American Senator from Arizona John McCain has accused Russia of cooperation with the Syrian government in the attack with chemical weapons, killing more than 80 people, including more than ten children.
The Republican Senator said at a press conference in Belgrade that he believes that "the Russians knew about the chemical weapons, because they act with the same base."
"I hope that such behaviour on the part of Syria, what is clearly visible cooperation between Russia and Syria will never happen again," he said.

You are right. The city of Khan Shaykhun, and much of the Maarrat al-Nu'man District which encompasses it is under the control of the Tahrir al-Sham alliance. The main component of this "alliance" is the Jabhat al Nusra (Syrian branch of Al Qaeda).

The Americans claim that they have some secret evidence that chemical weapons were used by Assad, moreover they have some dirt on the Russians. I think that after meeting us Secretary of state in Russia, we learn about these proofs.

This is where I have been at the entire thread..the last time I checked, dropping bombs was enough. Sarin is just icing on the asshole cake. I will concur it's odd he would do this, but, somebody did this, and somebody with a plane, and access to copious amounts of sarin. That we cannot dispute; and those are all features of state actors. 2) First reports said witnesses saw sukhoi jets drop the gas. In fact a single source pumped that info heavily into hundreds of news sites which used the exact same quotes. Later reports contradicted this, saying witnesses saw missiles of some sort or something similar.
