this system is in place so that it's not abused. Otherwise there would be no requirements and the entire forum would be a mess, which already is to some big extend. Hail the Jail
Dumbass.  This thread is years old and the noob jail doesn't exist anymore.   I think it should be brought back.

OP, thabks for bumping this thread.   I actually like reading stuff from way back.  Hope you get your account back.

The Newbie Jail was highly effective.

Definitely needs to be brought back into commission.

May I ask what happened and when did it occur?  It seems to occur with alarming frequency to older accounts.  I am actually quite scared of using my older account and opt to register for new account just to post here.

I didnt get any memo because the mail I registered here 2013 was deleted years ago.
My old account is shilling the hell out of ALT coins now.....  Undecided

Congratulations! Now let's see if you can get to 20 posts so more features unlock. It's just like a game.

Funny you should say that.  Crypto in general has replaced video games for me.  Now if they could only somehow merge.

I agree with their therms of newbie-jail, there could be a lot of spams, bumps, and rest of the stuff, that could annoy a lot of older members, and since forum is HUUUGE, there should be kind of limitations so you dont waste resources on it

Yes indeed...the jail stinks, but I can see where it would contain the outbreak of idiocy that may ensue.

Hello my fellow inmates....Hope you are all having an Awesome Friday!!

Must be a real bad spam problem if they have to resort to these measures! I've been logged in 13 mins and this is the first post it would let me make!

How long does one stay in newbie jail?

I assume there is no chance to lower a little bit those requirments for newbies?

Chances are it's safer not to. Security isn't supposed to be convenient as they say..

What features does 20 posts unlock exactly?

I assume there is no chance to lower a little bit those requirments for newbies?

4 hours and one post isn't exactly extreme, but you can try requesting in the whitelist thread.
