I began to deal with the subject of cryptocurrency in the fall of 2017, although I heard about the bitcoins several years ago. But then it was the occupation of a small group of amateurs. Today it is a popular topic thanks to the media.

Yeah I think a lot of people will think this more and more. Now that we passed 10k and only more good news is coming in. Otherwise, we are still at the beginning. Maybe you can't get another 10000x like it was from 10 cents but you can still make 100x I guess and with altcoins may more be possible. It just gets harder I think.

I heard about bitcoin few years ago while it was just booming due to my interest on trading/ FX, commodities. Back then if you look up alternative trading or investing, bitcoin quickly surfaced up. i presumed it just the way from which perspective your search.

Many people heard about cryptos years ago and didn't believe in them.

Just be glad that even now, you can still say you are an early adopter and make some great profits.

I think a lot of people are in this boat.  I'm sure a lot of us heard about this way before we actually jumped in.  UGH!  Guess we have to chalk it up to "lesson learned".    Smiley

You can check this via the actual users being very low compared to how many use bitcoin now.  Its still just a fraction though.

It is not very mainstream, even still. Strange you didn't hear about it with research.

How come that it took me 8 years since the beginning to discover bitcoin/altcoins?
i did research for almost 2 years to find something like that and it never happened. and i did alot of research.

how is this even possible?
or do you guys know anything else like coins to earn some extra money?

Yes you can definitely earn extra money not only through btc or altcoins, there's a lot of airdrop and bounty program that offers free tokens, that soon can be cash out in an instant. You can check it on twitter and here in bitcointalk forum, so much information that we can gather in here. Smiley
