For altcoins, buy low and sell high, and you will make a profit. Although this statement is correct, it does not go for all coins. Some people think that when the market rebounds, their altcoins will rise with it. But the result was leaving the market at a loss.
So choose wisely and follow up the project. See what their developers are doing, or just hiding behind the prevailing saying.
Whenever you do make out investment then you should really be wise on making out decisions specially on the coins you are tending your do get involved with. You should be aware on how this market
works and at least you are aware on how you would be handing out your funds when it comes to investment. This isnt some simple buy and sell thing because due to unpredictability of the
market then this is what makes even more harder for you to do so.Recovery is there but the probabilities wont really be as always.

I strongly agree that it is impossible for all altcoins to recover and return to stability.
so everything also depends on market conditions, both bullish and bearish, and the factor of the altcoin price itself.
I could attest that until now, most of the altcoins I purchased 4 years ago are still worthless now, though some of them still are in exchanges they are not moving like I expect them to move. The problem with holding a lot of altcoins is that you will miss monitoring every update of each coin, and that would result in a big loss especially if teams decided to do a swap.

I agree with you that not all coins are good to invest, because not all altcoins will increase, therefore we have to do an in-depth analysis of the coins we want to invest, in my opinion even coins that are in the top 10 of CMC are not necessarily profitable.  if we can't determine the ideal time to buy or sell the coins.
Let's see logically now, is it possible for a coin to be in the top 10 of CMC without a lot of interest and volume in the exchange? because they (coins) can be in the top 10 for sure for some reason and one of them is because many are interested, so how come they are not good in your opinion?
There is no way a coin will be in top ten and it will not have value. The rating increase by the way investors buy more of the coin in 24 hour interval or more. The coin market cap and volume is another important factor that help to keep a coin at the front of being on top. More investors seeing it at the top level will like to patronize the coin.

I probably agree with you, because as the practice of the last few years shows, not all altcoins were able to reach their new ATHs or show great growth. I believe that this is due to the large number of altcoins on the market, which leads to a lot of competition, and as you know, in such a struggle, the hardest survive, and the weak leave the market. But in order to be the holder of the best altcoins, you need to turn to at least the top 100 altcoins, for example, on Coinmarketcap and analyze their price movement and development. Perhaps this will allow you to choose the best and invest in them.

Look at the meme tokens now, most of them died already because they are useless in this market and that’s why they can’t exist even longer. We have to look for a more established coins or token if you’re going to invest make sure its worth it.
The issue is that many people are not really thinking when they take those important decisions, they let hype take over and invest in whatever is popular at the moment but if the coin does not have a real use then it will eventually disappear, even the most famous meme coin in this market which is dogecoin has a real use, if you want to send cheap and fast transactions on-chain then dogecoin is the best coin for the job so it is not wonder why those meme coins disappeared so quickly.
Among the altcoins and meme coins, we could find such huge competition in order to survive. A lot of altcoins did a good start but later on, they'll gone(exit scam) which makes investors are too careful to invest and only those projects that have a use case will get attention and these shitcoins keep rejected. That is why we can say that not all altcoins aren't meant to succeed as it will rely on the project how it performed.
Unfortunately only a very small amount of investors are careful enough to avoid those kind of coins, most investors are not really like that, and this is even more true for those that are newbies, they want to obtain profits fast and obviously the best way to do that is to invest in a new altcoin while its price has not skyrocketed yet, but the problem with that is that for every decent altcoin that we have in the market there are probably hundreds of altcoins that will never amount to anything and that will make anyone that invest in them lose their money.

but a lot of tokens on the market are just shitcoins.
True.
If you're going to count them in percentage, they're more than 90% and even can go as high as 95%-99%. And while we see the dip happening lately.
We'll see a lot of alts will not recover, I think.

10% maybe too much, I see now the altcoins in the public are in the thousands. I prefer maybe 5% because it's better tokens are few but potentially, but a lot of tokens on the market are just shitcoins.
You also have to be able to sort out the shitcoin category with potential coins, because not all of them become shitcoins and that 10% increase is also often found by everyone on every coin that has potential and is already in a good category.

I can say only 10% of total altcoins would survive after bullrun on the end of this year/early next year. Most of them will die without any progress or development (all of their purpose is only want to earn quick money through ICO, IEO, IDO or anything else from investors).

True, this statement should be announced on the entire forum. Even though people called this "altcoin season" but in the reality it's not all of the coins are having the good "season", sometimes those coins are instead having a bad ones. Make sure to not be blind with the hype and still do the research on whatever coins you are interested to invest on, it's just to make sure you are investing on the right coins.

Definitely not. The market is notoriously cruel to projects that have no sound fundamental basis for existing.

I think that people need to realize that just because cryptos go up in general, doesn't mean that their positions will go up alongside with the rest of the market.

This is why you diversify and buy a lot of good coins and not just hope for one moonshot by holding one single coin.

The most hyped app next month gonna be RE:WATER You can stake any shitcoin you have and farm $WTR token. Literally any. When people realize the potential - token will explode

Water tokens can be thought of as the backing of any crypto token. And the RE: WATER infrastructure itself, which consists in the production and distribution of Water, gives a universal function to any tokens.

In other words, if you have tokens of some crypto-Project that participates in RE: WATER, these tokens are more likely to survive and become more expensive.

If you have water, it’s all the same now as you live in an African country and you have American dollars. This is cooler than local tokens or even tokens from neighboring African countries.

Pour into the water. As long as it's not devilishly expensive https://www.rewater.io/

Not all coins get a bounce when bitcoin gets healthy.  Some projects new are mostly pumped from dev to create excitement.  So we need to have a ready plan for what is long term and what is a gamble.  The top coins are the sentiment benchmarks for the market, bitcoin and eth.
Even for the top coin there is also no potential to return to its previous price if bitcoin has recovered, make sure the analysis is right before buying any coin and make sure the project has big news in the next few weeks as support to revive the coin price even though the market is still crashing.
Nothing is guaranteed  even for a top altcoin because if you do try to look or do compare on what the market looks like in previous years then you could really say that every coin could be potentially be replaced by something better.

Even though Bitcoin is still cant really be replaced but its not an assurance and lets really mind off with this probabilities because this is something that wont be precisely predicted.
Recovery is there but only into those who do have actual usage and demand in the community,

You are saying right. When market rebounds, The strong projects pump first, and after that the other coins pump. Shit coins takes long time to recover. But the good coins recovers very fast. And it is the best opportunity to make money when market takes a dump. When market dumps, altcoins are available at cheap prices. And the coin pump when the buyers buy coins. And buyers buy the most traded or the most popular altcoins not all.
Mostly it happens because very easy to say buy low and sell high in practical It's very difficult to implement this in most cases new projects give some good profit in start but in second year we have real output about them that is this project going to survive or now because mostly peoples have good profit in start and no one like to check team or project just profit is enough for them.

Right now we have very long list of dead coins which are not doing anything as developers leaves and investors lost big amounts because in start they have good promises which never fulfill now better thing is going by investors just investing in top ranked coins which are much better for them and their investments.

ofcourse investors prefer take safe action with their investment by buying major currency or another good project that have usefull usecase or utility. less investors will care to shit coin which is truely only be speculation asset for gaining huge profits in short term. this kind of coins will take longer time to recovery if compared with major coins.

There's a lot of coins that turns out to be dead a long time ago, and this time of no assurance in cryptocurrency; only those who got promising potential would come to success. Recovery is a tentative situation for all of them, even those with huge numbers of holders won't prosper because of volatile market. That why long term traders should observe and study their asset more often to avoid huge loss in their capital investments.

Many people forget that investing in crypto is a high-risk activity, because the wrong choice of coins for investment can result in big losses.
So it is better for people who really want to invest in crypto always be careful by doing research and analysis first, before finally deciding
to invest in cryptocurrency. Because the reality is that not all coins are good for investment and holding in the long term.

Picking altcoin must be ready for something like this. If not, just take it easy and pick big coins in market. But sometimes, coin which maybe have bigger chance to be dear or maybe not pumped again, usually have 1 or maybe 2 moments when it is give big profit for it's holder. But after that, it get dumped and developer leave their coins and who late to sell usually who mostly suffer because of it.

Not everything will happen according to what we plan. Buy low sell high is simple if you have enough patience to hold. Most of the newbies are really rush and they easily becone discourage when they saw a bloody market they started to become panic and loss thier fucos and sell everything in a panic way, that is why they loss, always remember that you will not going to loss if you don't sell you're asset at loss and holding is the best strategy to do. If you are following the crypto market from year 2018 till present you will find out how important holding is, based on the eth and btc price.

Are the current coins still less established for you? such as BTC, ETH, BNB and others, so you only see meme coins, even though meme coins are not to be owned and are not recommended for investment at any time by everyone.

It is good to invest with projects that are worth more in development and market price. Some meme coin might become left behind if the market continue it bull run. Shit coins might have a serious fall if the market become instable having much loses when other coins are still doing well with there price movement.

I think we need to be vigilant and have to be careful in choosing altcoins to invest in because not all altcoins will recover.  If you want an instant investment then choose an altcoin that is included in the top 10 of CMC, because this altcoin has great potential and prospects in the future.  Like ETH BNB Cardano polkadot litecoin and solana.

Not all altcoins can be selected.  sometimes we don't do an analysis of the coins we will choose.  many people get caught up in high prices.  Therefore, in my opinion, the most important thing is to choose and analyze coins accurately, for example, coins in the top 10 altcoins can be recommended

The problem is that most people never really think about all the possibilities that could happen due to their actions, when they invest in altcoins they are thinking on all the money they could make but they never think about what are they going to do if things go in the wrong direction? And by the time they begin to think about this it is simply too late and there is nothing they can do about it, this is why newbies should not invest in altcoins and should concentrate only in bitcoin at the beginning of their careers as investors.

This is the importance of doing research and analysis before finally deciding to invest, so that we don't choose the wrong coins for investment.
Indeed, the reality is that not all altcoins will recover after the dump, there are even altcoins that eventually become dead coins, because
the team of developers decided to leave the project. What's scary is that the new altcoins that appear today mostly end up being shitcoins,
meaning that once the price drops it's very difficult to recover. So indeed we all have to be very selective in choosing altcoins for investment.
I agree with your suggestion that we should invest in the top 50 coins, most of which have a fairly high demand and will usually recover if the price of
Bitcoin rises. Especially for beginners who do not have the knowledge and experience, choosing an investment in the top 50 coins is highly recommended.
I have experience holding a coin that I expect to rise in the future, but after waiting for almost 1 year, there is nothing update from the dev and the team and finally, the exchange delists the coin. It is sad but I can not do anything except accepting the announcement from the exchange. I can only search for the other exchange and try to send it to them and sell it at once. At that time, I do not think that the price can increase but I prefer to get the money and send it back to the previous exchange so I can search for the other coin.

It is hard to analyze but that is worth doing because at least, that is the one thing that we must do if we want to make money from trading. That is our job to analyze one by one from the lists so we can find the right coin to help us to make money.

Your bad experience with holding the wrong coins was experienced by many people, including me, also experienced the same thing. It makes us
stressed and upset at first, but it becomes an unforgettable experience and can make us even better. Because bad experiences make us more vigilant
in making decisions, then from that bad experience we can learn a lot to fix the mistakes we have made. It's not an easy thing to do the analysis,
sometimes our analysis is not accurate, but as long as we never give up and always try to give the best. I believe we will be more trained in finding
good coins for trading or investment.

Official data from the coinmarketcap and coinecko sites there are already more than 10k cryptocurrencies, with the large number of cryptocurrencies making competition very fierce, this competition will make many altcoins die so only a few can survive and recover when the price drops.
it is very difficult to predict everything, but there are many events that we seek information after the pump occurs on a particular altcoin. therefore, for long-term investment, it is better to choose a clear coin, and risk capital to have fun on new altcoins, or altcoins that we think have potential in the future

bitcoin and altcoins have the same risk. but indeed the advantages of altcoins can give us greater than bitcoin. That's because investing in altcoins with strong growth requires a large amount of capital to earn decent returns. while altcoins have a surprising move.
It should be noted that there is a possibility that altcoins can be severely crushed when the value of bitcoin makes the altcoin market collapse.
Bitcoin and altcoins never have the same risk. When you say altcoins there are good ones and high level ones but there are also very low level and not even listed on CMC ones as well. Bitcoin and ETH may have the same risk I can agree with that, same amount of drops and increases in the % column but when we are talking about something so new and bad that it is not even listed anywhere could go to zero over night and nothing can stop it. Which is why I do not believe that all altcoins are the same. This only supports what OP has said, there are ones that will recover from this, recover from most things but there are also ones that makes zero sense and will never be recovered.

of course not all altcoins will recover, because only the popular altcoins will survive, therefore it is better for you to invest in altcoins that are in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, because it is safer and the price will definitely increase very high in the future, so of course it will allow you to get a big profits in the future from investing in altcoins in the top 100 on coinmarketcap at this time.

People just do not understand this, it seems they think that all altcoins are created equal as they receive the same denomination but this is not true, altcoins are very different among each other and while there are some decent coins like ethereum that allow you to make big profits the majority of the coins out there are either scams or bad projects that are never going to allow you to make profits, and holding them while there is a crash is a big mistake.

Altcoin is much profitable then bitcoin and another coins. Because some altcoins often pump 100-1000% If they can be held then anyone will easily become rich like lottery. But also altcoin is much risky

I think the strategy of buying low and selling it high only for the new traders not for professional trader .At the end they are always in loss if nothing exceptional happen on the invested coin .It can be profitable if you choose the top coin you can make profit in most of the time if market go through with the positive trend .I never suggest on this way of investment or trade i wanna suggest research both fundamental and technical analysis before enter the market if you don't know how to analyse do study on it .

Altcoin is much profitable then bitcoin and another coins. Because some altcoins often pump 100-1000% If they can be held then anyone will easily become rich like lottery. But also altcoin is much risky

Meme coins are very dangerous to invest but they can be profitable too only in a short period of time and after that when the dump season starts to occur, most of them will eventually end up as shit or dead coins. Same with those altcoins that are only good and profitable in the beginning but in the later part, they will lose their value and won't recover again.

Altcoins are highly volatile and they are more risky to invest compared to bitcoin. This is the reason that if you want to invest in altcoins, DYOR first so you won't end up losing your investments just because you have high hopes that altcoins will always be profitable and won't dump easily.

Well said, considering that nowadays such projects and coins have been rising rampantly. It is crucial to scrutinize every possible angle when investing with altcoins because not all coins are the same and their existential intention differ as well.

Yes all altocoins can not recover because some project wil not to good in their lifetime. It it all about some coin who has performed better in past and their team is working very hard all time for the project. If you see some project then you find that have come only to destroy investor's money like ACT (achain), Tuttifutti. Project that has some active thinking will definitely recovered or might passed ATH.

Ethereum, Binance, Solana could all be included in the statement (buy low sell high). But even that Altcoin can not necessarily be right on target because anything can happen in crypto. Loss and profits can be very fast and can take a long time.
Simple...
What's so simple about the market where volatility is uncertain and unexpected? You might have the courage to say that now since the market is a bit bullish but once you see and experience the bear market I have my doubt. Yeah, not every altcoins will recover since most of them are dead already but for those market who's still have a market movement every now and then will be the one to last long.

Most of these altcoins will recover especially those coins that was pumped by Elon Musk. A type of altcoins that was manipulated by them is kind of dangerous to invest once they suddenly left the market.
It's about the Altcoins referred to in this topic that not all Altcoins will recover and about the buy low sell high statement. I think only Top Altcoins can enter into the statement (buy cheap sell high) and I also can't justify that it will happen in crypto market activity because it all depends on market conditions. This can happen if done in the long term. That's what I mean.

Like in all investment places we must know which items/tools to buy and put into your folio because a small wrong estimation will bring you to the losing position.
there are many altcoins that best for investment but there are much many of shit and scam.
so best to know them or never invest at all.
That's what we can distinguish in the future which projects still exist and those that are dead for the upcoming bulls, make it a valuable lesson not to be easily influenced by fomo or hype on these altcoins.
Don't invest in something you don't know, do your research before investing.
you can distinguish in the future? b ut what about the time of investing?

will this be profitable or losing? this must be decided or else you will end up nothing.

There are few things that won't change. People tend to fall for the altcoin hype trap all the time. In most cases, altcoins receive some engagement and then disappear without producing any impact, only the initial investors make money then leave the project forever. Despite the fact that we are in the process of a cycle, it seems like an endless project. As long as investors continue to invest money in it, and keep dreaming of a stellar outcome, the process will continue. You're just convincing yourself that your shit gonna boost, but which is a waste of time.
I could say that altcoin hype is lot way more lesser as of these years compared into those 2017-2018 time on where everything is been hyped up specially including those shitty coins existing on the market
and they do keep on popping out like mushrooms.Talking about recovery is always be a question on altcoin because everything will always vary on the demand because investors as of todays are already a
bit wiser compared into those previous years where people do dive in without minding about the risk but now we are already keen on diving into something but there are still people who do commit out mistakes.

Not all altcoins will recover because currencies generally continue to rise based on their demand if the demand in the market decreases, then the certainty of these altcoins rising above them is much less likely to fall. But ethereum and BNB have market demand for these currencies but prices have risen over time this is why they survive in the market.
It's true that coin movement is still based on supply and demand,
when supply is limited and demand is increasing, of course the price of coins will go up,
it all also depends on the coin because not all altcoins will experience that and talking about Ethereum and BNB I don't think we need to doubt it after all it is the top altcoin
There are coins that create their own demand and that is the popular thing these days. If you really want to do something than you have to actually do it properly and not do it half.

There are so many coins and tokens that provide a reason to buy them, and those coins go up. Utility is the most important aspect of any coin right now, like the whole axie infinity thing is the game, without the game nobody would want to by any axies at all, why would they want any axie?

Well, people end up buying ape NFT for millions or cryptopunks so maybe there would have been a reason but I doubt that it would be as big as it is right now. Meaning that there are very good places with very good utility that end up being high priced. Aside from that I do not think that anything will go and become very big, all those useless small ones that have no utility may end up being zero.

here are currently more than 11,800 altcoins officially listed on coinmarketcap, with the large number of altcoins the competition is very Ttight, only devs. backed by big finances can compete in the market, and when a coin drops it's mostly hard to get back up because of the devs. think that they have made a big profit so they won't pump coins anymore.

That's why trading in cryptocurrencies is not easy and requires other skills to support trading,
as you said either knowledge or analysis is very important,
Trading in cryptocurrency is of course a big risk so you need to be careful
The main capital when trading in cryptocurrencies is not money, but knowledge and analysis are the main keys that are very decisive, because knowledge and analysis is the foundation for every trader when plunging into the crypto market. As someone wants to build a house, without being provided with a strong foundation the house will never be solid when an earthquake occurs everything will collapse. Cryptocurrencies only offer two options, if you don't win, you lose. So to avoid losses traders need to be equipped with strong knowledge and analysis.

That title is right. Not all coins can recover and only the coin with strong and good projects will recover and convince the investors that their project is worth invest. But you should not worry about that because as long as you can invest in the right coins and have the potential to recover, that coin will increase at the right time. Maybe you can invest in the top 50 coins lists so you do not have to worry.

This applies to our whole living time mate not only in altcoin, like in 1 basket of tomatoes there must be ripe or in a basket of eggs surely there will be broken.
but in this part it is more exaggerated because the term is "MOst Altcoins Will Never Survive" that is the right phrase to use in this matter because many of those as shitcoin or at least Fake project at all.

It's a tradition in the crypto market that some coins go up according to market conditions, and when a crash occurs some don't survive and others survive, that's what differentiates good projects from bad ones, the market seems to be selecting which ones to survive and others to fall.

I can say only 10% of total altcoins would survive after bullrun on the end of this year/early next year. Most of them will die without any progress or development (all of their purpose is only want to earn quick money through ICO, IEO, IDO or anything else from investors).

I usually say this, this market has to be well studied and one must understand how altcoins depend on bitcoin, if investors lose interest in a certain altcoin then the price of that altcoin will drop a lot, I felt that when I bought siacoin when I was in 450 satoshi and then the price dropped to 50 satoshi and didn't go up anymore, at that time I thought it had gone down because the price of bitcoin had also gone down, but I was wrong

of course not all altcoins will recover, because only the popular altcoins will survive, therefore it is better for you to invest in altcoins that are in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, because it is safer and the price will definitely increase very high in the future, so of course it will allow you to get a big profits in the future from investing in altcoins in the top 100 on coinmarketcap at this time.

Most altcoins won't recover.  People will point out the coins that do, but if you seen the coin graveyard its massive.  Go find me all those 2017 masternode coins that survived lol.  Millions drained because people say if you don't sell you never lose.  Those same people haven't been through a crypto bear.  This isn't the stock market.

It is not a surprise anyway. Remember that not all altcoins have that market use-case, this means that sooner or later these projects will be abandoned by their developers and so investors. This has come to reality and with the continuous market growth and creation of new projects, I'll expect more of these projects will also becoming dead and never made any recoveries.
That is why we should not to rush the market when investing and it is a must to do research before anything else.

The most frustrating aspect is that there are certain projects that are really slow in implementing things, it is a risk you take when you invest in a project looking at their white paper. I know many projects that are still developing for a couple of years who raised money and is listed in exchanges but yet to launch their end product and the developers claim that they are working on it but no prototype and hence we cannot completely say they are a scam but the users who invested are trapped as the price will not rise unless they launch something. So in these situations there is a possibility that the price would rise if they really launch a product as promised even if it takes a few years.

Then there are projects who collected huge amount of money during their ICO and made a hell lot of money and once the market crashed they do not have enough funds to pay the developers and there are struggling to stay afloat. Those coins will never recover and can be considered dead.

So choose wisely and follow up the project. See what their developers are doing, or just hiding behind the prevailing saying.

It is of a truth that not all altcoins will recover when they dump in price, but one needs to know what causes the dump in price, that is, if it is the market, the team exiting scam or the team working in the background where they are paying full attention to their developments. If an altcoin dumps as a result of the market, it will rebound if it has something good to offer which will draw back more investors to it. If it is as a result of the team exiting scam or abandoning the project, there is every tendency it won't work out again. Now the most tricky part of it, is the project or altcoins whose team are working out something while paying little attention to price, most of the times they come back huge and better, because what they have built over time is worth it.
So therefore, before thinking of holding a coin or token, do well to know the team stand on that project and if they are willing to work it out, because the success of a project depends on them which in turn leads to price growth overtime.
Lastly, knowing when to take profit is also important whether long term or short term.

This has been discussed many times and we all now, not all project are good and most of them is just a hype project, look at the new meme tokens before, they are slowly dying and some of them turn into scam so for me, not all altcoins are worth to hold so if you have a chance to take profit, do it as early as possible or else you’ll be trap on that.

Only few altcoins will survive in every dip, remember the ICO days were only few project is atill viaible up to now. We see how the price fall and how other team escaped without any word. Only few working altcoins can be toatally use depending on the teams performance as well management. ETH been able to survive in every dumping season since its popular and many users in any project. Projects alike can recover whenever dump season happen.

That's the norm. It's a known fact that not all altcoins at the moment would survive a full fledged bear market. Only few projects that launched in 2017 as an ICO have survived till today because that's a time when even the best news doesn't move the market as much as you'd expect it to. That said, I know same thing would happen to most assets that are currently exploding. My advice for people holding various altcoins, I'll suggest taking profits from time to time since no one knows when bear market would come.

There's no assurance in altcoins, it's only by chance that we're going to see altcoins future become sustainable for all of us. When there's a massive drop on bitcoin, it became so vulnerable for alts to cause more tendency to crash at huge volume. Some tokens shows recovery but in the end, the price results was not commendable because when their community loss support their value eventually became cheaper.

Not everything that is bought cheaply can be sold at a high price. There are times when we must sell immediately rather than suffer losses that we cannot control. For investors or for people who make trading their main job, what I say is very understandable. It all depends on the market. It could be that when we buy the price in our opinion, only a few minutes later what happens is not an increase, but a 30% decrease. It ever happened.

"In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable." — Robert Arnot Whatt

What you are referring may be true in short term trading. IMHO, if you are hodler and have the nerves to see the market in red you wont lose. We panic when we see 20 or 30% dip but in reality its just a matter of nerve testing. See fall of bitcoin from 50k to 32k due to Musk tweet, market has recovered ever since and those who didn't panicked didn't lose anything.

For me, better to play safe than regret. Maybe there are a lot of altcoins out there that looks promising in short time, but there are big risk too behind it. If me i usually buy big coins for long term investment. Or at least it have very small chance to delisted from market. Because if already delisted from markets, the coins will only be souvenir in our wallet.

It is quite natural for new users to look for a "new Bitcoin". The cryptocurrency market is for many just to get rich. Unfortunately, in practice, it looks like that most of these people are persuaded to invest in coins or tokens that are to bring them a fortune, and in practice they lose all their money.
Each new investor should very carefully check what he is investing in and, above all, know in what he is investing for.

Many coins never pump and just dump while there are other coins that pump and then dump and then they never recover, can you distinguish if the altcoin in which you want to invest belongs to one of those coins or is it one of the few coins that can actually grow over the long term? And the truth is that for the majority of users the answer to that question is a big no, and as such people should avoid to invest in altcoins at all costs.

As well as being able to do some research if you still want to know more about the potential of altcoins. It is not advisable for them to hold large amounts of altcoins any longer. Maybe setting a benchmark ranking at CMC will give you a little relief so you don't buy altcoins just because there was a trend at the beginning but the progress was slow and even more sinking. This risk is often experienced by some people who insist on investing without doing further research.

So true, when the coin price falls, not all altcoin will recover, some even fall deeper because market demand is very low. When one enter the crypto market, must be equipped with the right knowledge and analysis so as not to make wrong decision. There are so many altcoins that tempt trader, but not all coins are able to show good performance after experiencing a fall.
Because of that every trader prefers to make buy orders at low prices, because considering losses and it is difficult to get a pump back in the future on some Altcoins, so in such conditions the strategy that must be applied is to avoid coins that not so popular yet and just looking at the coins that are always in high demand, that's all.

That's normal that's why there's what we called risk.

Actually, only a few of the many altcoins are legit, the majority are scams, so that would justify the statement that not all altcoins will recover.
When you are investing, though you see a project to be legit and has good potential, it's still not advisable to just focus all your investment on a certain coin or few coins, always look at the possible worst-case scenario, so make a strategy that would minimize the risk.

Actually it must also be targeted very well because everyone who buys must also determine the price, as well as when you want to resell, there must also be a price determination because that is what can make it profitable even though when it goes up and when it goes down it's very difficult to know

I think this already became very popular idea and public knowledge known by nearly all crypto coiners. I failed miserably holding some erc20 tokens after crash and nearly %90 of them couldn't recover half the price. I dumped them all at once and converted to big coins like Ethereum or BNB.

That's why trading in cryptocurrencies is not easy and requires other skills to support trading,
as you said either knowledge or analysis is very important,
Trading in cryptocurrency is of course a big risk so you need to be careful

this will happen if you are lazy enough to make your own research and instead will listen to others specially to those who obviously shill for the said shitcoins.
sometimes we don't know what we are entering yet because there are promises of good return we are blindly investing or crossing our fingers and this will lead us to stupid losing.

in investing here in crypto you must learn how to take time analyzing and understanding , cheking all the details and be knowledgeable each small amount we invest.

You'd be lucky when you get half the money you have invested in the altcoins you thought will make you rich. The team of a project can do a lot of things to make the project successful but they're also the ones that could bring it down to the shithole. You just can't trust any of them as we have seen many of them just promise anything and eventually scam investors despite them showing their faces to the public.
majority of the projects going now and coming are scam , we already knew that but many are still blindly investing because of their own greediness .

You are right that not altcoins are likely to survive the dip. Only coins with innovative ideas and really popular with people will survive in the future. If you want to invest in some shit coins, meme coins or any other altcoins that are not in the top-100, be ready to follow them and sell off when the market shows negative movements.

Indeed, not all coins will recover. I have a friend who used to work from a crypto where the founders doesnt have any plans of thinking about growing their project. They also trick their investors from releasing a new coin which requires the ICO investors to submit KYC and do the swap. So what happened is investors are stucked with the old coins. They also giving a hard time for investors who did the swap to get their new tokens. They are so busy with bounties which makes their token crashing further.

So better select a token before investing.

Therefore, if you know the risks. So when we buy altcoins, we shouldn't be careless just because we see the progress that Fud and Hype are pumping. The durability of time also needs to be considered. And shitcoin be your choice. There is no guarantee whatsoever for you to be profitable all the time holding shitcoins.

As long as Tether keeps printing, you don't have anything to worry about. Don't listen to the fudders. Tether corp. has your back. Crypto market will never crash again. They already printed ~$70b, what is another $70b? If the market crashes (which it won't), they'll print as many usdt as necessary and save your portfolio. Crypto is too big to fail now. The government cannot afford to crash it.

It is a fact that not all altcoins will recover and profitable. There are many altcoins that are only good during their start.
But once they enter the market, that is the start of the misery of their project.
I have seen this fact that not all altcoins will recover in fact some are worse after entering the market, I don't know if the developer is not serious or really lacks interest in this altcoin, obviously I have seen and felt this altcoin before.

Market recovery will not always be good especially in altcoins because there are thousands of types in the market that we have to choose is the right one to make a profit, if only buying low and selling high is difficult to do, because after a trip in the market nothing will happen thought it would be bad.

When talking about altcoins it's difficult to figure out what would be their price movement especially those you think would make a comeback once you hold them long enough. But no, it's not like Bitcoin when you hold it longer you can still have a chance to get your money back due to the halving and bull run. Once the market started to drop you should follow too because most investors would dump their holding too that's why the market suddenly dump fast. This is how most altcoins moved in the past, you might be lucky to sold during bull run but too unfortunate once you left holding a bag of shitcoins.

"bUy LoW, seLL hIgH".
Easy to say but difficult to implement. I hope traders should always learn how to trade properly, having a technical analysis will help you be a good trader.
Because, how will you know if the price is already low? And the price is already high? That's why technical analysis is important. And another important is risk management.

I think we are no longer in "fundamental investment stage" AKA "smart money time". We are in bubble where coins do x4 in 1 month. It does not matter here what project have to offer, what team is behind him. It does matter in the second year of bear market (like whole 2020). That's where you compere project fundamentals and pick the most prospective. During bubble fundamentals does not matter anymore. All traders are interested in is price action, volume.

So if you want to invest ... just stop and come back in 2 years. If you want to trade ... pick coins that outperformed market during recovery after BTC dump, buy the next big dip on them and than surf the waves.

yes its useless even you follow the basic rules such buy low and sell high but despite you still picking a bad project for investment.. It's definitely a big loss after all. so always bear in mind to make research always to obtain specific information wherein how good the project is especially when it comes team behind if they're genuine and professional so that you can assure everything will gonna be alright even when it comes long run investment.. Too good to be true, never rely what people saying, must make your own research for the safety of investment and of course to have a good return after all..

Altcoins are no different from animals and their survival is based on the saying of "only the strong survive" and if they don't have that survival instinct like the devs going ahead with a fork when it's needed the most dont expect the coin to survive or Going ahead with token burns to stimulate its price and make it more attractive to their old time investors and everyone. And If these small steps aren't taken then such an altcoin will be unattractive and will become a broken record.

That's a common thing in the crypto market. People will not buy the garbage coins again after it was getting dumped so hard. Some shitcoins were also dead instantly after it has gotten a pump and then pumpers were gone. This shitcoin didn't have value to extend its life. People will never try to repeat their mistake by buying or even pumping the shitcoin for the second time.
I will take safemoon as an example and that was also dumping so hard after a big pump. So many people got trapped on it and the whales have gone to the another coins and these whales will never came back again to the safemoon. This is just an example how the whales were fooling so many newbies about pumping shitcoin to attract them all and leave them with no money after a period of pump.
The newbies must become the main party that must be careful with this. They were still randomly buying the garbage coin without know the reason about that. This must become an awareness for all of them.
Only legit coins will be attract the whales to come again like alchempay or something else that's proven it with development result.
