Hey guys, anyone invested or just used cryptocurrencies based on a NON-blockchain consensus?
When was this kind of consensus invented, because the last I checked, all coins as far it's crypto is built on a blockchain, even tokens are built of blockchains that accept dapps so I don't really know what you mean by non-blockchain coins. It will be good if you can give us an example of this cryptocurrencies you are talking about because I am lost already in this regard.

Hey guys, anyone invested or just used cryptocurrencies based on a NON-blockchain consensus?
IOTA, NANO and Byteball have used non-blockchain consensus but these platforms are using the new principle that created by byteball and that called DAG. Byteball was the first DAG platform which makes you able to send transaction instantly with zero fees.

I'm just getting to know about non blockchain cryptocurrency. I've always thought that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are siamese twin. I'm grateful for the insight. Its also more economical using non blockchain concensus since one can transact with zero fees. I'm beginning to feel its best if more projects adopted it.

Really?, I just known it now from you. I really taught theres still no crypto being created without using blockchain. Thanks for the info.

I don't know much about NANO and Byteball, but IOTA did have an article saying that they are DAGs, not a blockchain. You can read more here

Without Non-Blockchain IOTA you can also occupy the top position and I don't know about DAG, I will learn and read it.

I already used PASC and I like it a lot, it's not shill or advice to buy, I'm just saying I've already used and answering your question! I don't know other projects similar to PASC. Non-Blockchain projects will also have their space, because it's a theme that you do not even need to consider scalability. I hope that in the near future there will be other projects for me to test and have experiences.

Very educative m, but rare to find out that nano and byteball are not Blockchain consensus
That aside, the neo platform also allows sending transactions with zero fees

Where do it lie ??

Hey guys, anyone invested or just used cryptocurrencies based on a NON-blockchain consensus?

I think i have not personally heard about Non-Blockchain cryptocurrency technology because cryptocurrency works with the blockchain framework, however if you know any you can let us know about it.

I was wondering too.. Hahaha.. Where did that one come from, a cryptocurrency based on Nọn-Blockchain. This is the first I hear of such which I doubt is in existence.

And it hasn't made any serious progress from projects that are not yet based on this blockhain. There were not even POS projects that could catch POW projects.

Ita not about pow. Iota uses pow, but all transactions are free. Every user need to confirm a previous transaction to create a new transaction. It's a different technology that will be used for different stuff than bitcoin is  .

Iota need free transactions for iot stuff, so it's more interesting for them to try something new like dag.

If not for this thread, i would not have known that such cryptocurrencies existed.
My concern is that, if there are cryptocurrencies without the use or influence of blockchain, what is now then their relationship with blockchain technology? If they have known, will it not affect their acceptance?
I just feel such coins will be centralized.

Until recently, I thought all the digital moneys could not transact out of Blockchain. But then I saw the new currency with non-Blockchain. I do not have any idea how useful this is. And I also do not have any idea why this is available. Is it better not to use Blockchain?  Huh

Yes there are some ideas. But I think we need that economical revolution with cryto techs. Blockchain provides us a easiness, developments and great future. But, economy is still so important. We can create a new method with blockchain and its provides.

Don't underestimated it. Bitcoin is a symbol and first of its kind. But he showed us a way. There are over 2000 ideas which is running. They will re-shape our known worlds.
