Every action taken in the crypto world is determined over time. The day of investing into the crypto world shows the start of your own crypto journey which is not a wrong time, but the perfect timing to come in. At every point in time at which one joins the system, there is a coin that has good trends within that period and a coin that has good potentials, taking that risk is what counts as the years goes bye. Bitcoin might has gone too expensive to have a full Bitcoin at onces, but there are some coins that are very cheap that can be purchased now, and over the years can give a high and impressive returns.
One rule in crypto that doesn't change no matter the time you join the system is be patient and never invest the money that you can't afford to lose. If you can obey this rule, then your stay will be without regrets.

I often see people complain bitterly about the opportunity they missed years ago. Infact, I am one of the people. But, it just occurred to me that there is no late commer in the world of Cryptocurrencies. More coins are introduced everyday. There are numbers of low coins you can buy and hold now, your inability to do it now may also result to regret in 5years time.

The major challenge is information, now you are informed, it's your morning, you are not late. If you think some coins are so expensive, buy the inexpensive ones. No one knows the pregnancy that carries a king.
Thanks!

Obviously not too late. We have so many coins which are best and cheap enough to buy now. Yes, Bitcoin is really far high for a small investors to buy more, however he or she can buy the best coin that has huge trading volume and the price is cheap. But yes, I too felt that I should have bought as much as I could in 2016 when Bitcoin was around $500.  Everyone here might have such feelings. Still its the best time to purchase more and more and learn a lot about Bitcoin and other crypto stuffs/networks/technologies. Those who are here, are really so lucky yes.

No one knows the pregnancy that carries a king.
I agree with this one hundred percent, no one knows that coin or token that will make one a millionaire....

After all said, i concur that there is no late comer in crypto, as long as New projects/coins are being launched everyday in their tens and hundreds.
But am still of the opinion that the earlier one gets involved, the better, you have more opportunities and chances of succeeding than those joining late.
To illustrate, I doubt you will find anyone who's been involved in crypto since 2009 who haven't made it in millions today, if there be any, they would be very very few of them which be due to one or two mistakes they made.

As a conclusion, it's heart lifting to know that no time is late to join crypto, but again, I retreat that the earlier one starts investing in crypto, the better for such person.

Don't know about you guys but I feel pretty late.  Undecided

You are not late till cryptocurrency gets mass adoption. You simply have missed several chances to earn. Your earning process simply will be more complicated than for those guys who had discovered cryptocurrency 5-7 years ago. However, for you everything will be much easier to understand or achieve, as now there are thousands of faqs, tips, guides, strategies, compared to cryptocurrency pioneers,  who achieved everything via thousands of tests, issues and underwater stones.

That's the advantage of gaining practical experience that we can teach others what not do. Learning from others' mistakes is a skill that not everyone can achieve.
Although he might feel late but we all are still early in the crypto community than the rest of the non-crypto people.
According to few reports less than 10% of the world population have invested in cryptocurrencies and if that is true then just think how many more earning opportunities are still there waiting for people like us to be grabbed.
So just keep hustling and gaining knowledge because that's what will be the most valuable in future.

So true. Cant disagree with all of what you have written. To bad that IIrik11 post was about being late to buy Bitcoin @ the price of $1k-10k (probably). While most care about money, only few care about technology. Learning is never late. For me, there is so much to discover in cryptocurrency, so much to invent.

It's not actually a bad thing to feel that way because at one point in the past even I had the same feeling.
I wished that I could have known about bitcoin long ago so that I could have accumulated more of these precious coins.
Most of the people feel the same things.

Some people bought bitcoin at $1000 but felt they are late because they could have bought it for $100.
Some people bought bitcoin at $10000 but felt they are late because they could have bought it for $1000.
Some people bought bitcoin at $60000 but feel they are late because they could have bought it for $10000.

This will never stop. Even if IIrik11 buys bitcoin at $60k. There will be someone calling him lucky to get in at $60k since they would have bought for a higher price.

Obviously majority came here for profitability since crypto has lot to offer if we just smart on creating decisions on it and the technology is just a second outlook for the people who used it since for now there are only few merchants accept bitcoins and this is not accessible to all user around the globe. But if major adoption will came and we can see majority of physical merchants will accept it for sure we can see people join because they want to make their life more easy and convenient at all times by using crypto or especially bitcoin.

No one can certainly know the future, the reason why most of us have this regret of not buying before when the price of bitcoin and altcoins are still cheap. But it happened already, we are still fortunate that we're able to witness the growth of bitcoin and had the chance to gain during bullrun 2017 and this year.

Give no room for regrets and thinking that the train left that if you invested in cryptocurrency a decade earlier you will likely to become millionaire now. As long as you are still alive and kicking, there are always opportunities knocking. Besides, cryptocurrency is still evolving.

Well yeah, learning from other people's mistakes is valuable and can be a lesson for us not to do the same things later.
But, learning from our own mistakes, that's more valuable because we definitely understand what happens, what lack, and what's happening at that time. So, we can take them as lessons, repair the mistakes, fill the gaps, and also prepare the ways much better.
Btw, learning from mistakes mare useful enough, but hopefully, we are not always learning something from similar mistakes always.  Cheesy

I second your thoughts, and I believe that if many of us had joined the network earlier than we did, we prolly would have lost our funds to scammers, and we may not have had the sort of knowledge at our disposal at the moment. Newcomers in the network need to understand that accumulating crypto is important, but what's most important is keeping it safe, that is, not losing it to scammers, and one can only do that through garnering sufficient knowledge.

Thus it really doesn't matter if you feel you're late or not, if at the time you get on the crypto train, you make it a necessity to build your crypto knowledge and build yourself up, then you've achieved a lot more than people who came earlier than you, but with lesser knowledge.

We all tend to get shortsighted when we get into the crypto bubble and fail to look at the big picture sometimes. The fact of the matter is that we all are not čate, we are actuaččystill super early in all of this. Late to getting rich by investing just 100$?

Yep, if they see the trend of the prediction line, those who say it's too late because the price is already expensive are wrong. Currently crypto is developing, the opportunity to improve the welfare of life through crypto is still open. They only learn enough by taking advantage of the moment, because it is this volatility of values that we use to make a profit. Crypto will always be open to the public, as long as there are no rules and laws that prohibit it from being used.
It has been common to think like that as they come late but that is not the fact who comes first or who comes late as this matters on the individual strategies. Maybe we could think that they have the chance to get Bitcoin at a cheaper price 10 years ago but are they hold them until today? It could be a big question but I don't think they still have them, it probably the sell them 10 years ago as well.
It is definitely doesn't matter on the time but it all matters on your strategies.

Crypto currency does not think of when you started, being in crypto only requires your dedication and personal sacrifices of your time to start. With the aim of achieving big in crypto, there are different fields you go into which can pay off. When you start investment, you have to look at how promising the coin you want to invest in is,do your research about it,and  invest.

In crytocurrency, when evere you start is when you start, there is nothing like not starting early or starting late,in as much as you have the zeal to do well, you will certainly do exceptional.

Hope is like that, how many people think like that, I think only a few percentages think like that, most people are impatient and complain too much when the expected is not achieved, that's the crypto world.

Your words have good points for newcomers, I hope those who are new to wanting to get involved in the crypto world understand some of the points you mentioned "it's never too late" while someone wants to do.

Do better, than watch and complain, hope is always there for those who believe and want to do it, crypto is the choice of every new or old person.

In hindsight, people should have invested into BTC 2-3 years ago when its price was stable around $4,000-$6,000. But who would have thought that its price would skyrocketed to what it is now?

Like what I previously mentioned to posts like these, the best time to enter into cryptocurrency is the time when you first discovered about it. Every single day that passes, a person misses the opportunity of taking advantage of BTC's price volatility in the market. Whether your goal may be short or long-term as long as you have invested, then there is that potential of doubling your profits in the few years to come.
[/quote]
Yes, no one can predict exactly about the future of Bitcoin, about the price in the future whether it will skyrocket or even will drop.
However, we can take our own decision whenever we are ready to invest in Bitcoin, not in a hurry time, not in the hype time. But in whatever moment when we already know about Bitcoin, know the risks that we may face in the future, and also know what maybe we will earn from our investment.
As long as our purpose is for  along term hold, we will not lose our money by panic even likely in this dropped price

Newcomers or newbies who want to enter the world of cryptocurrency are not too late. just need to learn what cryptocurrency is and keep learning it. Sometimes beginners just have plans to enter but haven't done anything.
Like the first step to enter this forum. If newbies just go in to make money, then they won't last long.

We all know that the rules on this forum have been tightened to be able to rank up by getting merit from every comment given. Other members will judge how good the comments or threads we make.
Many beginners are not able to pass this rule so they do not want to continue learning in this bitcointalk forum. This forum is the first door that must be passed, if you want to know more about the world of crypto and investment.

Indeed, in this forum there is not only cryptocurrency knowledge, but there are many useful discussions that are able to develop our knowledge about cryptocurrencies and how to make good investments.

It's never too late as long as we still try and stay focused on the main goal.

as it is said that it's never too late to learn the world of crypto, it only takes the willingness to learn in it. the world of crypto is growing and is increasingly known to many people as well and of course with this forum it can make it easier for beginners to learn basic things about crypto. what's wrong is if we don't want to try and don't dare to enter the crypto world while people have gone far ahead, and we still stop with that curiosity without getting into it. investing in crypto is a profitable thing especially if we can choose coins that have good prospects.

But irony is that most of us are running after BTC and other top alt coins of CMC, not many pay attention to what may be future gem. As buffet said, "buy when everyone fear to buy", it need balls to invest in coin that is new and yet to go on any exchange. Most of us want coin that already is on high price.

I agree, as long as you are willing to hold and wait for the right time to sell for huge profit, then investing even at this moment is still not late. Being an early bird in bitcoin is a big advantage of course because your able to buy at a very cheap price, but if you sold very early with minimal profit, that doesn't make sense.

we can understand their regret though. i mean, the earlier you enter the space, the earlier you can get profits. at least in theory.

just like the stock market, most early investors have a lot of opportunity to cast out after a year or two of public listing. But most of them also forget that early investment are more risky.

It depends on how dedicated you're and i believe asking questions from experts before starting will give you a better start to trading because you won't make the mistakes they made.

Seriously I really like your post because also know about lots of people that have been complaining to me that they wish they have bought bitcoin when it was low, I believe that right it's very painful but I believe bitcoin price is still very low now and I believe in the next few years you if you don't buy now you will endup regretting why you did now buy bitcoin now because the price is still low. And for other coins new coins are entering the market on a daily basic, actually most of them are scam coin and some of them won't survive the market but if you can do your research there are still lots of coins you can buy now.

I don't believe in latecomers in Cryptocurrency only late comer investing in a particular coin, there are old investors that were late investing in the right project even if the project is getting a lot of buzzes, I missed investing in Solana a very good project which is getting a lot of good feedback last year, and I have a friend who in his first year as an investor made a profit from investing in Solana, it's not about late or new it's finding the right project to invest.
The earlier you invest, the riskier it is. Nobody would have bought 1,000,000 BTC for 10,000€ when Bitcoin was 1 cent if their only holdings were 10K because it would have been super risky. From today's standpoint, everyone's like 'I'd have done it', but it doesn't work this way.
When your friend invested in Solana early on, it was simply a larger gamble than now, which is why he made more profit. But that was counterbalanced by higher risk.
If this wouldn't be the case, everyone would be a billionaire by now! Wink

Not every coin can or will 'moon', please keep this in mind everybody. There is a very real risk of coins going to 0, in fact, most coins go to 0, so be careful with altcoins.
Only because you haven't invested in cryptocurrency by now, doesn't mean you should throw everything into alts because of the feeling you're too late for Bitcoin.

Yeah indeed not every coin will moon thats why we need to choose those projects who has a good roadmaps and been follow by them as well they have transparent devs which gives updates towards what currently happening unto their project.

If we believe on those shitty say mooning things then provably we will be at huge risk since there are so many scam coins around but atleast we may know how good or how big the potential of the project if we can see the devs heavily working out to make theie project good inline on what they are written on their whitepaper.

It's true that it's never too late to enter the crypto world. the development of crypto is getting better and better and many new coins are popping up and have good prospects. everyone has their own time to be ready to enter the crypto world so we can't say that the person or ourselves have entered the crypto world too late. crypto has a long way to go and if we can manage it well i don't think it will disappoint. be a winner in yourself and make a goal so that we are more enthusiastic and careful.

I only know bitcoin and Ethereum. I want to know where you get the new coin information and how to judge it as a good coin.

While it might be tempting to buy altcoins because they are cheaper, or because they are perceived to be cheaper by the market, this isn't the best approach. Make sure that you have a balance between more established and more mature coins in your portfolio.

For newbies its not advisable to buy new altcoins since they don't know how to diversify their portfolio yet and they are prone to get hype by their supporters that's why its really better to split up their investment on different coin at the top and do spot trades since most of the coins there have big potential and low risk since we now even if the price dump the chance to get up is high. That's why never follow to buy cheap or low cap coins since this is risky type of option what others do.

As the number of alternate cryptocurrencies increases, and many of the newest coins offer an opportunity to increase one's investment. Almost all new coins worth mentioning are listed on the CoinMarketCap website. CoinGecko is another method for finding cryptocurrency coins. However, there are also many risks associated with these coins, since it's difficult to predict which coins will attract the most attention. When it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies, it's best to put at least 70% - 80% of your investment in established coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

While it might be tempting to buy altcoins because they are cheaper, or because they are perceived to be cheaper by the market, this isn't the best approach. Make sure that you have a balance between more established and more mature coins in your portfolio.

Yes no late commer in cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is an umbrella that can accommodate everyone. No regret about coming late into cryptocurrency. All things can be gain once you embrace cryptocurrency

Not everything can be of gained in Cryptocurrency, the manner we have possible gain is also the way we have potential loss, it's a dice, which means you're either up or down in a 50:50 chance.
Furthermore, just because a person is new to cryptocurrencies does not imply they should invest in altcoins because they believe bitcoin is overpriced.
No one is ever too late to enter into cryptocurrencies, but as a new user, prudence is essential, buying needless shitcoins will not only make you regret being here, but you will also have no taste for anything called investment.

Bitcoin is expensive, which means he has always been popular. <…>
It’s relatively expensive compared to prior moments in time, but the key term is relative. If price goes up noticeably over the coming years (no guarantee of course), then in retrospective, current price won’t turn out to be expensive at all.

Additionally, one may aspire to have whole bitcoin units, and that’s a steep objective for people at the current price, but it’s really more of a psychological thing than anything else. When it comes to using bitcoin (or selling it for that), you can merrily move around with fractions of it. It normally pays off to have fractions of a bitcoin than hundreds or thousands of a given coin/token.

I stop to follow new coins since most of the newly created are scams so better stay away with it and focus on old ones which is listed at top in the market, But if you insist since you want to explore I suggest that go to https://coinmarketcap.com then check the recently added tokens or coin so that you will now which project you can test. Also we cannot judge easily how good the new coin project is so maybe its good to invest with the amount we can afford to lose so that we will not get broke if we fail on a scam project.

The major challenge is information, now you are informed, it's your morning, you are not late. If you think some coins are so expensive, buy the inexpensive ones. No one knows the pregnancy that carries a king.
Thanks!

The truth is that information is power, and it is necessary and vital, the information I had and
misinterpreted made me lose some bitcoin I accumulated for quite some time, by selling it
at relatively low prices and there was great regret from me when there was a spike in the price
of bitcoin and the increased value of bitcoin.
SO information heard, and utilized is of immense importance.

You are absolutely right and for me it is exhausting to live in regrets. Lets focus on the present and armed yourself with adequate knowledge and information about the cryptocurrencies and when to purchase or sold it. We can't predict what will happen in the near future but if you are willing to gamble and have strategies then perhaps you can attain financial success.
Well, it's really a gamble if you don't know what you're investing but it's worth taking that gamble and risk if you know what you're up to.

That's why there's no late investment if you're just about to invest in bitcoin but don't do that with random altcoins.

There are no late comers in cryptocurrency. It's all about having skills in investing, trading strategies, understanding how marketing works and also timing is also needed, we had a lot of opportunities for that to happen. Cryptocurrency is still at development so we'll never know that those who are what you called late comers profits the most and will be the most successful.

It all depends if a person has the skills, strategies knowledge in marketing.

Early investors mostly sold their Bitcoin already so there are no latecomers when talking about investment in Bitcoin. Everyone has their own opportunity if they do understand how the market works they will surely gonna earn a decent profit in no time. As long as one did learned about their past mistakes and understand how investment and minimizing the risk you will earn what you have been invested.

Just learn from the mistakes of the others if you are new to the market or if you have some experience and knowledge about crypto currency then apply it to your trading strategy and learn different trading strategies to widen your knowledge and experience about trading and crypto.

Sometimes they are talking about being late on their investment but they are wrong still there's a timing needed for the cryptocurrency or the bitcoin itself as an investment. Some people already see a chance so they grab the opportunity, the newbie thinks they are already late because the price already soar high and they want to wait for a long time like to the dip but they are wrong instead its just the beginning for another trend. Market is volatile always keep an eye to the market and chance to earn profit.
Latecomers to cryptocurrency are sometimes the ones who profit the most because they have already learned a lot from those who invested early. It is not difficult to understand cryptocurrency because there is a lot of content and analysis about the crypto market nowadays, so it is true that no one is a late entrant. There have been cases where those who invested heavily early on have suffered significant losses, while some newcomers have made significant gains in just a few days.

Quite right, it's like I went to a supermarket and parked my car in one place, but I didn't record the specific location of my parking,When I came out of the market, it took more than an hour to find the car,But since what happened, I no longer make the same mistakes, this is the experience.
For example, at the beginning we felt that selling high and buying low would make us profit from it, but in the end, most of us lost money,Because many times we just trade on intuition and luck, the market behavior is unpredictable, it is impossible to buy the lowest point every time, but when we lose money, we only find that if we calculate according to 5 or 10 years, we have been Holding and buying is the most profitable operation. Often the truth is very simple.

The low coins tempt us to buy but unfortunately, many of us do not know if that coin can increase to the higher price or go down. If we do not have more information about the project, that can make it us getting hard to see the price increase, even in the future.

Even if we make a mistake by choosing the wrong coin, there are not too late to change and try to select the right coin but you need to search for more information and analyze the coin directly.

It’s better late than never. First step I guess is to invest in knowledge by reading, watching videos, listening to the news and then implementing. You can’t delegate this to anyone. The reason most people haven’t started is because of “hearsay and what-if”. Many years ago, the aforementioned was what held me back. Basically, they haven’t truly done any in-depth research. Invest in knowledge first and then apply the knowledge the knowledge in bits. It will save you a whole lot of heartaches.
Yes, learning by doing is the best answer for people who doubt bitcoin and need to get more convinced to join in the bitcoin world. If we can learn from many sources, that will improve our knowledge and we can feel that investing in bitcoin is not as hard as people say. They need to open their minds to learn bitcoin and not listen to other people say if they do not search by themselves. When we can get as much info about bitcoin, we will see the truth and we will not have to be afraid of the risk because we already know that in any investment or other aspects, the risk will be there.

There are no late comers till date in bitcoin also thinking differently to you.See the main point of coming late or early solely depends on how much profit you will or have gained from the past and in future. For instance if you have invested in bitcoin in early 2011 also and could have gained full bitcoin for as low as $1 also but now see you would have to spend $45k to have full bitcoin but still you can have it if you can afford the money and hold it for some time to gain profits. So what matters the most is how much profit you have gained or will gain in future from bitcoin. The companies have started to adopt and countries regulating bitcoin would certainly boost the prices even higher and so will be your profits.

But this concept will not always work like say if you say the same words after some years then it would not make much sense as you will be too late then and would not be able to get full bitcoin for $100k also and moreover coins in circulation will even become more lower after the next halving in 2024 when rewards will be halfed to 3.125 bitcoins and till 2140 all bitcoins will be mined and you will regret that time.So i would say without wasting any time you should invest in bitcoin and saying who was early and who will be late.

The whole context of OP for me is in reference to Bitcoin, true that there are no late comers to cryptocurrency, but to bitcoin, lets be sincere, there are late comers. There are two categories of people searching for other cryptocurrency to buy, We have those that gained heavily from buying bitcoins early and are looking to gain again from another alts in early development, while those who missed out (late comers) for bitcoin and are looking to still gain from cryptocurrency by now buying another alts.

You can see a that on this thread;

There is never a latecomer to cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is still in the early stage of development, and there are more opportunities to wait for new investors to join the crypto market.
It is never too late to invest in cryptocurrency. The most important thing is to grasp the investment opportunity. Analyze market trends correctly to find suitable investment strategies and trading opportunities to obtain higher profits.

Expensive coins, cheap coins, I don't think so, your skills to decide to buy, sel, and  analyze are the most important thing. You must be able to take advantage of those moments to double your money.

If you look at the price side, I think a lot of beginners will say it's too late. But I agree with you. It's never too late, it all depends on their efforts. The wrong pattern of thinking must be changed. They must know that every moment is an opportunity. So they have to keep learning and don't give up. Many of my friends joined but after entering they gave up because they have not been able to manage well.

Cheap coins will not necessarily rise to hundreds of thousands of times like Bitcoin. Many coins have gone to zero. What they may buy is a complete joke. I still recommend that novices first learn to buy Bitcoin and rely on hype It is difficult for coins to achieve wealth freedom, and perhaps hoarding them all the time will be more profitable than speculating coins.
If you check on the market, you will find that some cheap coins increase so high and many underestimate them.
Dogecoin, Matic, DOT and many more prove that such coins can be an alternative for people to buy and sell.
But yes, buying bitcoin will be recommended as bitcoin is the main investment that can profit us.
Those altcoin types can be another way to get additional profit while we wait for a bitcoin increase.

You're neither late in Bitcoin. Just because you didn't receive 10000 BTC for giving away two pizzas doesn't mean that you're late.
When people talk about getting in late when it comes to bitcoin, they usually talk about a lost opportunity to become millionaires or billionaires once those coins are converted back to fiat. They feel sorry that they didn't learn about bitcoin early enough to turn a $100 investment into several million dollars. That's impossible with today's prices.

But why does that have to be your only goal? I mean, sure, getting rich and not having to care about money for the rest of your life is great, but you can also appreciate the fact that even gains of 10% or 20% are much higher than the interest you would earn from a time deposit in traditional banks. And if you believe in a world where bitcoin will achieve a much greater adoption rate that wont require you to exchange it for fiat, hold on to it and wait.
I would take a safe 10-20% gain over a super risky potential 1000x any day. I don't understand why everyone's so obsessed with 'getting rich quick'. In fact, if you pursue that, you'll statistically get poor quick. Because it's a gamble.

Just like it was a gamble to buy 1,000BTC for 1,000$ over 10 years ago - nobody knew if the code was correct, if the concept would establish, if people would even be interested.

Today, with the myriad of shitcoins, which all have their own goal and thing that they're trying to fix, the reality is that you're playing a game of luck and hope that the coins you chose will 'moon' to then dump them for fiat or BTC. Trying to 'find a coin that goes 100x' gets really close to gambling I must say. Even coins with objectively good ideas and good intentions aren't guaranteed to increase in value and might still be a bad investment.

Although the encryption industry has been a long time since it was first created, it is not too late to invest in it. With the further development of blockchain technology and the increase in the needs of crypto investors, the actual use and market value of cryptocurrencies have increased exponentially, and some countries even support the encouragement of bitcoin payment transactions, which has a positive impact on the future development space .
Yes, when people want to invest in crypto, they can do that anytime and even with little money. But what they should remember is crypto has volatility which means, people can not expect to see the price will still increase. People need to know how to prepare for the worst thing that can happen to use it for their own benefit. With the popularity of bitcoin, it will become mainstream and attract more people to join bitcoin.

you have a point, but at this time the most important coins are already at high, but yes if you are just talking about profit, there are really other coins that are not too expensive at the moment, which will have a higher value at the future, the most important thing about it is you need to be early at some point, getting ahead is way better than late because you can have it at a cheaper price, and take profit while others are just getting started.

It has been ten years since Bitcoin appeared. Many people admire the high profits made by early investors while lamenting that they have missed the opportunity to enter the market. But after experiencing the bull market, many investors including me believe that it is never too late to invest in cryptocurrencies. For me, investing in Bitcoin is a very meaningful thing, because it is not only my belief, and I can also get investment income from it. With the large-scale application of blockchain and cryptocurrency, the future of Bitcoin is immeasurable.

Be very careful when giving out advice like this as it seems like a financial advice, this particular advice has lead many to their doom in the market. Just because a coin is not expensive doesn't mean it's a perfect alternative to the already expensive ones like bitcoin etc. This same reason is why people go and invest in coins trading for just zero's of cent without realizing they're buying coins that has billions to trillions of supply circulating which makes it impossible to increase without manipulation.

When investing, consider the fundamentals of the project before looking at the price. Many projects currently listed in the market shouldn't even be tradable as they offer nothing to the industry. They're just pump and dump coins waiting on their new victims to scam.

Thanks!
In crypto, it is not always about how early you made it or how early you knew about it. It is all about how wise and strategic you are with the current knowledge you have and the timing you wait for as you enter. The value of every crypto is volatile meaning it keeps on changing over time. Once you witness a massive dump, do not hesitate or lose the chance to invest. As you invest, you can try holding as much as you can so that all of the money you spent will go back to you with some extra profit. Knowledge and perseverance is the key to a successful investment so make sure you always have that two and surely you'll win at the risk you took.

Maybe you're not the only one who said that to me. Especially crypto newcomers. I think it's never too late to join. I think if they were really serious they would be able to handle that.
Expensive coins, cheap coins, I don't think so, your skills to decide to buy, sel, and  analyze are the most important thing. You must be able to take advantage of those moments to double your money.

Congratulations on that boyptc: The best time to start with cryptocurrencies was back in 2009. The second best time is now!!

There are still many opportunities for those who seek them in this space and I guess that it is still possible to make a living from cryptos if you invest some time researching and learning. There are so many things one can do, depending on his abilities!!! Investing, programming, sharing content in social media... and other creative/innovative business models I can't even imagine right now.

I've also thought the same when I entered this space.

I really thought that it was too late but it didn't matter to me but just pushed with what I've got by that time I've started.

It's never too late as cryptocurrencies are emerging and if you truly believe that this space is going to be bigger than it is right now, you're never too late to buy at cheap prices of cryptos you want to buy.

Bingo! I knew it. Smiley
Well I wish I had the nostalgic feeling of that sight of CMC in that year, but in the other side I could have quit trading coins because most likely I invested in those dead coins you mentioned due to me being new to trading. Cheesy

Thanks for pointing out the exact post. Smiley

Do you really think that a new crypto king will be born? I always thought we already had a king on the throne with an army of tens of millions supporting him.
We share same thought. However, no king lasts forever. At a time the kingship is transfered to a prince for continuing. Or will BTC exceptionally be an everlasting king?

Here of course we speak in metaphors and call Bitcoin the king of cryptocurrencies, so if you want us to go literally in that direction then we can say that Bitcoin was born as a king because it was the first and without competition. From then until today, Bitcoin has built its reputation and strengthened its position and today is arguably the best known and most trusted cryptocurrency. Anyone can be proclaimed king, but few deserve the respect and loyalty of their subjects.

It is true that nothing lasts forever, but we should not forget that all possible imaginary crypto princes have a terribly difficult task in overthrowing the king from the throne - of all coins/tokens only Bitcoin is really decentralized, everything else is pale copies chasing profit.

Can't quite recall if it was you that posted that snapshot of CMC back around 2013 (can't recall the exact year) in comparison of the coins right now in CMC.
Good memory! Yes, that was me. It took me some time to find that post you were referring to but here it is. From the 14 coins that are listed in that historical capture, we only have Litecoin that has any significance and value today. Everything else is gone or barely struggling for air.

- Namecoin - down +80% since its ATH.
- PPCoin or Peercoin - down +85% since its ATH.
- Novacoin - dead or no liquidity.
- Devcoin - dead.
- Terracoin - down +96% since its ATH.
- Feathercoin - down +98% since its ATH.
- Freicoin - down +97% since its ATH.
- CHNCoin - dead.

It was kind of insane how much changed in terms of the price of each coins back in those years until now.

@OP I smell that you're gonna kind of fall for some pump and dump scheme from that. Careful, I would say.

Crypto industry has vast opportunity awaiting newer investors and still many opportunities for old investors alike any time you decide to join the train there are bunch of profit awaiting you the only task involved now is research because different shit coin has emerged and a lot would not do well so it's wiser to do proper research before investing

You should talk to some of the newcomers who got in back in 2017, they too were saying the same thing as you "buy shitcoins, they may go higher than bitcoin". Now most of them are gone because they lost all of their money when those shitcoins that were promising them riches went down 95%.

The fact is that if a coin already exists we know if it is a good coin or a shitcoin. So far out of tens of thousands of cryptocurrencies only bitcoin is a good coin the rest are pump and dumps.

Advice others is quite easy than follow ourselves. As a human, it's become our habit to advise others. I wouldn't agree with you at all. But I welcome any constructive discussion rather than create this kind of suggestion. Because you don't know what you are saying. You are suggesting buying inexpensive coins, do you know it would drive into loss? Bitcoin is expensive, but it would more expensive as well. But I bought an inexpensive coin 4 years back, still, it's going down even all other coins recovered. So that kind of suggestion is quite dangerous. I know every day new cryptocurrency launching, but do you know how much percentage of them are potential? Most of them turning into a shitcoin. So please study more once you make such as a post.

You're neither late in Bitcoin. Just because you didn't receive 10000 BTC for giving away two pizzas doesn't mean that you're late. It hasn't been globally adopted and lots of people believe that it will. There's lots of development right now around Bitcoin and I'm really bullish for its future. I'm also a S2FX model follower.

Taking into account that you are talking about cryptocurrencies in general, I agree with you that nobody knows which will be the next x100 or x1000 coin, but I guess that there will be some in the future. So it is quite early for crypto in general, in my opinion.
That's the thought that makes altcoins getting dumped and abandoned. You're investing into something to get rid of it later. Essentially, you get paid from later investors with funds from recent investors where all of the investors want to simply get rich from the coin by doing a 100x. It's a pyramid scheme.

Even if it may be represented as a legal move, it's surely unethical.

Do you know the adage that says, "the miser always pays twice"?
It is very wrong to advise people to buy coins that seem cheaper today. Do you know how many people have gotten themselves into these temptations? Your post speaks directly about investing, and you may be right that the time to buy cryptocurrencies is always "today". If you don't buy today, you might be sorry tomorrow. BUT this only applies to Bitcoin. I do not argue that there are other alternatives, but this requires experience and a competent understanding of the value of another coin.
For beginners, bitcoin is always relevant, and everything else is at your peril and risk.

Saying you're late to cryptocurrencies is just like saying that you're late to stocks. That simply doesn't make any sense. There will always be overpriced and underpriced cryptocurrency projects regardless of market sentiment(bull/bear), and it's the same with stocks. It's just going to completely depend on how good you are at picking.

Research, read the white paper, understand what you're putting your money in. Crypto is very volatile, you can lose your money if you don't do your research

All this does not guarantee that the project you are investing in will succeed, because over 10 000 coins at CMC claim that they are the ones who will solve something - and if you compare the top 100 coins 5 years ago and today, will you find 10% of those coins in today's top 100? It is about a lot of false promises, cleverly packaged lies and top-notch deceptions whose goal is to extract as much money as possible from gullible, naive, and greedy people.

More shitcoins are introduced everyday. There are numbers of low coins you can buy and hold now, your inability to do it now may also result to regret in 5years time.

I corrected your statement, because the value of a coin is in what you can realistically do with it - not how much someone will be able to pump it up at a given moment, your possible gain is certainly the loss of tens or hundreds of others who came in too late.

No one knows the pregnancy that carries a king.

Do you really think that a new crypto king will be born? I always thought we already had a king on the throne with an army of tens of millions supporting him.

Complaining that they have missed a golden opportunity because today they know the market cap of cryptocurrencies has increased seem absurd because they previously did not believe it and took the initiative to invest in it. They can no longer change their past decision, but they can still improve them for the future if they believe that this cryptocurrency has potential.

More coins are introduced everyday. There are numbers of low coins you can buy and hold now, your inability to do it now may also result to regret in 5years time.

Only one of the cryptocurrencies is really worth considering as a long term investment asset and that is bitcoin. It is true that there are many altcoin issued all the time but many of them end up being useless shitcoin so beginner should really do some research to at least choose a useful altcoin for their investment asset. Don't be tempted by cheap prices because everything is still not guaranteed to increase 2-100x from the purchase price and they have to consider all the risks for their investment asset.

These two sentences of yours are dangerous advice. You will also regret buying various coins expecting their value to shoot up when that never happens. Just because a coin is cheap now and it used to cost more in the past, that doesn't mean it will ever reach those old highs ever again. Check the records and look at the TOP 10 coins back in 2014/2015 and compare the names and the value with what we have today. You will find just a few survivors.

Bitcoin has shown time after time that when it prospers, so do other assets. To minimize your risk, stick with the familiar options and don't overdiversify.

They really regret the  miss opportunities of crypto way back before but the question is would they really  invest on crypto way back before if they know it exist  and doesn't have anything proven yet? For sure no since they will think that this is scam and ignore the opportunities of what crypto could offer to them. But since crypto is well know right now its no late or early with this  since I believe we have different timelines of entry so  for now lets should stake according to our believes if we want to experience on what gain they accumulated for early adopters  since its still early for crypto and there's so many adoption will happen on it.

People will always complain. What's done is done, no need to whine about the past thinking about what you could have done better. You will find it interesting that a lot of people are lamenting about the current market price wishing they had sold off in the bull run.

Investing in crypto is not the same as gambling. Don't buy coins because the price is low. That's not even a factor to determine a good investment. Research, read the white paper, understand what you're putting your money in. Crypto is very volatile, you can lose your money if you don't do your research

we can understand their regret though. i mean, the earlier you enter the space, the earlier you can get profits. at least in theory.

just like the stock market, most early investors have a lot of opportunity to cast out after a year or two of public listing. But most of them also forget that early investment are more risky.

For BTCitcoin, unfortunately, at the current market cap and the magnitudes that would suppose a x100, I don't think we will ever see it, but who knows!!

That's the main reason I am not a maxi myself, even when a really big part of my portfolio is in Bitcoins. I don't really want to miss the opportunity for a new x100 or x1000 coin, even when this suppose that some, if not many of my altcoins, will make me lose money. But I don't invest money I can't afford to lose, so it is fine.
