You can't currently. This may be a new feature of the new forum though.
I'm bumping this thread because it really annoys me that there is no option to enable notifications when someone quotes you. This should be easy to implement and I don't understand why do we need to wait for "new forum".

That's true, I believe that this feature should have been present in this forum ever since it was established since it is essential in keeping a conversation going on threads. It can be such a hassle to go through various pages (especially when you're awaiting for a reply) from time to time, when you can get notified instantly. I guess with a lot of improvements needed in this forum, the "new forum" will be live sooner than we can expect since we don't have any updates regarding its progress. Let's just wait and hopefully this feature would be accounted for!

Yes this would be very useful if it is implemented.  Hope to see the "new forum" has the feature.

Can someone tell, is "new forum" in work?
Can you please add this feature before the new forum is released?

I created a thread about this previously, but I do have one method that works somewhat well: go into the search tool of BCT and type in your own name, and it'll show the most recent quote of yours (in a quote tree1, even) or any mention of your username. It's a little barbaric, but it gets the job done until someone creates a script - which I would gladly pay for2 - to automate the process and send unseen quotes to a notification bin.

1. where you have long chains of quotes
2. nothing too big, maybe two beers worth.

Oh that's why. I was looking through the options and can't find anything similar. Hopefully they'll add it soon.

Hi, don't really want to start a topic about this but I just got this quick question: How do I get notifications when I get quoted in a thread?
