You can add that info on "other contact info" field though. I'm not really sure this is an urgent matter actually, and the forum is going to be migrated soon.
what do you mean is going to be migrated
They're developing their own forum software called EpochTalk. The forum currently uses SMF 1.1.19 (which is a super old forum software based on PHP).

All our profiles and posts will be migrated to the new software. So there will be more features there.

Well most of the profile information option are out of date sites, that no one really used any more.
If those could be scrapped, it could be replaced with more current and relevant accounts. <…>
I’ve looked over the current number of profiles that have this information filled in currently, and the figures are pretty low:

ICQ: With data on 3.780 accounts (1.663 of those accounts active in 2018).
AIM: With data on 11.567 accounts (3.808 of those accounts active in 2018).
MSN: With data on 13.921 accounts (4.567 of those accounts active in 2018).
YIM: With data on 12.019 accounts (4.084 of those accounts active in 2018).

And that is not even going into the content which is often bogus or used for other purposes.

If those could be scrapped, it could be replaced with more current and relevant accounts. Discord would surely be one of them.
For now you can fill it in the space for 'additional informations or any where you deem fit on your profile.

You can put your discord information in your signature, if you REALLY care about it...

Well I don't think that is much of a big worry and also discord is not the most used social media platform so why are you really complaining you can attach your discord profile in some of you post or an introduction post. This is bitcoin talk and not a place we exchange social media accounts information

Or you can add it in your Personal Text[1] box, so it appears with every reply you type "just as it does when you add an account to MSN/ICQ."
Modifying social media seems an easy task, but maybe even these tasks need a lot of time and therefore not a top priority.

I was checking Forum Profile Information page and I noticed there is no Discord option? only Skype and old messaging softwares, I think many people today use Discord more than Skype (me included), there should be an option for that in the profile
