Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good non-custodial wallet for XRP and TRX .

I also need to understand that how safe are wallet like Atomic Wallet and exodus, to my knowledge, for example, Atomic wallet is secured by a mnemonic key but if I use eth, trx or any other coin address with it, where are where are their keys ? Are they stored in wallet and Atomic wallet key are acting as "master key" for all ?

What if I want to manage ETH separately, how will I do that ?

Check these links.

Lists might include out custodial ones but you could really read up inside description. So better take some readings before proceeding.

You may go with brain wallet for XRP and TRX. I started using brain wallet for staking purposes and it has been more 2 years and I am not facing any issues with them. All you need is, securing your seeds for backing up your wallet. They support all major coins hence you may find all your need with brain wallet in most cases.

Do you mean separate wallet for ethereum alone? I use that way. I use MEW mobile app for ETH and we can link to desktop for convince time to time when transacting.

For Tron I do recommend Tronlink since I use this wallet I guess for over a year now and it's really a fine wallet. For XRP I think just use Trustwallet as it supports it as well as the BEP20 network for fast and cheap transactions.

Yes, already using Metamask for eth and I understand that hardware wallet is best. However, currently getting hold of one at my place is not easy. Just needed something light and reliable to start off with xrp and trp.

Yes, to simplify, the mnemonic key/seed phrase is the master key of all of your cryptocurrencies. All the cryptocurrencies private keys are derived from your mnemonic key.

If you want to use a separate ETH address, you can simply generate a new address, the new address will simply be generated based on the mnemonic and the wallet itself will do the job in the back end.

Thanks for clarification, so what non-custodial wallet are available for above mentioned cryptos , definitely I want to avoid likes of Atomic or Exodus . Don't we have something like Electrum for these cryptos ?
Yes, there are exists other light clients for those cryptocurrencies like Electrum. But I don't specifically know much about XRP and TRX. So I guess I will leave that to others. Regarding Ethereum, Metamask is the most majorly used wallet, and it is also full opensource. Anyway, I believe that if you want to maximize your security, using a hardware wallet is a no-brainer, just make sure you use HW that supports multi-coin.

You own the pen
Ledger would be perfect for you, as it supports all 3 cryptos you mentioned. And its far safer than any non hardware wallet

This is the safest way to keep your crypto assets and it's cheap compared to other hard wallets. I think it's better to have such a vault whenever we decided to keep crypto-assets for the long run. Because as we all know, exchanges are meant to be hacked and compromised someday for different reasons but when you have it all on your personal storage, no one can control it except you and you alone will have the authority to spend or hold it. You can always try to search for other hard wallets but considering the security and convenience, Ledger is the best.

Looks like there is some misunderstanding here,  I am not looking for a wallet which can manage all crypto at one place. I am actually looking for separate wallet for each which is non-custodial and probably open source, as simple as electrum (which is for btc).

So far I've been using Trustwallet to hold all my tokens from the Ethereum Blockchain guys, because I think Trustwallet is easier for us to use than Metamask.
And Trustwallet is also still safe and not complicated at all.

You can use Metamask or Trustwallet to all token that derives for Ethereum Blockchain like Tron, Binance, Ethereum, ADA and many more. But if you want to use mix Blockchain wallet, Your best chance is to use hardware wallet like Trezor and Ledger but if you don't have budget. Your best chance is to create a wallet on each token that has a different blockchain type like Solana and XRP. There's no non-custodial wallet that has all blockchain features due to blockchain interoperability limitation.

I've used atomic and exodus, they're good to me but I don't keep large amounts there. I would still go for a hardware wallet as said like a Ledger Nano S.
The X version has a lot of bugs per se with what I've seen so I'd stick to the older version which is like a work horse and didn't gave me any problem at all.

I believe that trust wallet is the best crypto wallet on mobile right now because they are open source, I heard a rumor that they aren't fully open source but still I trust them over many others and yes trust wallet supports Tron and Ripple and many other altcoins

If you are seeking a non-custodial wallet, using Atomic wallet and Exodus is the last thing you want to do. Both wallets are closed-source with that it should raise the doubt if you are truly seeking a good one.

Something did not quite understand your question. As for the Atomic Wallet, this is a normal wallet, it worked with it and everything was fine. You have the key and it works for all coins. Tronlink is suitable for the Tron blockchain.
