Looks like their posts are already removed, but I wish you had quoted them in the OP. (No, I don't actually need to see them, I get the gist)
I think it's pretty clear now that anything obviously low-effort can just be reported and will be removed pretty quickly.
~snip~

Yeah I forgot to check back on them but I think I may just have to be more clear in the report itself. The one I originally reported got moved instead of trashed at first, but I'll use some of the suggested "guidelines" to quote in the report from now on.

I'd say this falls under "low effort posting" and is against the rules. Especially if they use more than one account to hide their link spam.

I'll use this as part of my reports in similar cases from now on.
If you report them to moderator they will very likely be banned / nuked.

Well it's good to know it can be reported and dealt with now. Can't tell if there was a temporary ban but all posts being removed is good enough for now.

Just saying this because I've noticed a couple of these kinds of threads, linking to someone's post history for similar behaviour and it's always dealt with fairly quickly.

Report away I'd say and don't worry too much about thinking you might be wrong about reporting it.

24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful.[9][e]

^ I'm pretty sure they are violating this rule when the are prevalenty promoting their website on each post they make. Even though they are posting those links in their own thread like what you said they are not engaging in any kind of conversation on all the replies so we can see that their main goal is just to promote their website so I think reporting them is the right move to do because it still falls down to illegaly advertising their website.

Probably alt accounts, 3 of them created on same date, one 4 days earlier, and last is probably forgot password. This is nothing new, I report at least a dozen such accounts who post low quality content with obvious intention of promoting some site. If you report them to moderator they will very likely be banned / nuked.

I also open thread for something similar but related to Press board, some users post regularly on a daily basis there, just look post history of this user, he is spamming with his links in Press&Alternate cryptocurrencies.

So I came across a couple posters who are clearly just posting to promote a cryptowebsite. They are not engaging the community or in a conversation, they are pasting part of a story and linking back to their site.

Here is the 4 profiles I found actively doing this appears they may have started small then added more accounts. -
Madhu10 -  June 25/19
Nimisha27 - June 26/19
Ankur21 -  June 27/19
Sakshi07 - June 25/19
zecoex - Earliest activity but all posts are still referencing the site - May 18/19

So at most all that can be done is reporting them to be moved to the appropriate section of the forum. Is there anything else that can be put in place, or am I just overthinking this. It just feels like more low quality spam that isn't adding anything. I wouldn't care if they were at least paraphrasing and trying to start a real conversation.
