Threads don't get deleted, they get moved to a special staff viewable only trash section. So when your thread gets deleted, its the same as if they were moving it from say Goods to Digital goods which you aren't notified about. When you move a thread, theres an option to leave behind a, this thread was moved to this new board message, but that isn't typically used when moving things to the trash.
If you are wondering why that is, I assume at least partly so a moderators can look at your past posting behavior. When staff members read through someone's post history, they can see posts that are currently in the trash section. I'm not sure if this is still a concern, but back in the day, deleting accounts and threads and such was undesirable from a forum software point of view. I don't remember exactly what it did, but it was more efficient to isolate and hide threads rather than trying to remove them from the forum.

This was new to me too. I always thought for any deletion except it from a thread created by others and if it gets deleted, then you get notifications.I think in this case we need to have this feature too to have a PM for a thread of yours get deleted. I never had this experience except any posts are getting deleted but for some reason if any of my topic gets deleted then I think I will have no clue unless if any day I feel to check to see any update of that thread and do not see it.

I think when a whole thread gets nuked, you don't get a PM about it as opposed to having a single post deleted. I've had the same thing happen to me.
I did see that thread in my unread threads list and thought just looking at the title that it was more appropriate for Altcoin Discussion (though I didn't read what you wrote in your post). The thread didn't get moved, did it? Anyway, just be careful about what you post in Ivory Tower, because moderation there is very strict and if a thread or post looks like it doesn't belong there, it'll either get moved or nuked.
And as I always say, just take post/thread deletion in stride. It happens to most members here and there's not always a PM that gets sent. You can always start the same thread up in the proper section.

Generally, when any of our thread/post is removed by a forum moderator, we receive a message for the same. Yesterday, I created a thread in Ivory Tower regarding prospect of Alt coins in 2020. I can not find the thread today, while no message has been received either! Is this normal?
