Base on what i experience since 2015 using this electrum wallet are still never experience any issue except for multisig wallet before when i was getting the private key i got different bitcoin address after i recover it in other wallet or even in the same wallet....
So i decided to use the normal electrum wallet which is still safe all of my coins after the fork my bitcoin are still there and no issue found so this time after this following fork i think your bitcoin will be safe and the good thing there you have fully control your wallet and you have your private keys and seed phrase so that you can be recover it in other wallet if you are getting issue in electrum. but i think all of your funds would be safe..

Thank you for your reply, I have installed Electrum last night, gonna check it out Smiley

Are wallet work well i want to try it now ??

If you mean if Electrum wallet works OK and is stable,  definitely yes, it is the best free desktop wallet out there with lots of features and widely used. It is also very secure. You need to set it up for the first time in a clean PC because if your PC is infected with a keylogger you risk to lose your bitcoins later. Before installing it run a full scan of your PC with your internet security suite.

thx for this information with work with your words

With Electrum, like Blockchain.info, you have exclusive control of your private keys. You are safe.

After the fork, you must determine if Electrum does what you want. If not, then you can switch wallets.

So, until now I was using Blockchain.info as my wallet, but now considering the switch to Electrum wallet... My concern is, is it safe to go for Electrum because of upcoming hard forks? I'm complete noob, and I'm afraid that switching to Electrum might screw something up after the forks, and I'm not sure how to proceed now.

For example, if I switch to Electrum now, what's gonna happen with my BTC after the fork? Also, how am I to access the newly created coins after the fork? Am I going to be able to access those at all?

I'm sorry for asking probably stupid questions for most of you here, but this all confuses me a lot :/
