You better report the PM to the mod as unsolicited PM. Also a confirmation from he mod who will handle the report will ensure that your evidences are true.

However honestly speaking, I do not think anyone is going to tag this user just because he asked some smerit. There used to be time when it was very sensitive but these days especially after introducing the trust flag the tagging culture changed a bit. One can leave a neutral if they are satisfied with the evidences but for me I will pass it until I see a confirmation from a mod or a highly reputed user.

edit:
To prove my point, the feedback left by Vod is from 2018 which was the early stage of introducing merit system.

Do you mean merit trading isn't a matter in this forum? So he doesn't deserve to get painted? Even a merit beggar only asked 1 merit deserved getting painted from DT members https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/merit-begging-5067803

Let me know if this doesn't worth to got painted, I will delete this post ASAP like nothing happened and no need to discuss more.

OP, assuming this is your only account, how many sMerits could you possibly have?  You haven't earned that many, certainly not enough for someone to ask you to buy some from you.

Anyway, this shit has been going on since the beginning of the merit system and though I thought that everyone had given up trying to rank up, apparently there are a few members left who are still trying to squeeze every drop of income out of their signature spaces.  Makes me wonder if it's even profitable to buy your way up the ranks--buying a senior account might be, but buying merits seems way too expensive to me.

You should report PMs like this, OP.  There's no need for a thread like this, although personally I don't mind seeing someone named and shamed.
