I wouldn't even trust it if it says "[email protected]"... email addresses can be spoofed relatively easily. You would need to carefully check the email headers and see where the email actually originated from.

This is a copy of the emails:

Code:
Blockchain ([email protected])
To:you Details
Avatar&Stellar
Stellar airdrop for BTC and BCH owners.

This is not the same as what I received on the blockchain so possible the email is scam beware.

Here's what it looks like if you receive email from blockchain.

So if you receive an email different from [email protected] it's 100% scam email so beware.

It's SCAM the email address that forwards the details about the stellar airdrop from the blockchain wallet team is ([email protected])
and it does not require you to prove whether you hold any BCH or BTC.

All they need you to do is to verify the account you registered with them and pass the KYC to be eligible to receive the airdrop.

Stellar airdrop for BTC and BCH owners.

We are giving away another $300,000,000 of Stellar XLM to BTC and BCH owners.
BTC and BCH owners will receive an equivalent amount of XLM coins in the ration of 1:10000 for BTC and 1:1000 for BCH. If you have 1 BTC you will receive 10000 XLM valued at $ 900 (usd) and 1000 for 1 BHC valued at $ 90 (usd). The coins will be transferred automatic to your wallet after the claim has been made. The snapshot was made at block 575091 (Main Chain), 2019-05-08 07:11:47.

Safe and fair distribution.
To exclude markets and whales we have excluded from airdrop BTC and BCH addresses that owned more than 100 BTC and 1000 BCH. The airdrop is made by blockchain only and you dont need to send any funds to receive the airdrop. Your safety is our first and main priority.

What can I do with my XLM?
It’s up to you! XLM was designed to be used to transact with your friends and family across the globe in seconds.

What are you giving away?
We have partnered with the Stellar Development Foundation to give free Stellar Lumens (XLM) to Blockchain Wallet users. XLM is a token that enables quick, low cost worldwide transactions. Learn more here.

What do I need to do to receive XLM?
It`s a simple process that requires to prove you are the owner of the BTC or BCH. Use the button bellow to start the claim process.

Don't fall in trap, Please verify link before submit anything. Lot of fake airdrop scam happening lately. It would be better if OP could add some more details. Scammers gaining privet key by fake airdrop or hacking wallets. So please be sure you are visiting right website before submit any kind of personal details.

Much better to post the link here so that we know if it scam or not.

It should be like this one on coinbase https://www.coinbase.com/earn/stellar
or this one in blockchain https://www.blockchain.com/getcrypto

If it's not the same as what links that listed above it might be a scam or fake airdrop so much better to ignore them.

Got three emails from these, Stellar airdrop for BTC and BCH owners, offering free crypto coin but I wasn't able to find anything about them on the web. So bells are ringing.

Mind providing some screenshots?

The fact that it was 3 emails I doubt all of them are legit. In blockchain Stellar airdrop for example, I only received 1 email but supposed to be 2 I guess since the first email was about the wait list. Never received follow up email since then. Don't know about the others.

Well too early to conclude so give us more details here.

There were some stellar airdrops that happened officially but there were also some fake airdrops or in other words scam attempts actually reported here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scam-stellar-official-airdrop-leave-your-application-and-get-220-xlm-5096363

Post some details so that we are able to help you out if this is official one or merely a scam attempt.
