The example image of a notification center posted above looks fantastic. There are so many lost conversations out there because we don't currently have a convenient tool to notify quoted responses.

I'm glad to hear that this is part of the new forum software  Grin

Good idea, possibly make an option to get a Desktop Notification.

This is in the works and already supported on the backend, but I think the interface will be designed and updated later.

Great to bring up and thanks for the mockup image!

Similar to this image?

The tab that is open is people who has quoted me. The envelope beside it drops down the exact same way for PMs, and the last one just changes the theme of the site. Personally, I think we could use the last 2 in the new site.

We need a place to display all the updates. When somebody replied to a thread started by you, when you have been quoted, or when threads with the same tags(as I understand tags are going to exist in the NFS*) as the ones you usually reply to appear. There are plenty of reasons to have such a feature and it would be great to have all this info in one place.

I don't quite use Facebook, but a dropdown similar to what they use would be great.

*NFS, as in New Forum Software, as I was getting tired to type it everytime.
