WTF happened to our world. Instead of engineers and coders, we've become the social misfit conformance cry baby gestapo propaganda slaves. Is that how you young Europeans think about life, that is always about equality as a human right. Fuck man, no wonder Europe is fucking toasted. Entitled spoiled cry babies, who get pissed off when we don't let them make MLM scams to steal from us.

Hahaha europe is becoming a zombie collectivist land.

Soon they will become borg and they will assimilate us all Cheesy

Well, what gets me about Europe is how they have just submitted to their Islamic Invaders.  In France and the UK (probably other countries too) I have read about "No Go Zones" which are Muslim neighborhoods in major cities.  The cops and firemen are not invited in...  I doubt that American tourists would be welcome either...

Wink

I continue to wonder how much longer the feckless Euro .govs will just let things simmer.  At some point, my hunch is that the Hard Right, in one form or another, will take the lead in discouraging bad behavior by the Rapefugees.

Should Syrians or Somalis (Obama's latest harvest of Muslims) wind up raping American women, the response here would be very different.  Americans are armed, and will not let them get away with that shit (at least after the first rape or two).
An interesting thing I actually read about this earlier today was that even Somalians are seeing that it is bad in Europe, specifically Sweden, and they say that the truth is hidden and you're spoken out against.

It is starting to get horrendous in Europe, and the left is starting to censor all sorts of information, and anything that doesn't fit their narrative is blocked out.

They submit because they really believe that it is unfair to discriminate or speak hurtful words or actions. The men have been indoctrinated to think like females. Politeness is politically required on all speech.

Two more examples:

you gotta lay low with the insults. getting you nowhere.

What insult is in my immediately prior post  Huh

Is geek an insulting word? I wear that word as badge of honor. I'm a geek.

And Liberland is supposed to be a Libertarian paradise, yet they are accepting applications from Somalians, Egyptians, etc.., so how will they ever maintain a Libertarian culture  Huh

And the application process requires political correctness:

Who is needed in Liberland?

Liberland currently needs people who:

  • have respect for other people and respect the opinions of others, regardless of their race, ethnicity, orientation, or religion
  • have respect for private ownership which is untouchable
  • do not have communist, nazi or other extremist past
  • were not punished for past criminal offences

They seem to have this delusion that they can keep political correctness censorship and maintain respect for private property.  Roll Eyes

As Armstrong has pointed out, it was the discrimination against immigrants who did not assimilate with English and our capitalistic values, that made the great melting pot work as unified high economy-of-scale economy and culture. Once we ended that with anti-discrimination laws, we destroyed the melting pot economy. This is why the USA will breakup into regions.

Europe is culturally destroyed... USA following in footsteps but will disintegrate instead...

you did not state it as a statistical fact...and high crime in area with poverty does not imply the abandonment of rule of law ...it is an inference that is bigoted. One that I find disturbing. It has tainted, greatly my opinion of your. Sorry thats how I feel. and that's a fact

It is a statistical fact that inner cities regions have higher crime rates, but thus by definition a lower respect for the rule of law. Crime can't increase if there aren't more people who disrespect the law or an ineffective legal system that allows repeat offenders. Or a corrupt legal system that prosecutes the innocent. In either case or all of the above, it makes my statement factual.

And it is evident by recent protects that the African-american community to some extent feels the justice system is not entirely serving their interests.

There is some grey area in there, so I did include the word 'perhaps'.

Now would you please stop cluttering the thread with a nonsense attempt to label me as a social misfit. Your biased motivation as a Waves supporter is entirely obvious.

And you are also wasting my very expensive time, which is really pissing me off. Stay on topic. Damn it!

how to spit on our ancestors fight for rights in 3 lines  Roll Eyes don't forget that humanity has not enjoyed such rights for 99% of its existence.

The Magna Carta and Bill of Rights didn't propose to make us equal. Get an education and then come back here. Until then, don't let the door hit you in your dumb ass on the way out of here. Bye uneducated dufus. You are now on Ignore along with the other dumb or disingenuous trolls traumschiff and Come-from-Beyond.

[...]

As for the USA, it is a mixed bag now. The melting pot was held together by economic opportunity. But now the country is a mix of socialism, bible belt veiled racism/fundamentalism, libertarianism, feminism, militias, etc.. As Armstrong has predicted, the USA will break apart into regions. It can not sustain the melting pot once the economic opportunity begins to collapse after 2018. This is what socialism killed. Well we were never really united, it was just a mirage of immigrants suppressing their own cultures and language when they arrived so they could attain economic advancement. This was because we were in the past discriminating against those who didn't adopt our culture. But political correctness killed that and so now the USA will fracture.

This is fact.

Liberals hate the damned facts. But facts are facts.

P.S. As for the European Union ... shudder ... there is actually more opportunity in Russia and Eastern Europe, but we'll have to see if they can get their act together in terms of rule of law and not rule by an oligarchy and then taking out their frustrations on us in the west. We have enough of our own problems and so can't be a target of your angst at your own corrupt system.

This thread serves mainly to deflect attention away from Dash's instamine scam.

+1 for conscious reason.

The subconscious reason this thread exists is the psychological phenomenon that it is better to destroy everyone, than to fail alone.

"I dropped my ice cream in the mud, so now I am throwing mud on your ice cream so we are the same, because God hates us equally".

This is what socialism built. Equality is prosperity, because fairness is the uniformity of nature's Gaussian distribution. Equality is a human right! Didn't you know that!

They would rather waste the time of important coders whose time would be better spent coding a solution for humanity, so as to satisfy their inability to accept their mistakes and jealousy.

Chomsky or the highway as he likes to think of himself!

Read recently he believes that one person had the gift of being able to string words together and they had siblings with the same feature. This in his head is how we evolved to be able to talk and rationally think about stuff. Imagine he thinks we are all inbreeds at least thats how I read the article. Was in this weeks economist.

Chomsky is a self admitted tool of the elites. He is just an expert on linguistics, yet he is treated like a liberal deity. Stop worshiping this false idol.
Yeah, my teacher told me that Noam Chomsky is an expert on linguistics, so I'm getting confused when this thread said that Chomsky told about history. I thought he wasn't Chomsky my teacher said, but I was wrong then.

I also think it's wrong area to idolize Chomsky in this conversation.

The prison population seems to echo the issue and is a interesting dynamic when you think about racial walls keeping a segment of the population down. I always look at the crack epidemic in the 80s and how gangs flourished hand in hand. Both activities helped bolster the prison population
and keep the house full. Its really hard for me to fully grasp due to being a outsider looking in and not actually experiencing the situation or being effected by it.
America dues seem to need to come together and figure out the racial dynamics to become a more unified Country.

I grew up to age 15 in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and due to poverty I attended schools which were all negro students other than myself and my sister.

I can confirm that racism was an issue 20 years ago. I used to argue with my grandmother about her racism towards African Americans.

However, this has to a large extent been eroded by the youth who interact cross-racially and cross-culturally.

There is nothing really the State needs to do. Popular culture such as rap and R&B music erode the barrier between the races and cultures.

Note several years ago I debated existential philosophy with Chomsky in email. He was very chatty and cordial.

I've been warned that Chomsky is a mouthpiece for the banksters who fund grassroots "Astroturf" movements in order to control the people.

American culture is imbued with fears that African Americans will someday repay the violence and oppression that has marred their history in this country, according to linguist and cultural critic Noam Chomsky. Speaking with philosopher George Yancy about the roots of American racism, from Native American genocide to anti-black discrimination, Chomsky emphasized the ongoing impact of black enslavement and subjugation in the U.S., saying “fears that the victims might rise up and take revenge are deeply rooted in American culture, with reverberations to the present.”

Chomsky was speaking with Yancy as part of an ongoing New York Times series of discussions around race. Early in the conversation, Yancy noted that contemporary American conversations about terrorism often omit “the fact that many black people in the United States have had a long history of being terrorized by white racism.” Chomsky cited the fact that slaves had arrived in the colonies 400 years ago, and were largely responsible for America’s early economic strength.

“We…cannot allow ourselves to forget that the hideous slave labor camps of the new “empire of liberty” were a primary source for the wealth and privilege of American society, as well as England and the continent. The industrial revolution was based on cotton, produced primarily in the slave labor camps of the United States.”

Slaves were highly efficient producers, Chomsky states, and “[p]roductivity increased even faster than in industry, thanks to the technology of the bullwhip and pistol, and the efficient practice of brutal torture.”

With the end of slavery came an immediate need to criminalize African Americans to ensure a bustling—and free—labor force. Chomsky notes “that blacks were arrested without real cause and prisoners were put to work for these business interests. The system provided a major contribution to the rapid industrial development from the late 19th century.”

More recently, Reagan helped drive this process of profiteering off the criminalizing of black bodies through the war on drugs. Chomsky says the policy “initiated a new Jim Crow, Michelle Alexander’s apt term for the revived criminalization of black life, evident in the shocking incarceration rates and the devastating impact on black society.”

Chomsky also discussed America’s long history of atrocities toward its native population, and the historical revisionism of figures such as Teddy Roosevelt, who pretended that white colonizers had been benevolent invaders. He noted that in reality, America’s native peoples had been “extirpated” or “expelled to destitution and misery.”

“That’s only a bare beginning of the shocking record of the Anglosphere and its settler-colonial version of imperialism, a form of imperialism that leads quite naturally to the ‘utter extirpation’ of the indigenous population, and to ‘intentional ignorance’ on the part of beneficiaries of the crimes.”

The refusal to acknowledge this history of oppression, violence and genocide may be the most disturbing and terrible tendency of America’s dominant culture. “Perhaps the most appalling contemporary myth is that none of this happened,” said Chomsky. He added:

“There is also a common variant of what has sometimes been called ‘intentional ignorance’ of what it is inconvenient to know: ‘Yes, bad things happened in the past, but let us put all of that behind us and march on to a glorious future, all sharing equally in the rights and opportunities of citizenry.’ The appalling statistics of today’s circumstances of African-American life can be confronted by other bitter residues of a shameful past, laments about black cultural inferiority, or worse, forgetting how our wealth and privilege was created in no small part by the centuries of torture and degradation of which we are the beneficiaries and they remain the victims.”

Chomsky and Yancy touched upon Ferguson, Gaza, and the similarities between the two, and Islamophobia in the post-9/11 age. As they closed, Yancy asked Chomsky about possible ways of putting an end to racism.

“Racism is far from eradicated, but it is not what it was not very long ago, thanks to such efforts,” Chomsky said. Cautiously hopeful, he added: “It’s a long, hard road. No magic wand, as far as I know.”
