From a real view, there is money online and that is a fact, but it is determined by dedication. This dedication could be by time, money, knowledge or all put together as said by OP. When there was really free money in the crypto world was at the early times of 2011 thereabout, cause there where lots of good faucets that did really pay, all because their payings where small in price but they where successful project (coins) that are currently in the crypto community. But now, time, money, knowledge and dedication are needed to succeed in the finance available on the internet.
That's it...NO FREE Money on the internet and that is why we should world on it. And those people saying there is, that is obviously a big scam in real life. Nobody gives us free money and that is what we have to remind ourselves and never get fooled by a person who offers like that.

Too hard to think that many were still believing that FREE.
I'd just talk about airdrop before was good and turn into money somehow but for now, that ain't working and only shitcoins. We can no longer see good airdrops but just a waste of time.

Adding up to this, report to whatever hosting site they're using. I reported one of the sites that tried to bait my wallet as they know that I was using MEW wallet file which is the most unsecured way of holding tokens.  Usually they're going to use shared hosting sites like 000webhost as it is free and anyone could just take advantage of the free tier.

There are too many scam modes in the crypto world and we really have to be more careful. With attractive offers and make easy profits, people will easily believe in scammer. It is true that it is said that making money or making a profit is not that easy which only relies on luck one of which is by surrendering the capital we have in the hope of making a profit. to make a profit we need to increase our knowledge and skills about it, whether it's trading or investing. So get a profit with our own efforts, at least we have tried as much as possible rather than relying on other people and ending up in a scam.

The best scam protection for cryptocurrency lovers or anyone is to always have a mindset that their is no free money or cryptocurrency that can be earned anywhere. To earn free money and cryptocurrency  has always  been a tradition to scam, especially online.  This  method  of scam strategy  gets increasing everyday.

As someone who used to report scams frequently in the scam accusation board, I remember seeing a lot of posts about people getting scammed due to airdrops that are given free or faucets that contain malicious links that are injected in their wallets. Unfortunately, the only way that can remedy their situation is by reporting those scams since they cannot, in any way, recover their lost BTCs.

That is why, it is very important that you mentioned OP that there can never be any website that provides free BTCs in any way. Either they are trying to promote a scam that contains viruses or they tend to advertise their program for free.

Joining bounty and airdrop which everyone said it's free upon joining and the fact it isn't, requires you to fulfill the task so that you are illegible to claim the airdrop.

Overall, that's a good point, there's no free money on the internet.
You need capital for all of that. Although it is not always tangible money there is no free money given, unless you ask the parents for money and they give it. Everything that is done for money requires reciprocity to the giver of money. It must happen that the money giver certainly does not want himself to lose, although only a few conditions it must happen.
Joining bounty and airdrop need capital? Which capital are you refers?

Bounty and airdrop summarize:
1. Post POA, join the group, follow the social media.
2. Fullfil the task: post (signature), retweet, share, create video, article, translations)
3. Submit your KYC (if they ask)
4. Got the bounty distributions.

That's it, correct? there's no capital or money involved... but KYC/personal information are important and many people usually pay someone to get his KYC, but actually you didn't pay anything in bounty or airdrop.

Time and effort can be converted to money so even if you didn't place any capital by joining at any bounty campaign still you invested your time and effort to fullfil those task what the manager ask you to do, so in the end you lose something especially when the campaign owners didn't follow what they promise and run away.

In bounties and airdrop you will also be asked to perform some certain task, So I would say those tasks you perform are equivalent of the money your were suppose to pay.

Well for me --the word free still exist on the internet but if this is you are willing to exchange your time and effort with a tiny free given away on the internet. Faucet and airdrops still do exist.
Faucets will require you to be solving captcha before a very little tiny amount will be given you, at least you still work for it, the faucet site will gain for the captcha you are solving but out of 100% profit, the faucet sites will gain most while using people to make the profit and give very tiny amount to the people. Faucet is not free, people work for it but in a simple way.

Airdrops are not also free, or may be it has been the airdrops I have done before, they are requiring me to advertise them on social media, Twitter and tiktok most especially. That is not also free.

Airdrops can still also lead to scam. Out of 100% airdrops, over 90% are now scam.

In cryptocurrency airdrops which is been massively abused by scammers and many has channelled their focus on it has the see it as the easiest way to get attention of newbiea who wish to earn from crypto. Even airdrops aren't free in real sense. A new year Is gradually approaching and new techniques would be deployed by this scammers. Going with the saying no free money over the internet might serve as a guide to newbies seeking to make some free fund

And basically I  will always agree with the statement " No free money or cryptocurrency ",
That's an investment if we talked about you earned money from money.

But I tend to agree, there's no free money on the internet, it required always an exchange like time, effort or services that you have offered.  Even though faucet that everyone thinking it's free and the fact it's actually no because it requires for you to consume your time collecting faucet.

We live in the world is always because we do something. We spend energy, time, and money.
If we are talking about spending money to earn money, this always becomes a problem because sometimes many people lose their money when willing to earn money. It is because of scam investment, scam project, trading lost and many others.
However, actually there are some ways of earning money without spending money directly (I mean depositing, buying and others), like what some programs offered here, but once more, be careful and smart in choosing which programs are exactly valuable.

And basically I  will always agree with the statement " No free money or cryptocurrency ",

Even in Freetown, they will tell you that you've to pay for your meals; it's never free. In my local parlance, there's that saying that freebies have their consequences. Let me translate it loosely, "Freebies make you purge". Meaning that one has to suffer something for accepting a freebie. Therefore, it's a commonsensical thing to first look for that trap before accepting anything that's given for free. I know there are exceptions to this but often it's true. In crypto, there's no free money in the real sense of it because there's always a task to be done first before one is rewarded, even with airdrops.

You know every single day I browse on my iPad, I see different methods and strategies that gurus come up with just to make money coverteously from people's purses and it sometimes works; the thing is, if you're eager to earn without learning, you must always fall a victim of this fraudsters.
People just like where they can easily get credited for just maybe sharing a giveaway post for a company or putting in their money believing that it gonna fetch them few more bucks in turns, lol.
How long is it gonna take some peeps to understand that NOTHING GOOD COMES EASY!?

That will be the thing we should have to keep in mind but too unfortunate that lazy people got to fall into that kind of trick.

"You can earn $100 by doing these simple things bla bla..." It can't be literally considered as FREE money, it is still the exchange to our services but some people will think it as they don't need capital (money) to have those $100. But if someone offers you to like " To double your money every hour by having some deposit"...that is obviously a scam, But I can't imagine why some people never saw it.
Well, I can't blame them, anyway as we all wanted to have money but sometimes we also need to think if that is right or wrong, or else, we just got scammed.

In the world where you and I live, it is necessary to note that no achievements is free and easy, there's always a price to pay for them, yes the may not require same level of commitment but the all require commitment in a way.

They may be no free money like OP has said but they're cases where the struggle for money isn't the same as the others, I know people who pay huge amount of money for others to trade for them, to this persons, they outcome can be termed free because the didn't have to work for it, the only committed themselves to it by providing the resources that yielded further fruits.

Many jump into crypto with intention that it's a short way of becoming rich and they fell prey to scammers that offer attractive profits with small investment. As it's said, "If you're getting something for free, you are the product". Scammers are using you as a product by offering you free money.

The only factor i can consider that their is no free money in cryptocurrency generation is trading aspect of cryptocurrency, because in trading your profit come through a target, calculation and your ability of observation and monitoring the bases of coins regulations, but in actual sense, their is no free money in all aspects of life, you most create an impact that will activate your money in all forms.

Even noticeable that gambling via betting of games and finally you happen to be one of the winner, it's not a free, so using this medium to recapitulate, not on earth is Free irrespective the possible means you merit it.

There is nothing free in this world. This also happens in the cryptocurrency. Everything needs something to get other things.
Moreover in the cryptocurrency world, we also need money to get something, even we are trying to join free program to get any coins, we need to spend money at first to do that. Or we need to do something to earn the coins.
Such as buying internet connection provider and also many others. Moreover if it is about trading or  investing, mostly will need money at all.
That is why we must be careful when spending money in the crypto world. Never trust anyone you don't know exactly.

People participate in bounty or airdrops might call it a free money but honestly is not free because you work for it because you pay for the internet which you use and also you invested your efforts and time so I just believe is the reward for the work which you have done and it's not free.

I always say, "nothing is free in the world". Even a legit site gives you free money for some task that is not free at all. You are spending time there to complete the task. The greedy behavior is responsible for most of the scams in the cryptocurrency community. We can't control ourselves once we see some greedy offers appear in front of us. We can't prevent that really because of newbies. Always many new people coming into crypto and they are unaware of the basic scam. They think earning money from the Internet is very easy, but the reality is different. We have to build our skills first before earning money. That's what we need to explain to our nearest newbies and make awareness among the crypto community.

Totally agree with this. People think airdrops are free money, in reality no projects pay for free without doing any tasks.
I don't know why some people easily send their private documents such as ID cards and driver's licenses. They even don't think it is priceless, it basically cannot be exchanged for a few dollars only. Even worse, they are doing it for a new crypto project without thinking it may be a scam. I thought many of us think unrealistically once seeing a free money offer. They only focus on how to earn it soon, not afraid about what to happen with our private documents then. Well, considering this fact, I assume there are still many people who need serious learning or lesson about crypto business and the risks involved.
Hai mate, bounty hunters don't seem to worry about KYC as they have no other option to earn token or coin once the job is done. Some of them may leave a campaign that required them to KYC from the start, but not with KYC requests made after the campaign is over.

They will never care about the security of their document because what they care about is the result of their work as bounty hunters. Most of them know about the risks, but they ignore them so any advice given is useless. If you say they are willing to sell the document for just a few dollars, they will probably deny it.

Bitcoin giveaways, investment with unrealistic returns and anything it is too good to be true is nothing but a scam.

I bet there are people who still think there is a thing as a giveaway for bitcoin. It is time people start thinking that there is no Santa Claus in business. We only find them in charitable organisations and that is because that is where they are planted to be. No where else do we find them except during Christmas. Believing in free money in cryptocurrency is an easy mean for anyone to allow themselves to get scammed.
Donations are exists but no one else is going to throw their money away which can be realized with common sense and sometimes it can be overcome by our greed that is why we should be more emotionless to become a better investor.

There are also airdrops, which look to be free but they are not.
You need to give your e-mail address, sometimes even send documents (KYC) , name  address...
You are basically selling your personal data for a few cents. Your documents may be used in malicious activities and you may face problems

Well this kind of reminded me of that previous earning platform, I worked at. It is all annotations and transcribing stuffs and they have referral links for each user that they can share to others. The catch is they have to purely work and at least earn $20 before they can credit that referral reward to your account.
Mostly it is either that or a percentage of referred people's points/credits  that will be credited to you now these days.

The idea of free money or some free cryptocurrency is what have gotten many persons scammed. Some persons just want to get rich at no cost or maybe a little insignifant investment and other times, it might be significant but at a very short time frame. Sadly, it would all run into shit in no time. There is no free money anywhere, no give away or some miracle Airdrop that would go to the moon in no time. Everything comes out of some serious work to research things out.

I saw free earnings a few years ago. This is the most common referral program. The person simply created a group of people who worked under his referral link; thus he received not bad percentages from the earnings of his referrals.
But only a few can organize this, and everyone else, if they want to make money, will, of course, have to work.
And from this comes a good conclusion, if you do not want to work for an uncle, become such an uncle yourself. Learn, develop, invest your time in education, and only then can you say that money can come for free.

Yep. If anything, creating a good number of referrals under you does require some skill(probably unless all you did was to send the link to a few friends). Heck, even creating bots that spam on social media actually requires some work and skill despite being a not-so-recommended method.

If you don't pay anything and you get something that can be converted into cash, that's called free especially it drops your wallet as simple as that. I don't believe there is no free money cause literally there are. For those who aren't believers then don't no one forcing you to believe it. But in my experience, I got some free tokens that literally gave me free for doing something that aren't expected. If you think that's not a free cause you did or exert less time then I don't know.

Yes your right about the airdrops. Airdrops is the best example of free money that you've received from other wallets to yours.but this is once in your life  and not for long terms if some sites offered an free money that you don't have a bet or  deposit then you will get a profit I think there's a chance to say that it is a scam.

Anyway congrats to your token received from airdrops.

Well for me --the word free still exist on the internet but if this is you are willing to exchange your time and effort with a tiny free given away on the internet.
That's what exactly he's saying. You've got the free time and for you to have something that's valuable like money, you have to exchange it for a service that you can offer.

Faucet and airdrops still do exist. Many people and many of my friends have still working on it and patiently waiting when the airdrop has value. I know airdrop is not free at all because it asks of a task which is in exchange for their token, but considering you did not invest anything so that is free.
As far as I understand the word free is you don't have to invest or use cash to have crypto, if you own crypto without using cash but in exchange with your time and effort, considering it is free for me, that is an opportunity.
Well, that's a good definition of free. Although there's no assurance in airdrops, you can win a one-time big time there if you get the right airdrop. I've seen a lot of times airdroppers got to earn a lot and became lucky with what they've held and received through an airdrop.

On the other hand, there are also a lot of newbies who fell victim to scams that do not offer free money. Lest we forget, one of the most, probably the most, widespread scams is that of investment opportunities promising very high ROI. These scams are not offering free money. But they offer that which you said could bring money. By investing, therefore risking, a certain amount.

So my point is that the best scam protection is not only to generalize that there is no free money. That is actually not a strong protection. The strongest protection against scam is research.

I believe it's almost a known fact that there is no free money anywhere. Nothing is free even in Freetown. But sometimes the word "free" is used to denote the "passiveness" of the income.
Just because you were not heavily involved in the money making process does not make the profit a free money. Even people that send in money for trading, I think their money works for them, so the return should not be tagged free.

In other words, what you call free is another man's sweat but you scamingly denied him his reward.

The best scam protection for cryptocurrency lovers or anyone is to always have a mindset that their is no free money or cryptocurrency that can be earned anywhere.
I have been an adult for a very long time and I haven't seen anywhere money is easily gotten without breaking a sweat, and I don't familiarize with the concept of crypto-currency holding the keys to easy money, it was never on the blue print. I was reading up YouTube and saw a reply where someone was beginning a YouTuber to take his money and double it for him via Crypto trading. Those are the type of ignorant that -Newbies- make and loss their money.

There is nothing like  "earn free money or cryptocurrency anywhere". Money  can be earned  only by paying a price which could be.
Earning freely is even still better but there are ways scammers can use to later scam the person after not giving the person any money. But scammers also still do it in a way you will have to pay, which makes it not to be free. If the person pay, the person will be scammed. Example is the Elon Musk Saturday Night Life where a scammer in an ad people thought to be Elon Musk. The scammer displayed to people to pay an amount of doge and they will get it back in double. The scammer gained overe 5 million dollars worth of doge at the time.

Back then, they were kind of worth it. I started holding Bitcoin during the start of 2017 where they weren't that really worth the work anymore. I still recall having to register multiple websites to "at least make it worth", but having the minimum satoshi which was around 20k sat is already exhausting to do considering that I have more productive activities to do the whole day.
I wonder how were faucets for those that have been holding Bitcoin since 2011-2013.

There is no free lunch.

You have to work, pay cost before you can earn anything from market. Cost can be from paid-courses or from your loss by trading or investment.
In crypto market, if you luckily join in bullish time, and get luck, you can get good profit in short period. However, if you lack of experience and can not control your actions, you will lose it very fast.

In the end, you end with nothing from market and worse you can lose your capital too.

In the case of faucets, they give so little that I do not doubt that it covers the cost of the electricity or battery you spend.

If we look at the value in fiat, then faucets pay almost the same as 5-6 years ago, only the amount in crypto decreased, which is logical given that the price of BTC has risen several dozen times since then. I know this because I earned my first BTC just like that, but then it wasn't hard to earn BTC, because you could collect 500 000 satoshi a day.

Then, if you withdraw a lot from different faucets you will have a lot of small inputs and you will have to pay a high commission to spend them (if you don't learn to consolidate inputs in times of low fees). But well, it's not all bad. Faucets are a first approach to Bitcoin. I think many of the forum used them at the time.

Most faucets today use something called microwallets, and they used them 5-6 years ago - it all comes down to collecting small payouts from faucets, and then when you reach the desired threshold you request a withdrawal to your coin address. It is a myth that still lives on, but has been completely inaccurate for many years.

As for earnings, if you have a certain number of referrals (active) on one of today's popular faucets, you can earn a decent amount per month - especially if you live in a third-world country.

It's always the same when we hit peek cycle. Everyone and their moms who heard about crypto start peeking out and wanting to earn a quick buck. And I always tell them to just stop and think things through, not rush into anything, especially with their hard-earned money. This is not a closed club, everyone can join in, but not haphazardly.

The thing is, many people erroneously see cryptocurrencies as a scheme to basically just get rich fast, and not just that, they also think that 'wealth' will come to them with little or zero effort, and as a result of that, they are allured to jump on anything that looks good, and you do not expect them to be conversant with the axiom of : "anything that looks too good to be true, is most prolly a scam", and as such, this sort of people get easily scammed, lose a whole lot of their funds, and get to learn about crypto the 'hard way'.

Having said that, it's not just about people coming to the realization that there is nothing such as free money, they must also acquire the necessary and requisite knowledge of cryptocurrency, such as understanding its security protocols and modus operandi of scammers, that way they'll be aware when conversing with a possible scammer. Garnering knowledge is what a whole lot of newcomers need to thrive in the network.

You are on point about earning for free. But what's more prone in scams are those with capitals and ready for investment. They're looking for a way to increase their holdings and that's why they're falling into scam investment traps.

Little did they know that a legitimate investment is also the same in the real world where interest rates aren't that much. And if the interest rate given to them is too good to be true and they're likely to be encouraged to invest because of the high return, that's where they should be doubtful with it.

The only thing that is free is that when someone donates money to you. Then you use that money to buy and hold crypto. Or you can use it to buy either ETH, BNB, SOL, MATIC, etc., for covering gas fees in receiving airdrop tokens and trade them on available exchanges.

Airdrops still exists not really a huge fan if it but people made huge amount of money with UNI airdrop so there are some exceptions but there is no free money because no one is going to give you money without any benefits for them. Bitcoin giveaways, investment with unrealistic returns and anything it is too good to be true is nothing but a scam.

Free money only comes to people who are not working and risking, here in crypto, it's not happening because we need to have knowledge and to risk our money in order to gain, maybe some earn crypto through bounties or whatever their work online but it's not free, they work for it and they wouldn't get paid for the job if they don't do it right.

Crypto gives an opportunity to earn or to make money but it does not come for free, that's the reality.

Money  can be earned  only by paying a price which could be.

The type of material scams is even a pay one, the scammer will ask the victim for some money as capital which will grow many times over. If it's a "free money" scam, there are 2 possibilities based on their target which they will basically steal someone's money.

First, you are not the main target, just using you to spread the word such as scam ads with the lure of the referral system (this happens a lot through telegram bots). On this case, you're somewhat lucky. All you sacrifice is energy and time.

Or you as the main target. Scammers don't care how much money you have as long as they have a chance to steal it. For example, a lot of new scam exchanges appeared during the IEO hype a few years ago. I was offered many free trading balances by those scammers on the condition that I only had to pay a "withdrawal fee". Even though I was more stupid in the past, luckily I also didn't have any money.

Yes it's not bad — well, years ago when bitcoin was still in the hundreds(or lower) and when we could still send the faucet sats around multiple wallets. Obviously this really isn't viable for a while now; unless we're talking about faucets on Lightning.

There's no such thing as free money with cryptocurrencies and there's no free money in general. People always think that getting something easily like with airdrops and faucets means it's "free money"; but in fact you're exchanging your precious time for a few cents. If anything, it's a total waste of the most valuable currency known to man — time.

There is nothing like  "earn free money or cryptocurrency anywhere". Money  can be earned  only by paying a price which could be.
* Dedicating time on something to earn money.
* Earning money through knowledge.
* investing on money or something  else to earn more money.( not ponzi scheme and other fake online  investments).

There are also airdrops, which look to be free but they are not.

You need to give your e-mail address, sometimes even send documents (KYC) , name  address...
You are basically selling your personal data for a few cents. Your documents may be used in malicious activities and you may face problems, even your reputation might be at risk.

No doubt that people trying to get free money are the main victims of scammers.

Many people mostly newbies to the crypto world see its a passive income because the different advertisement just makes an investment and let the market go with the flow and earn your profit, some of them just know ups and downs. Some of them get stuck with their investment because they invest without having prior knowledge and just push through the urge or hype of other people. After that few of them makes a re-investment again because they want to earn it back and some of it already quit because they are afraid already to make risk
