Try a 10amp 5volts adapter, it should be more than enough to power up the Erupters.

I've had those slowly drop in output, plenty of power for 6-10 days then miners started dropping off.  PITA to find that problem.  I'm using all Rosewill rhb-520's with the Rosewill psu, they well run 8 miners each hub.  I only run 7 so I have a half amp of head room.  Fewer rejects and hw error, better hash.

Is your OS clean installed? What are the other USB peripherals you plugged in your bus? Maybe just needs a fresh wheezy.

I'm having this problem too. My hubs are sufficiently powered. I've got 3 - 7 port hubs. On one of them, all 7 miners work. The other 2, every other miner works. Frustrating!

Does the hub have any specific brand. I just ended up ordering a rosewill 10 port hub over recommendations that my hub was under-qualified for the pi now my few eroupters are all picked up at cgminer startup.  I'm still working out the kinks since my pi is freezing or my usb to ps2 is not functioning after cgminer starts up for a while.

Just found this while typing so it may be a matter of not using cgminer as well. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/raspi-d-link-dub-h-7-asic-erupters-problem-296936

First off I'm a newbie and I apologize  Grin

Got my first Erupters today, a total of 14.  I'm running MinePeon, with 3x MCM hubs.  All erupters are plugged into front hub port with fan pointed directly on them.

I have Wifi dongle / First hub plugged into Pi onboard

Connected to first hub is 4x Erupter, 1x Artic Fan, and 2x addition hubs
2x hubs have 5 Erupters in each.

Cgminer is only seeing 10 devices, however if I connect one of the erupters it is not recognizing directly to Pi it finds it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Have verified that the hubs have enough po power the erupters? Which erupters aren't being seen? Is it the hub with the other hubs plugged into it?
