I want to know some information about bounty tokens here. What I want to know is - if a bounty sends me some of their tokens to wallet as payment, but the token is not an exchange list. I want to sell this token. ICO rate is given. In that case, can I exchange the token in the market? If there is any such information, I want to know. If there is, I want to learn the system. Give me information about this.

The only way to sell it is when it is in the market, if it is not, you have to wait, sometimes the wait is long sometimes it's long, if the project is good and they got funded you can see it in a good exchange usually tier 1 or 2 exchange, I have participated on bounties in the past and sometimes it took me half a year to trade it, and I also receive coins that get in the market for a month but it has no volume.

This is the risk in joining bounty paid with tokens which is not yet listed in any cex/dex so it has no value yet so its buy luck if it will be listed early before bounty distribution so I advise join only bounty which team has the capabilities to list token even in just DEX like Uniswap or PancakeSwap or to be sure join only if tokens they are paying are already listed and has enough volume and liquidity.

I'm pretty sure that you cannot sell the tokens as long as not listed in any exchange. Need to wait for the official announcement where they should list the tokens in the future. No other choice than to hold and wait. Maybe it is possible to sell to those who are interested and real buyers. Don't sell to scammers

There are a lot of useless tokens in the market that don't even single exchange listing. You better forget them if they don't have any active discussion anywhere. I hold dozens of tokens from 2014-18 era and most of them didn't even see any listing in these time-frame. We knew this risk when we joined bounties so I don't care much about it. Considering how many scam tokens we saw in the past, I see them as casualties.

Some of those tokens don't have any plan to develop their project to compete with those tokens that have some huge popularity and therefore they've just abandoned it because of lack of resources and budgets. Until now we have those coins that have not been listed to some exchanges even though they were promised when we read the updates on their telegram groups. For the bounty hunters, it's a known thing when they have some tokens in their wallets that haven't any developments on them for years since the truth behind it is they are abandoned and their owner has already given up with that project.
That was very unfortunate and an absolute waste of time for the bounty hunters promoting and receive nothing but just a shitcoin.
Many had become a victim, not only hunters but also early/pre-sale investors. The promise is totally attractive and full of hopes but later on, the development becoming dry and turn to nothing.

There are countless project tokens that are not listed in exchanges at this time and this can be multiplied in the future if there is no such regulation prohibiting fake/scam projects.

There's no way to sell a token if it is not yet in the market unless someone offers to buy it or you offer it to sell and there is a taker, I have a lot of coins that I have received but it failed to get in the market, so it becomes useless or shitcoin, this is the term investors are using if the coin cannot be traded.
This is the risk of participating in an ICO there is no guaranty that the exchange will get in the market that is why people prefer to invest in IEO because it is guaranteed to get in the market.

If you have a goal to sell a coin that is not traded on centralized exchanges, you can check DEX, perhaps it is already traded there. But if it is not traded there, you can independently list on a decentralized exchange. But in this case, you should know that your commission will be higher than usual, because you will have to create this pair.

you can not sell the token that you receive on the bounty campaign unless the project has not yet registered on the exchange. You have to wait patiently and help the project in there campaign to succeed so that it would be easier to launch on the market.

you cant sell it because it wasnt listed but check the bounty if they support selling stakes via tokpie .
having a rate doesnt mean that an ico is listed but thats only an estimation price and that can change soon so dont foccus on it too much but foccus on the work that you have if you believe on the bounty that you join because they will soon get listed and the value of thier tokens can grow .

To make a deal, you need a buyer and a seller. If you want to sell, someone has to buy.Your currency is not listed on any exchange, so it can be understood that there is no buyer and therefore it cannot be sold. Here's a tip. Go to the community of your coin and see if anyone wants to buy.

Depends on token, if it's ethereum based token you can sell on forkdelta/uniswap despite it not being officially listed + contract shouldn't be locked, you also need liquidity. If it's good bounty, it would get to good exchange sooner or later, so may be just hold it?

Yes, that's right, ethereum-based token exchange is very good or very meaningful for those who get tokens from existing projects, but tokens that are not allowed to sell or buy need to be considered again or reconsidered, because by not there is an exchange token or a buyer, the project membership will decrease or decrease by itself.

As long as there is no market exchange of course the token is worthless, most tokens take a long time to be accepted on the exchange and all we do is be patient, because that's all we can do.
Perhaps, he can search the DEX because sometimes, the project starts to list their token in the DEX before they ask for listing in the major exchanges. If their token is not listed on DEX, there is no other way except to wait for the next announcement from the team. Usually, it takes a couple of weeks or even months before they release the news about exchanges that accept their tokens.

If so, he could only hold the token and hope that the token will not take too long to list on many exchanges. If the projects hold a big fund, that will not take too long to see their token will enter to one or more exchanges because they need to pay a fee for entering the exchange listing.

It's impossible to happen, because token that not listed in any exchanges it means it has no value and not tradable, btw what's the name of your token? If i were you contact the dev and ask more question such when they listing, because they're the only one who know when it will become available to trade.. However if you have that token for long time, i suggest to don't expect anything from it because it's totally a shitcoin..

If the token is not available on any exchange yet then it's value is zero. The price is only determined by the demand and supply.
If the token is not available for sell then it does not have any real value and the only value it has would be the one it's project owners have determined.
The only way you can sell those tokens would be if you communicate about it in their groups on discord or telegram and if someone is willing to buy those tokens from you.
Otherwise you don't have any option than to wait for the listing on the exchange.

Well you can try sell your coins on decentralized exchange such as uniswap by creating the pool but i think it does a lot of work cause you will need some eth to make a good pair and the pool size will affecting the price of the coin so much.
That is if it is in uniswap, but if there is no liquidity at all, he will not be able to do anything with the token because all tokens can be swapped if they are listed on the exchange, if not on the exchange, then nothing can be done.

The most feasible and easy way is to wait for the token to get listed in any exchange because otherwise it is difficult to sell them and you cannot trade your bounty tokens in market. But if you want to sell them other ways then you can probably find some other ways like P2P trade and sell them to anyone who will be willing to take it from your at ICO price and sell when listed. The other alternative are sell them on DEX like LedgerDex on which you have to login with your metamask and add tokens to the list from all the ERC-20 tokens available and you can see buy/sell options from there or other exchange like Uniswap so you can have them in your list if you are so eager to sell them.

this is the unpleasant part of being a bounty hunter, after we have spent a long time doing bounty tasks, we still have to wait for the coin to be distributed, and wait again until the coin is listed on a certain exchange, and then can sell it, but the reality is instead not all bounty coins will be listed on the exchange, I still have some bounty coins that are not listed on any exchange until now

Absolutely right, that's the tough part of being a hunter, though before we start participating with any project.

We must do deeper research and keep our self updated with how the project is working, it will avoid us to participate with scam project.
Distance yourself with any possible scammers, you can do this by taking time to review and study what are the patterns of this kind of developers.

A token that is paid as reward for your service and is not tradeable on any market, such token is useless. It is better to take a reward for your service in stable coin or another token that has market value. Another aspect of your issue could be that the token paid will be listed soon and you will be able to hold or sell for another token or coin. I think you need patience and you need clarifications from team that paid you with token with no market value!

Bounty tokens can only be sold if they are registered on a Decentralized or Centralized exchange. If the bounty token has not been registered on any exchange then you cannot exchange it for other coins.
Yes, in general it is because without being registered on any exchange, the bounty token will only be a display in our wallet, that's why before joining the bounty we are required to do a complete check on the project so that when the project is finished we can immediately exchange it on the exchange after the distribution is done by the team.
but sometimes something we keep for a long time can become a gem in the future.
the most important thing is that the project is still being worked on by the team, and indeed there is development. Even though it is not listed on the stock exchange, we do not know what the future holds for the project that is still being implemented.
because sometimes there are projects that take 1-3 years to see the results in the market.
My advice, just keep it while it can't be sold. Don't despair and improve your quality to get more assets in your wallet.

there's no way you can sell the token if it's not yet listed in any exchanges.. And that's why mostly of the bounty hunters holding their token until it becomes available to trade.. So next time you better choose which is has a value already so that you can sell it immediately,  not those new and no value because you don't know if it has a future, infact most of the token nowadays are shitcoin so be aware especially if you used to buy token from new projects and etc.

in simple terms actually how many tokens you get from the bounty campaign have the ability to be listed on the DEX exchange. such as ERC tokens that allow us to sell on IDEX or UniSwap. BSC tokens that allow us to sell on pancake swaps. but not all of them have trading volume. because if it's too small, we can't sell it either.

if there is no development of the project and efforts to develop the market, it will be difficult to see the bounty token you are referring to can be traded on any exchange.

You can find out by asking for the manager or the teams to sell your token because they will give a list of the exchanges that already accepted their token. Usually, the token will list on one or two exchanges before the token gives to the bounty participant. After that, the bounty participant can sell their token by sending that token to the exchanges. But I see that some project is not listed their token soon after the bounty is ended because they need to prepare something before it listed on the exchanges.

Like people say, you can sell these "non listed" tokens by p2p (sell tokens on forum, p2p marketplaces, or even offer someone to buy them in projects telegram channel (chance of being banned is 99.99%)) or create a sell order on forkdelta for example. There are plenty of options to "list" a token by yourself on dex platforms. As long as token is not locked by contract, you can do what ever you want with it. There are even gambling platforms (warning, use it on your own risk) where you can gamble with any tokens or coins you have.

that may or may not happen, if someone buys it back for a certain price. However it is not safe and guaranteed for you, I think it is better to wait until an official announcement from the project is available to trade.

It may still be possible to sell these coins using various DEX platforms. But don't expect the ICO rates when you sell them. I faced this issue back in 2018 and 2019, when I was still participating in the bounty campaigns. On average, I got only around 5% to 10% of the ICO price when I sold these tokens using platforms such as Idex and Forkdelta. Another issue is with the liquidity. There may not be enough buyers available, so that you can dump them. If only one or two of them are present, then they can manipulate the rates and place their orders at a level which is much below the prevailing market rate.

All you need to do is wait and while you are waiting try to study some bounties and airdrops on how they worked. As you can see most of them are scammed and if that's the case, all of your resources will not be guaranteed to return. I mean there's no result even though you wait for so long for that coins to get listed. However, some token have their own right time and many users cannot deny that there are some token that even thought they haven't been popular in their early days, if the owner is pursuing the coins to get listed on exchanges then someday it would be done.

You will need to patiently wait for them to be listed. If you are lucky enough they will be successful and can afford to be in an exchange like Binance, Okex, or Kucoin. The value of that coin you supported will have a spike in value in a short time.

Try asking their team. Most of them have a discord channel or a telegram group.
Just look at the rules first since some of them don't want to talk about bounties in their main channels, try asking to be redirected to a group where your questions will be answered.

how do you sell if there is no market that puts the token into the market? however, you need to wait for the token to have an exchange. Moreover, in terms of sales, you cannot sell it at the ICO price when the price is low or higher when it enters the market.
the other way is, you sell the tokens to someone who needs them. it's a widely used method for people to hold the token before entering one of the exchanges. however, most of the prices are below the ICO.

There's another way/s for selling your bounty tokens if that token is still not listed on any exchange, you can do it peer to peer.
I saw someone before in this forum that is buying bounty tokens or those tokens that are not yet listed in some exchanges, so it could be another way.
If there is someone willing to buy it, you can always sell it.
Yes this is possible but somehow I find this method very risky for those buyers. But for the sellers this is a good chance and opportunity to monetize even the tokens are not yet listed.

I also encountered this kind of buy and sell before and also there is a platform that works out like this, when you can sell your stake from bounty actually. Just forgot the name of the platform.

If the tokens you get from the results of your work in Bounty have not been registered on the market, of course you can't sell it. Automatically you have to wait until the token is registered on the market. Or you may also see in other markets, because the market is not just one.

The question is where you can sell your token since it was not yet listed in an exchange? Maybe, if there is someone on the group who is/are willing to buy it in a mutual communication that will be your chance, however, it is a risk of scam will happen. You know what is going on around and that is safest if you will wait until it was listed sometimes it takes months or years.

BTW, what particular token is that?

If the token has not been listed on the market you will not be able to sell it, there is an ICO prize that does not mean you can immediately sell the token at the same price. Bounty hunters are the same as early adopters for projects, so my advice if you don't want to wait long to be able sell the tokens you get from the bounty then just join a bounty with project has a clear market and price or you can also join a fixed bounty payment with btc or usdt.

How about the website of the token you are talking about right now?? is it still available now?
try asking their community, maybe someone is interested in the token. By the way, what token do you mean?

I don't know if this still works or not. Some people used https://forkdelta.app/ to sell it (just for ERC token). but if no one buys it you can't exchange it.
It's still the same, even if it's on there but there's not that much people who are willing to buy and there's no volume, that's useless. And that's the same as the etherdelta but these dexes were already forgotten and not being used because of the popularity of the dexes made by popular CEXs.

why don't you wait for the token to be listed on the market?
He maybe wants to dump it as quick as he can so that he'll take the money already as much as he can. And it came from a bounty that he participated as he said so he probably knows how things work with bounties and usually most of them aren't successful in listings and just floats on their wallets as dust.

You can't sell it until it's listed on the market, unless someone personally offers to buy the token, to offer the token to others, you can try offering it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0

Wait for further development of the tokens that you have, because we can't exchange them if not listed on any exchange. That's very important for a project to have a live market, so we could establish a good profit gains that help us sustain. Unfortunately my previous experiences from ICO doesn't gave me good outcomes from bounty projects, most tokens I got doesn't have any good exchange and worst is not being listed due to being scammed by owners.

No, you can't sell if the token is not listed on any exchange yet, or even if the token is still ongoing in the IEO exchange, you still cannot sell the tokens. It is very common to happen that bounty rewards are not even listed in any exchange after the campaign ends. Or, you need to wait longer times in order to sell the tokens because sometimes, the team has a certain roadmap in which listing exchange may be in the next two or more months.
That is why before joining nay bounty, it is also important to consider their roadmap when they will list on exchanges and what exchanges will be their priority.

There's no way to sell a token if it is not yet in the market unless someone offers to buy it or you offer it to sell and there is a taker, I have a lot of coins that I have received but it failed to get in the market, so it becomes useless or shitcoin, this is the term investors are using if the coin cannot be traded.
Yeah, we can sell it P2P, but this is also difficult to find moreover if the project is not good enough and only a few people want to do it. And we must also be careful if going to sell the tokens to another person because it is also a risk to meet a scammer.

If there's no exchange on that token and it's not listed everywhere then that's obvious, there's no value for that token and even if you price it at an ICO rate. You will rarely see people buy it from you directly even if you sell it through P2P. And you just can't sell it at an ICO rate because the price usually dumps after the launching and that's why the price that you're about to sell is probably higher than the market value that it will reflect when it's already in the market. But as early as you want to sell it and there's no market on it, there's no point for the buyers to have it if they cannot even sell it again.

This is the risk of participating in an ICO there is no guaranty that the exchange will get in the market that is why people prefer to invest in IEO because it is guaranteed to get in the market.
