Neat, perfect for those who can't or don't want bother set Pi 0 & full nodes. My questions are :
1. What OS/Full node client you use?
2. If you make your own OS/full node client or modify source-code of OS/full node client, any plans to make it open-source?

Thanks! Yeah, we figured there are some people who just will never be bothered to read up on things like SSH, imaging SD cards, and building apps- so a plug-in-play option just seemed like a good fit for them.

In regards to your questions:

1. The OS that we are using for this one is a modified version of Raspbian, though we have also tested the builds on a lite version of Ubuntu, and CentOS. The build we made allows the phone to connect to the device and enables the ability to issue rolling updates and remotely control the device.

2. Oh absolutely, so we plan to make the OS open source, including all the builds. We will be releasing two different versions of the app. One that will work with nimbleNODE and the other with the open-source builds. The app that connects to the open source version would be $1-$2 at most in the app store and that's it. All we want to do is continue to build nodes, so any little bit helps with that.

We would like to introduce one of the smallest full nodes around - nimbleNODE.

A portable full node that focuses on simplicity- nimbleNODE is as affordable and customizable at it gets. Whether you need an alternative for cold storage or an option to send/receive crypto securely, nimbleNODE has got you covered! While nimbleNODE makes use of commodity hardware like the Pi and Arduino, we will be working on our own customized chips soon, that will support a wide range of node use-cases.

To pre-order and/or check out the device, visit us on the nimbleNODE site:
