The challenges of distinguishing between combatants and civilians in conflict zones are significant, and there's an ongoing debate about the ethics of such situations. It's crucial for all parties involved to prioritize the safety and well-being of non-combatants.

On a different note, as we discuss these serious matters, sometimes it's good to take a break and explore something new. Have you ever wondered, "what is yum yum sauce?". It's a delightful and creamy condiment that can add a unique twist to your meals. It's a small culinary adventure that might bring a bit of joy to your day.

They did not even confirmed they managed to kill the Hamas commander in the camp...
One must wonder what kind of things are going through the mind of the Israeli commander to bomb a camp full with innocent people just to have the chance to take down ONE objective. What the heck.

Even if a Hamas commander was among civilians, I don’t think it’s humane to bomb and kill scores of civilians who are already suffering in this conflict in a bid to kill a Hamas leader.
It’s not clear who Israel considers as the enemy as It now seems residential areas and civilians are the ones being bombed and killed. And there’s the ridiculous claim that this is a war. Israel has the upper hand here and has been meting out justice the way they see fit.

When even the United States is urging a cease fire you know the humanitarian abuses must be unimaginable. Every day the headlines get worse and worse. So much suffering for so many as the result of actions from a few. I’m now seeing headlines that Israel is claiming responsibility for an airstrike on an ambulance? So sad…

What I understood is that Israel stacked a convoy of ambulances which were heading towards Egyptian territory from a Gaza hospital, because obviously the hospital was running out of supplies and fuel to keep treating those who were seriously injured. At first, it seems there is not actual justification for the Israel defense forced to carry out just attack, so far what I have read from pro-Israel people on internet is that those ambulances were being used to transport Hamas combatants (I do not either they were injured or not, though). Either way, attacking ambulances trying to move towards neutral territory in the search for safety is a pretty dire precedent to set in a war, does not matter who is fighting.
Thruth is the first victim when a war begins, so sadly we may never know what actually is going on and whether Israel version has any credit.

Since two days ago I have started to watch some political commentators to talk about Israel actually bombing a refugee camp in the southern part of the Gaza strip, people could not believe it was the case, until the forces of Israel confirmed themselves Israel indeed bombed and killed over 50 civilians because in the camp there was a commander of the Hamas forces hiding.

The intentional bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp is a clear war crime. How will you bomb a refugee camp that is well-recognised even by Israel? I highly criticise Hamas for starting this war but the killing has gone out of hand. Many nations are now openly condemning these atrocities. Colombia, Chile and Jordan have all recalled their ambassadors and Argentina has spoken wrong about the senseless killing of innocent civilians. The claim that the strike was targeted at a Hamas commander who partook in the October 7 attacks has not been confirmed. This means Israel killed 50 and 150 injured innocent people because of speculation. There should be a humanitarian ceasefire and dialogue should begin. Joe Biden said it was time to find the Israeli hostages but this can be achieved through prisoner swap. These killings should stop.

Give all before death
Emad Abuaassi, a Palestinian who moved to Gaza from Blackpool in the UK just under a year ago, says he has been living with more than 50 members of his family in his brother's flat in Khan Younis, Gaza.
This morning he was able to find pasta but no bread.
In a voice note to the BBC, he says: "I reckon in the next two, three days people are going to start killing each other for a bit of food here.
"You go to buy a bit of bread, you'll see people stabbing each other just for the sake of a bag of bread."

Life in Gaza is now the survival of the fittest. Hunger and taste can turn humans to become crude and brutish like wild animals. Men can steal, injure, or kill because of food and you can't blame them because it is unthinkable to see your children die of hunger and do nothing. This is a situation that was created by Hamas and is now promoted by the US. The US is the machine that provides and sharpens the knife of the butcher.

After the death of 8,800 people, including 3,500 innocent children, for the first time, President Biden is asking for a pause. Israel and its allies are not just killing people with guns and bombs but through hunger and taste. I am grateful to Egypt and all the nations that have sent aid in the form of food, medicine, and other provisions. Let's see how things will turn out after the main supporter of this massacre has stylishly called for a cease-fire.

Such a tragedy being made worse. Seeing citizens attacking storage depots for food is one of the more sad events I’ve seen in my lifetime. I couldn’t imagine if that was the only option I had left to try and feed my family.

Hmm

Israel doesn’t steal our money. We happily defend Israel because there are those who want to wipe them off the map.

So you wouldn't want to imagine how would that feel when it's about your family, but you are happily funding Israel to that to other people's families. Cheesy

It is truly heartbreaking to imagine the desperation and fear that comes with such scarcity of basic necessities like food. I hope that the situation improves soon and that aid and support can reach those in need. What they done and what they want? There are childs there are women. Where are those NGO's which always talk about the Humanity now they have closed their eyes. Disappointed 😞😞😞.

Looks like you were off by a couple days but in fact it does look like killing for food is now the norm over there.
Palestinians will never do that. Please, check your facts /.

Anyway, I also saw the video of that statement. I think what that depict is that the war has caused serious hardship in the Palestine territory making food a very scarce commodity. Of course that should be expected with the continuous bumping going on in the area. Hence that is a call for humanitarian support and not that human beings would take the life of another person for food. At least I believe it won't get to that, aids will come in at least from the arab countries.

This is the more reason why the best way to resolve a conflict is through dialogue rather than going to war because war comes with lots of damages leading to loss of lives and facilities of an individual or a country.

Just imagine how Hamas took a wrong decision to attack Israel without thinking about some impeding dangers that it will impose on residents and individuals living in Gaza. I'm too worried about innocent children that are going through severe pain and hunger at a very tender age like this. Now, this can still lead to more conflict because there's going to be a fight for survival of the fittest because the relief materials that the UN are sending to them might not be enough thereby some persons will want to monopolize the palliatives to their loved ones thereby still gonna create a conflict and disagreement among themselves.

It is important for everyone to use what is happening between other countries now as a food for thought because those that mostly solicit for war, have never gotten a taste of what war is all about. Just look at how everyone in Gaza is suffering both the rich and the poor everyone is suffering together so.no matter how intense an issue is, going to war should never be an option.

It was completely expected to happen, to be honest. Sooner or later people will start to fight, rob or kill in order to get food, because we are talking about a society which was left with no power, water and food as a political mean to punish for the actions of a terrorist organization, which coincidentally blends itself among civilians.
Very sad, considering civilians did not even choose to have such a destiny in the hands of the Israel army, anyone there could be as apolitical as possible and yet they still would need to evacuate and flee their homes if they wished to have a minimum chance of survival.

I can't even imagine how tough it must be for families like Emad Abuaassi's, struggling just to get food on the table. It's not just their problem, it's a human problem. I feel the need to do something about it, I think most people here too. Whether it's spreading the word, donating, or finding ways to help out. No one should have to go through that kind of hardship. It just doesn't seem right.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. I am seeing so many awful stories coming out of Gaza, I hope for peace ASAP.
There are far too many innocent civilians getting caught up in this needless conflict. I am really disappointed in both sides that people in power are not pushing hard for peace talks, the bloodshed must stop.

Peace - in what form will that take? bombing to stop? ground invasion cancelled?
safe passage for palestinians from Gaza to West Bank and back? Israel to stop new
settlements?

There will never be peace. Israel are currently bombing civilians thinking they are
actually attacking Hamas, Hamas are sheltering in tunnels or are gone.

What is happening now is Israel is fuelling more hatred by their actions in bombing and
blocking much needed fuel and supplies.

Peace would take the establishment and complete recognition of both the State of Israel and also the State of Palestine in the middle east and not only that but also the complete disbandment of nationalist groups and politicians in Israel and Palestine, those who encourage the killing of innocent children and civilans and also those who establish outlawed settlements in land that does not belong to them.

The main root of the evil which we all are witnessing in the middle east comes mostly from the ambition of destroying the opponent and conquer  as much Holy Land as possible. Only with respect and isolating extremist we will have a chance of not getting more bad news from Gaza and the east Bank.

We should all hope for a solution because the rate at which people are dying every day is truly sad The war should stop How will the war stop The two superpowers are fueling the war directly or indirectly as they seek to assert each other's position and strength through this war and continue to suffer There is no one to have this discussion where the Palestinian and Israeli common people end up Israel has crossed the highest limit of their barbarity now they must stop or I think Israel will shoot itself in the foot because its friends are helping that's for sure but for a while When a situation like Ukraine is created, it will be very difficult to return to our previous position from that situation. Now Israel can't stand with us they are indiscriminately killing the common people of Palestine in revenge the attack on the hospital is a disgraceful event in world history I know it shouldn't be so cruel The people of Gaza are now suffering from severe food shortages. Different countries are sending different aid but it is not reaching them. Israel must remember the human rights issue.Every state should bring the two sides together and come to a decision to stop this war or come up with a fair plan to ensure the survival and necessities of the common people That should be ensured and both sides should refrain from oil spill policy and trade arms with people should come out of the policy.

BBC is most clueless pro Hamas propaganda outlet.
Has BBC retracted its Hamas statement propaganda yet, where BBC blamed on Israel and BBC was proven wrong?
BBC should come clean and stop spreading Hamas propaganda.

I just think this is about power drunk and show of supremacy but it is taking a bad effect on the people. I have watched very gory report from the war and that is not making me happy. Civilians are the worst hit and that makes it meaningless to target on harmless people. We pray that the peace talk will soon be unheld to avert the looming WW3 because things are really getting out of hand in the fight. Israel kept bumping and declaring to wipe out everyone in Gaza. Stop the bumping and let peace return.

We pray that the peace be restored to all the affected regions, Israel in this case is not a linient country like that when it comes to war, but the people being affected whom most are civilians are the major reason why this should be stopped, we hope that there's more light coming into this and Gaza to regain her freedom back, those suffering the casualties are more than the unaffected, families have been separated, some are dead or in lack and to eat a day becomes a serious problem, things cannot keep going this same way, just as Russia Ukraine war, everything needs to end for peace to reign.

I am very sad about what has happened to the world recently, just as we were free from the deadly Covid-19, we were faced with the Russian and Ukrainian wars which created instability in the world, now the Israeli and Hamas wars continue. Do we never get tired of killing each other? will we never learn what happened in WW2, tens of millions of lives were lost. It is always civilians who become victims of the selfishness of those in power. May eternal peace come soon and there will be no war anywhere anymore. condolences to both parties affected by this war.
