Actually no necessary to enable 2FA feature on this forum account. It can not contain of any important information about asset, private key. You just have to scan your PC with powerful anti virus program, then change your password. Should be careful with your acquaintances.

I agree, OP needs to work on his end and figure out what needs to be done. And quit paying the ransoms! As for the forum changes, isn't some of this supposed to happen with the new forum site? If it ever gets up and running that is.

OP is just trolling, Nobody including himself cares for his account, he just come here and trolls around saying xyz features should be implemented here.

How can requesting a feature to be added in the forum, be trolling.
In fact you are the one who is shitposting.

Three times is stretching it. How much were the ransoms? If you get hacked again, just don't pay the ransom, the hacker will go away. I guess they keep targeting you because you pay them. And bin your PC, phone or whatever it is you use to login here.

- Requesting a feature just because you were stupid enough to get your account hacked thrice doesn't really count.I mean what if theymos activates 2fa and still your account gets hacked ? You will again ask for another feature isn't it ? Look closely, the problem doesn't seem to be the lack of the feature but just general internet safety. You could work on that.

- Inner Me : - This got to be a special type of hacker who keeps hacking your account and ask a ransom. **Giggles

While it is absolutely right that it's OP's fault for having his account hacked so often, 2FA is certainly something required. Especially since it has essentially been coded already, and just requires implementation.

I recall you saying in another thread OP that you had some kind of keylogger which is why it was happening? if that's so then the flaw lies at your end and not with the forum..

Your pc are probably already breached by keylogger or you use a same password for every website you've visited.

If your account ever got hacked again, don't pay ransom, instead contact theymos to recover your account.

Although I agree that forum needs F2A

It should have something like we can't able to change our email so this will protect from scammers. Also 2fa is very good thing in these days, but I hope some security will needed. A lot of hackers are getting involved everyday.

While I do agree that the forum needs 2FA, I doubt even that would protect your account at this point. I would seriously consider scanning your computer if you've been hacked three times. You're either being keylogged or someone has remote access to it. Why you would continue to pay after the second time is beyond me.

Dear Theymos,
I request you to add more security features to the forum such as 2FA.
This was the third time I had to pay my account hacker ransom to get my account back.
This is just so ridiculous.
Take notice. And please add 2FA.

Thanking You,
erwin45hacked
if you are using a pc it is hacked definitely. That is why even you change your password the hacker will know the password.
login using different device on the bitcointalk account change password.
change your secret question
change the email you use (use gmail with 2fa already turned on).

Scan your PC with anti virus or reformat it using genuine windows os.

If its the third time that you've gotten hacked, it isn't Theymos's fault. Its yours. Secure your own account, it isn't easy to break into someone's account repeatedly.

Yes 2FA is needed but the reason for your hacks weren't the lack of 2FA.
