A friend from another forum had a copy of ati stream sdk 2.1, and I was finally able to get OpenCL enabled on this HD4670. Using Catalyst 10.7 along side it.

So now CGminer sees it. Smiley

But, CG miner keeps giving assorted and vague cl errors and reporting it can't initialize the GPU. I've tried over a dozen versions of CGminer from 1.1.1 through 3.7.2, and every version gives different errors. As does different switches. Sad

Is there a prefered cgminer version for older driver sets/cards? Are there any particular switches and values that this card needs?

Running Windows 7 Professional 64bit on an AMD 64 3000+ and using an HIS H467QA1GHA (Radeon 4670) AGP card.

I can tried installing ATI Catalyst 13.1, 13.9, 13.12 (all of which have the SDK included)

I have also tried 11.10 along with AMD APP SDK 2.7 and 2.9.

Have also tried the AMD APP SDK 2.7 & 2.9 along with 13.1, 13.9 and 13.12.

Have tried ATIi stream-1.4.0_beta (can not find v2.1 anywhere as the amd development link that EVERYONE gives doesn't work anymore)

I have even tried doing a fresh install of Windows 7 to new HDD and repeated all the of the above attempts.

Yes I use Guru's Driver Sweeper in between different versions.

Nothing works.

Cgminer 3.7.2 reports "clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs useable.
CPUCaps says the gfx card is not OpenCL.
GPU-Z says the gfx card is not OpenCL.

I know this card support OpenCL. Other people are using it. I've confirmed on the Radeon 4670 wiki page.

Wasted 2 days with this to no avail.

Which packages do I need to install and in what order to get OpenCL working so I can scrypt mine?

Thanks in advance.
