So you judge based on looks of a site then the actual site? That is a bad habit

Unfortunately, it's a bad habit that 90%+ of your potential user/customer base has.  People are only going to spend about 30 seconds or so on average looking at the main page before deciding whether it's worthwhile to their current objective to continue on your site, therefore initial impressions are important.

I understand that, what I mean is that people are judging on the look cause I am using twitter bootstrap, I have about ~5 sites that use twitter bootstrap and the user growth is the same as the site I created and hired a designer so I don't see how twitter bootstrap tells people that my site isn't "worthwhile" there current objective.

Plus after an inital launch most sites when they can afford it hire a designer. I love twitter bootstrap so hate me.

So you got this great idea for a new bitcoin site, product or service. Awesome, right?

You go and upload your copy of Twitter Bootstr--

NO NO NO.

NO.

You're not using bootstrap. Want to know why? Because it takes no effort and it makes your site feel like it takes no effort. It builds UI uniformity and that's bad for your brand image. And most of all, Bootstrap is bloated as hell. You don't need 4,000 lines of CSS.

Here's what you do:

You're welcome.
