Topic: Nitrogen Voiding Valid Lines, Claiming Line Was "Obviously Bad" (Read 195 times)

I have had a lot of issues with Nitrogen Sports lately. They are beginning to get on my last nerve!!!  My dad a few months ago turned .0076 into 1.41BTC
He did it in like 3 hours.  Well needless to say they "Temporarily held it from him for I believe it was 13 days... According to them the issue was (He was new) He never went in and set up the mobile Authenticator. Well not thinking my dumbass had him come over to my house and let him log in on my Home PC. Doing so caused them to redflag his acct. Then for "Security Purposes" (They did not want to have his funds stolen) They made him send the 1.41 BTC To the same address he used to deposit it... The funny part was He had purchased the original .0076 BTC from me and when I asked him for his addy he sent me his Nitrogen Address. Well needless to say I messaged them from my name and had him message support from his name. There was nothing they could do. so He at the time had to cash out his $7,000 BTC to my wallet. to be "Secure" to avoid his funds getting stolen. I am very grateful it was me that had sent the coins to him in the first place... If not my dad would have missed out on almost 7k off of a $76 buy in... lol They banned me permanently from chat for calling them out so I have not been able to chat in probably 6 months... when something like this happens I have to send a support ticket (They say 72 hours it is usually around 8-10 days though)

I just want to say on Nitrogen Sports behalf That was not a very secure way of going about things... You forced my dad to send $7,000 to luckily me and not an exchange or another individual... He was knew and knew nothing about bitcoin at the time.. I am very grateful that I was the one that made the deposit for him.  He no longer plays at nitrogen because he blew .41 of the 1.41 BTC in a period of almost 2 weeks because he could not withdraw. They practicly made him play it..  He has since stopped using Nitrogen Sports and I kind of don't blame him.  Last I knew he was still having to send the his WD to my address.  

Check my wallet  you can see where .6 I think it was was withdrawn... I HAVE NEVER HAD .6 BTC in my entire life!!!!!

I do not want to make a deposit one day then you blame me for multi accounting and steal my coins as well, I can't afford to get ripped off by them anymore...

That is just 1 of my MANY ISSUES OVER THE LAST 6 MONTHS!!!!

EDIT: Oh and I have also seen lines be Wrong and they only pay back the people who picked the correct lines even though they were listed wrong!!! They been on some real BS here lately!!! Good Luck though!!!

Azoto never convinced me and I never opened an account with them. In many years of bets, pinnacle only once canceled me a bet for a clear mistake, but behaved like gentlemen, they notified me with an email long before the game started.

yeah I saw that but I guess they haven't graded it yet cause I don't see anyone confirming getting paid

this time there was a lot of pressure from the bettors but still find nitrogen extremly shady ,  I guess you remember that guy who mentioned this happening to him in the past with a football game and you confirmed that odds were right by pinnacle

it seems they will try their best to scam unless they see pressure coming from the betting forums , which is really disgusting

Pretty disappointing that they only stepped in after a SBR complaint was made by someone on Reddit but at least it was fixed eventually.

this is a complete BS !!! if Pinnacle paid out that line then there is no reason for Nitrogen not paying legit winners !!

was the limits there high ? cause I read on SBR that sometimes nitrogen offers higher limits for popular events and most likely they didn't just hedge the bets if that was the case

someone in the past also complained about them voiding his bet even bet was graded in pinnacle , I'm gonna tag them now this is really pathetic

please update us if they fix it so I adjust the trust , I still strongly believe that this is BS and they will probably just fix it due to people complaining on reddit and SBR but this can happen anytime soon as well

I've had bookies cancel an odd, when they realize that it was a bad bet (for them), but they didn't void the odd totally, those who picked it when it was available were still eligible to win. It is unprofessional and unethical for the line to be voided totally. I have not used their service as yet, but will definitely be steering clear if the issue is not resolved amicably. and

Nitrogen is voiding the O/U 2.5 line on the Daniel Cormier v Stipe Miocic UFC fight yesterday, claiming that the line was obviously bad, and that the O/U should have been set at 4.5. This is despite Pinnacle paying out on the same line (Nitrogen mirrors Pinnacle but adds an extra edge for themselves). They also seem to be muting people in chat who are complaining. The accurate line was definitely 2.5, as every other book ran with 2.5 and paid out. The 4.5 line that Nitrogen claims would have been accurate would have been paid at around 3.25/1.33 on any other book, and not the 2.16/1.68 offered by Nitrogen.

It seems to have affected quite a few people on /r/sportsbook, and Nitrogen refuses to fix despite many complaints in the public chat as well as support.

If Nitrogen ends up not fixing their error, I highly recommend not using them. Any book that chooses to void a line simply because they lost too much money on it (I'm assuming this is the case) should be avoided.
