Exactly ^^

If you're running into issues running more than 4, you need to ensure Windows is installed in UEFI mode. After Windows is installed in EUFI mode find a setting in your bios called 'Above 4G Encoding' and change it to enabled. If you try that without UEFI Windows, Windows will not boot.

Thanks for clearing this up. It´s very helpful to me!

Hi, I try simple os, but I have problems with it.
My rig contains:
Power Color
2x470 8gb, 2x480 8gb and 2x480 4gb
motherboard prime 270-p
Do I need any additional information about the system?

I write image to USB flash drive 8gb
Miner works only for 4 gpu, when I use 5 or 6 gpu's I get an error. Error example in attach.
I also tried to install a patch (beta kernel  4.11). second photo with error after this.

You need to enable Pcie 4G setting. It allows for more resources to be allocated to your pcie controller.

Go play in your bios.

You might have to reinstall your OS after enabling this setting.

Had the same problem on my z270. Running 8 XFX RX480 8Gb now using  switch.

Good luck
