This is worse than a bluff.  NK is paid off by the west to rattle the sabre every now and then.  With budget cuts looming how else can you justify billions for Anti-ballistic spending, billions for long rang bombers, etc.   Dont you people know that without rice and oil imports from china and the west NK would collapse.  don't you all remember clinton GIVING them free oil and building nuclear facilities for them.  Its all a big game, and any one with any intelligence can see this.

Beware, the Military Industrial Complex!

Think about it, if you had got a knife, and you had wanted to stab someone 10 times stronger than you, were you gonna warn him before you stab? If North Korea screams all over the place then that's when we can be sure it's nothing but bluff.

Blasting nuke in South Korea will certainly cause panic on financial markets.
Go stocking up on Samsung and LG.

I'd be a bit concerned if I had money in my Mt Gox account, given the rockets might be capable of hitting targets in Japan.

They have very poor rockets.  They could get conventional warheads to Japan but very poorly aimed.   Their nuclear weapons would be too heavy to go much further then South Korea.  The worst they could do is float a nuke to Japan and explode it on the shore.

Basically South Korea is in real danger.  Anyone else might get some small or medium attacks before the world trashed North Korea.

I will be laughing when their rockets fall out of the sky over the ocean and become new aquatic habitats for sea creatures. So courteous of them! Then when our B-2's level the Capitol city we can start fresh again.

They could hit US bases in south korea though; but yeah, no way they are getting missiles across the pacific.

Hah, have you seen their rockets?  They can't hit shit.  Somewhere like Seoul which is only like 35 miles or so from the DMZ should be concerned but there's simply no way they will hit US soil.

As an American I wouldn't panic buy, but maybe someone within the immediate range of any possible conflict?  I doubt anything will happen, but if it does it could put a dent in local economies something fierce.
