there is no point of keeping a custodial wallet with zero customer service....
This problem was also facing by so many holders ont he custodial wallet. The custodial wallet didn't had active customer service that can reply to the users that faced a problem anytime.
There must be an improvement in the custodial wallet especially on its CS. that will make the user feel confidence about that.

Everything is in Blockchain. But they have different wallets.
Private key and exchange ones. But my BTC, Eth and usdt they are all in Blockchain
BTC and usdt in my private key wallets. Eth in the exchange wallet

thank you so much for the help! I was FINALLY able to swap my usdt to btc......

the problem was that I was keeping my eth in the exchange wallet instead of the private one.., so after moving everything around, the problem solved.

By the way....walking away from blockchain since there is no point of keeping a custodial wallet with zero customer service....
You kept ETH in the wrong place which clearly shows how much ignorant you are about in the crypto space which isn't a bad thing but learn the basic things before having your cryptos, luckily you didn't lose your cryptos on any scam exchanges and fake wallets. Keeping your funds in the non custodial wallets is always recommended for higher security of your funds.

Hello,

I have a blockchain wallet.
I swapped around 350  USD worth from BTC to USDT a couple of weeks ago.
Now I want to swap the balance back to BTC.
As far as I know, I need ETH to swap USDT.

I have 8 Usd worth of ETH in a trading account and about 20 USD worth of BTC in my private wallet.
Still, every time I want to swap from USDT to BTC I get an error saying that I don't have enough ETH.
Ok, so I tried to swap my 20 USD in BTC to eth, and I get an error saying I don't have enough BTC balance to swap to ETH.

So I'm stuck....and I really need my 350 usdt!

Any idea of what might be the problem?

Thanks

you need more ETH mate to cover the fee that's the only choice for now.. Actually we have the same situation and i have try already all stuff in here, such uniswap and etc using my trust wallet but sad to say it didn't work for me as its alway saying invalid session bla bla bla.. .. Just imagine i was sending about 60$ and its asking for 17$ to 20$ to cover the fees... So no choice mate if you really need a money you need to sacrifice some cash..

BTC and usdt in my private key wallets. Eth in the exchange wallet

It looks like your problem is that your eth is in an exchange wallet, not in your privat wallet. To move/swap your USDT token from your private wallet you must have an eth balance in your personal wallet as well for transaction fees. You need to withdraw your $57 eth to your private wallet.
I have never used blockchain.com, only my understanding is based on their instructions and my experience on other swap exchanges. So, cmiiw

So now I have 57 USD in my ether wallet and still get an not enough funds message when trying to swap my thether yo BTC.

Question: this 57 are on my exchange Eth wallet.
Is this on or should I add more funds the my private Eth wallet?

Sorry to ask this here but I tried contacting Blockchain customer service to no avail

where did you want to swap your USDT to BTC? did you exchange it from Blockchain.com or other exchange?
try to withdraw your eth balance from exchange to your address that has USDT

Swap operation of one token for another now costs about $ 30. For Swap operations, it is better to use Fast Gas Price.
This is necessary in order for the smart contract to be completed within one minute.
If you set a lower value, then the smart contract may not be executed due to price changes and you will still lose a part of the commission.

You are not stuck, all you need is to have enough fee to cover the transaction fee of the swap which can be from 20 to 5o.dollars depends network clog, I will say just deposit some ETH from anywhere to your Blockchain wallet then intiate the swapping process.

If you swap your tokens on ERC 20 chain, you will need to prepare about $30 for transaction fee for every swap. It can be higher or lower than $30 but this cost is common most of times in the network.

The Ethereum network gives people some cheaper times last few days but gas price on the network will rise again. 46 Gwei for Rapid transaction is great. Weeks ago, you have to spend more than 200 to 300 Gwei for Rapid transaction.

Check the recommended gas price for your swaps, transactions.

It seems you are using a wallet with dex that have supported multichain or your btc is on tokenized smart contract of eth? Like wbtc?

Or if it does on separate on chain wallets then you have no choice but to add more funds. Gas fee now is very high and sometime it peak more. Better to add more or you'll end up being dissapoitned if your transaction got burnt when it failed during sending.

If you are swapping from your private wallet, you're doing a on-chain transaction through a Dex (like Uniswap or Sushiswap). These cost quite a lot on fees (around $16+ on fees right now, according to gasnow.org), so you really don't have enough ETH.

Your 20 USD worth of BTC is also on a private wallet, so I'm not sure if you can swap them without paying the same fee or even how it's possible on Blockchain.com (but the ETH is most likely occuring another on-chain tx).

You will probably need to get some more ETH and send to your wallet, so you can pay the fees to swap the USDT to BTC.
