OK but so many countries in Europe and Asia has there board for example Italy, china, Germany but no African countries not even one is one the list. So I was just speculating if it hard to make one individual African  country on the list they can be grouped to regions

I would like a Nigerian board I can volunteer my time if needed. We have a general language called "pidgin enlish" it's quite understood by every one in Nigeria and in so many part of west africa

Those countries all have their own specific language. Nigeria is a mostly English speaking country as far as I'm aware. Again, local boards aren't really for specific regions but actual languages. If you want to create one for your Pidgin language then you can do so here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=11.0 but I don't think it would be very popular.

To create this board, you need first to check if there is some active here in your language here:
Other languages/locations

I looked very quickly and could not find.

There are many topic with some language which have some comments already, such as Thai, Persian, etc... but they do not have their own board yet, because there isn't enough people to justify a board.

Create a topic first for your language. If there are many users from your region, one day a board will be created.
Please post your topic here when you create it, i will give you some merits for the initiative.

It would be nice to have a board for an African language. We really miss that in the forum.

We have a local Portuguese board for everyone who speaks portuguese. There are some africans who use it, from Angola and other countries.

If you're that determined to have a local board for your country you have to follow what hilariousetc have said and that is to make your own local thread here. Once the local thread garners enough activity the admins will eventually add a local board and maybe assign a moderator (if needed).

One more thing after you make one try to ask the the mods if they can pin the thread for you so it won't get buried.

Local boards are for non-English speaking languages and Africa is a continent with many different languages. We don't need a board for Africa like we don't need one for Europe or Asia. If you want to create one for a specific African language then you can do so in 'other languages' and if it's sufficiently popular then maybe you'll get your own sub eventually.

Just going through the local board section and could not locate any African board. The forum is fill with individuals from diverse nationality and I think the forum has a healthy amount of Africans. And cryptocurrency is fast breaking into the continent and a lot of African individuals are getting involved. It would be great to have a board where you meet individuals from your continent not only because you might share common language but because you share common economical, political and financial issues and can discuss how cryptocurrency can play a role in the regards.

I doubt that African countries can be listed individually but the can be grouped by region like a West Africa board, South Africa board, North Africa board and East Africa board. Mostly African countries from a particular  region has a lot in common.

This will serve as an encouragement to African
