This is because the campaign is sending ETH tokens to you, you won’t be able to receive the tokens in exchanges. You are able to receive the ETH tokens in ETH wallet such as myetherwallet.
You should only ever use a MEW or ledger ETH address. Exchange addresses are not yours and if the ERC20 token is not supported at exchange you would not receive it.
Cause at exchanges you have not got your own address. Do it with MyEtherWallet
Out of curiosity. What is the reason behind the signature or bounty campaign manager asking their participant to provide non exchange ETH address.
