I was actually having a discussion with my mom about how a lot of people have lost faith in politics. In her words, "gone are those days when people actually choose who they'll vote for and support with all amount of honesty, the old pattern of politics keeps repeating itself and the people are tired of putting in all amount of seriousness in choosing who would represent them. Anyone with the best manifesto and many other campaign promises not documented wins."
I have thought about her opinion on the attitude of government leaders and the people, and I do not seem to agree with the fact that it now impossible for us to do things right. Good governance needs the collective efforts of everyone, it is our responsibility too to hold the government leaders accountable for all actions they'll take while still in office because, everyone will still feel the impact of bad governance if they become bias in their judgements.

who is really more drunk in this case? is it the drunk driver who was able to convince the majority of people to believe that he has all it takes to drive them to safety, and they all believed him and Foght and even kill themselves just so the drunkard can drive them or is it the people that believed the statement and promises of the man they called drunk?
the American scenario is even better. have you seen other region where the presidential aspirant right from his campaigns refuse granting any media briefing to the public but only gives prerecorded speeches just because he is too old to hold on to a smooth and swift conversation as a prospective president of a nation and yet eventually wins the election because the people that only speaks down on him on the social media don't want to come out and vote for who they assume is the preferred candidate?
it's easy to sit back and call a presidential candidate a drunk because you've probably not tested what leadership is all about. governance is not as simple as we view it from a distance. no political party will allow a drunk to come out as the party's flag bearer and no president of any kind can eventually emerge and meet the needs of all the class of people he governs

The kamala Harris will get elected by poor population because she tell all the miracles and a lot goverment support....but neither she sounds like smart person.
