dey high for short time. Dis mean say if you decide to keep di Dollar wey you earn, you go get am for higher amount later for future when you convert am to Naira.

Just imagine someone that is earning 30,000 monthly since the dollar was still valued at 500 naira and now that one dollar is rating at 985 or 1000 naira Just imagine how we expect this person to be living in this current situation as things are high as the value of the dollar is increasing more.

Having a side hustle that pays in dollars in the present economy  will really help people to stand firm financially.  But it is not that easy to get , I think what will also help people financially this hard time is to start saving in dollar since naira is loosing value every day. Even though your earnings are in the dollar it will still affect you as a Nigerian, goods in Nigeria are very expensive, so no matter the amount you earn in dollars it will still amount to nothing when you use it to purchase some stuff, earning in the dollar as a Nigerian is very difficult, where will you get such job, even Nigeria citizens working in multinational companies are been paid in naira, while foreigners in the same company are been paid in dollar, the company I know that pay their staffs with dollar is total, but if you are in the category of a contract staff you will be paid in naira, Nigerian's are not fraudsters, it would have been better for you to say that some Nigerians are into it, are you even sure of what you are saying, it is better to earn in dollar because the current exchange rate that's all I have to say.

Yes you are correct, those bad eggs among us have just made everyone look like a suspect, Even when we are doing things legitimately people don't seem to believe it at all, when they see you doing online jobs they classify you as a fraudster or a scammer. As a fact of the Local currency to had lost its value over USD ($) does not mean the naira is valueless or does not mean there are no measures one can earn profitably with the naira.
However, USD($) is just the world reserved principal currency and doesn't mean it is the most valuable or most high rated currency in the world so you don't basically point at earning with the USD($) as the most potential means of earning to end poverty our the only term where one would have a valuable earning.

Nothing dey wrong in working for dollar because na the sure bet base on how things don take dey for our country. As Nigerians earning in dollars right now will be the messiah for us to surpass this untold sufferings we face precently in this our beloved country, but you see it is not easy for us Nigerians to earn in dollars  legitimately we have a whole lot of writers, graphic designers, editors and a lots of other people out there who has the skill to work for abroad based companies and earn in dollar but its very difficult to access the legitimate sites sometimes the well established Amazon and the rest makes it very difficult for third world countries like ours unlike our counterparts from the western and more civilized world, a friend of mine was also complaining that Upwork which pays him $15 to $30 dollars pay day no longer pays him because of some few scammers from Nigeria that has spammed the site with there fraudulent activity.

It isn't easy to get jobs that pays in dollars from Nigeria and considering that most of these foreigners sees Nigerians as fraudsters, sometimes it is difficult for them to trust us on online jobs that we can do in other to earn in dollars it is just very unfortunate that some internet scammers and fraudsters have succeeded in painting our name black to the international community thereby making it difficult for foreigners to earn our trust. It is a very good way to earn in dollars in Nigeria since most of our goods we use here are imported from outside countries which they use dollar as a means of exchange. The worst of it all, is when naira appreciates against dollar, the prices of those goods will hardly fall back but rather they will remain like that. What I think the OP is trying to say is not that we should earn in dollar directly, but to earn abroad from Nigeria because the money those developed countries see as peanut money is high for us here to live a confirmable life, and I think the OP is not wrong at all but not put it exactly in the way people will understand better.

Earning in dollars isn't the problem but what if you are earning in dollars then you want to purchase things in Nigeria and we know how costly things are now, so the higher you earn in dollars, the higher you also spend it in Naira.

If you invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, that does not mean that you are earning in dollar. In fact, you are not earning in dollar but in cryptocurrencies. It is also worth knowing that most altcoins are gambling, you can lose money if you invest in them, but if you invest the amount of money that you can afford to lose in altcoins and you make money from them, it is better you convert them as fast as possible before they will lose value again.
