NLC is been control by the FG,  its unfortunate that we have bad people in all area of governance in Nigeria, people that don't have integrity are in public offices. NLC now organise protest to gain attention nothing more.  Once the FG call for a meeting and give them a token they immediately call of strike without achieving the reason they call the strike.

NLC was feared and respected  during the time of comrade Adam, he stood on his demand and never compromised. But today we have political associates in NLC. Don't expect anything from NLC till they have good leadership that will never compromised, until them don't take NLC serious, once they call for strike go about your work.

Na the weakest to act but fastest to announce say strike dey and make piple stop dia hustle for something wey no go get effect for ones. My broda FG know how to waka round Labour to get dem to agree to wetin dem want, make I remind you say no be today FG start to negotiate with labour in private wey no go get head, even if we wait till next 2 months nothing go come out. How much be 30k wey dem no fit approve as minimum wage for workers? 30k hard na 60k dem go fit approve? E no sure for dis contri my broda.

E dey pain me say NLC especially under this current leadership no they consistent and firm with their demands which na why plenty Nigerian people they Para untop NLC and E they very annoying on how them no get strong decisions wey them go make am stringent for the FG to follow. This is why if you ask someone like me, I will undoubtedly say that ASUU as a union body are more reliable than NLC hence the reason why their demands used to be taken more seriously.

Me I no believe dis strike one bit becos how long wey dem go dey chase something wey dem know say dem no go fit catch with dis dia weak force? I hear say e get when youth follow NLC for one protest nai dem say if you're not a NLC member with uniform that those people should go, nai boys leave dem and na d NLC piple feel d heat, shame catch dem. Dem call off d strike becos dem don whisper small tin for dia ears wey go make dem happy, no be say government go gree to dia demand completely oh and very soon dem go enforce another strike wey nothin go out of, I just feel for workers honestly.
I think we should agree that this present NLC chairman, in the peso of Joe Ajaero, is the weakest and most corrupt NLC chairman, Nigeria ever had.

When this action of strike supposed take effect, no be today thing. Em for be, the first day Tinubu announced the removal of fuel subsidy. Nothing was done then, which i believe the FG must have bribe the NLC to keep their mouth to see reasons with them on why fuel subsidy should be removed. Now NLC wey take the same strike action wey d miss to take then, believing that this wan go work. However, make we see how this initial gragra from NLC go end up to. Whether na to accept the 60k proposed minimum wage by FG or say no to am. All hands on deck to what unfolds between the FG and Labour, as both parties have held their first negotiation today at 1 pm

I no really understand how this country dey really go, them dey sabi whine us ehn, but dem know the people wey go believe them

Them go just bring up something to make people feel say dey won dey serious or them dey feel pain with how the country dey go about, this strike wey dey go like this, I no even understand then, them don already get wetin them want. So for me, I see am say they carry strike to take whine us.

Waiting you dey yan now true about our government, the more you look the less you see, it hard to understand them as allot of confusion is all over  nothing they even pain me reach when they also denial truth, another aspects is that even the so called labour is not even straight in their demand, as it's very unwise to keep demanding for one thing all the time without achieving it, looking at the billions of naira out leaders they embezzled in all sector and given labour 30k minimum wage age they are still accepting come today and come tomorrow negotiation is not ideal.

I hardly believe most News from our media because many are unverifiable and dance to the tune of politicians even the real truth always been tag as an alledge, the matter tire person for this country make labour know what they want and solved the problem at once.

I wan bring am to your notice sae, the embarked strike wey we think sae go stay for long, has been suspended for 5 days to give room for uninterrupted meeting with the government about the new national minimum wage.

Link for the matter: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/06/breaking-organised-labour-suspends-strike-for-five-days/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1eWN1clm--Fr1SaFBNboKAkNnDHzcCpJGYUPEMncgl3qwzzyk8LANPz0o_aem_AaMy9IHVM974Qfey-n3gvVea-0KdjnI_SFwTLz_2Ux-kVY54h8JZwUXoNJvLN660hQYKg9WR62jfbIS6bKAP4E56

Make see how the NLC and government go agree to terms with each other to the new implementation of minimum wage wey go suit in for the high cost of things for the country.

Meanwhile, make we see the minimum wage of top oil-producing African countries.

Well, looking at the pix above, are Nigeria's paid good? Considering the amount collected as minimum wage with other top oil-producing African countries?

The Nigerian government has just been unjust and not considerate in treating her citizens right. What the government cared about was spending or collecting millions of naira for themselves.

Take a look at pics below, to see how much wey Nigeria politicians d collect for themselves alone. To pay civil servant better minimum wage d hard them.

Generally, everybody get reason for their actions, whether intentional or not and we no fit categorically state which side the NLC dey on but them don come out to warn the federal government on the issue of workers minimum wage and a possible increment. We no fit tell whether them dey selfish or not but wetin we know be say when two elephants dey fight nah grass dey suffer am and as a result, schools, banks, other places don shut down temporarily till the govt come to the NLC way of thinking and I no know how true e be but ASUU don go indefinite strike, thereby affecting the education of our brothers and sisters wey dey higher institutions, sotey course wey person sopoz use 4 years finish go come extend.
Now the thing wey dey off me nah be say these government no dey feel these pains of the masses if not, wetin dey there to increase the wages of workers when e supposed be part of wetin them suppose add for budget when they draft am?
My brother the mata tire person and we no fit do much but hope say the government go listen to their demands and answer speedily.

I no nid to tok plenti about dis issue becos 99% of us know wetin this our NLC don dey do for every long time, every time strike as if dem go stand by dem words. To me dis piple no dey do all dese tins to help d poor masses but to help dia pocket any time dem run out of pocket moni. NLC no dey function as before again, no force for dia words since Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole comot body for NLC. When dis man Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole serve as president of NLC from 1999 to 2007 I tell una say as him talk the president dey give them wetin dem want but now we only get greedy set of piple for dia. Ma no tok plenti make una put mouth for dis matter if dem get better reason for dis warning strike abi wetin dem call am or na another way to take collect small tin from the president, wetin be una feel about dis matter?
